Prinhi goes to speak, but her attention snaps to her rabbit companion. After a moment of awkward silence, she sighs, "Alright... Yes, there is a way I can find it. Well, we can find it. But it is going to take a couple of hours or so. Is that alright?"
Finally snapping herself out of her thoughts, Daffafle looks to the Caretaker. "Is there any way we can help? I have some knowledge in the arcane, though it is nowhere near your expertise."
Prinhi smiles at the dwarf, as the rabbit hops around placing bunches of flowers and leaves into the middle of a circle of stones.
"If you feel you qualify for answers just by arriving, you haven't arrived yet." The speaks waving her hand over some dried leaves as they begin to singe at the tips sending a pungent scent in the air that tickles the nose.
Prinhi pauses to smile at Daffafle, "You know more than you think you know. Trust me."
Prinhi holds up a log, and shakes it to reveal it was a crafted hollow instrument that rattles at the gesture and rattles at the wind that is conjured.
The gnome takes the long ears of her rabbit in each of her hands and leaves are caught up in the winds that leave the onlookers undisturbed.
They hold this position for a moment. The light breaching the canopy above intensifies, but leaves hold it enough to keep it from being blinding. A power drowns out the birdsong, the trickling stream and the crackling of the small flame. And the moment this becomes noticeable, and almost overbearing, it snaps and noise returns.
The dark-rooted, grey-tipped hairs of the rabbit have bristled and its ears now droop. Prinhi is left out of breath and quickly takes a seat on the stump, "I had a hunch; a necromancer has stolen a body, and people have began to stolen all over the land... I can remember where I saw them last, and do you remember where you woke up? I scryed on the place I spotted previously... A figured covered in head to toe in loose clothing talks things with a masked woman, a white dragonborn and a sleek human... I was discovered, but this remains hidden for now. Do you have an ideas?"
"So the masked woman is Miss Whatshername, the one everyone thought tae be a necromancer? Or that's her body, is what yer sayin'. She seemed a bit too strong fer an umgi woman .."
Daffafle shudders at mention of the masked woman. "So you believe the necromancer has possessed the mayor's daughter, and is the masked woman?" she thinks on this for a few moments, then frowns. "But, she talked about her "master". If she were truly the necromancer behind it all, surely she would be the head, not another...unless she is referring to the snake deity we found engravings too...still, she didn't appear to have necromancy-like abilities when we fought her."
"Phenri said there was misterious figure talkin' things with her, maybe thats our necromancer. I don't know things 'bout magic and spells and sparkles, but if a soul can be taken out of a body maybe a soul can also be put into it? Maybe its a ...howdoya say it in common ... a passed allied of the necromnacer, the soul at least, who is using the body."
The gnome clears her throat, "It's Prinhi, and those are some daunting ideas. You have history with the masked woman? There was... the jaw of a skull on it, her hair pale and her eyes were cold." Her eyes look off to another place as she speaks, "The dragonborn, an imposing tower with pale armour trimmed with dark grey and the human was dressed in robes over leathers for travel, they had many pockets. They all crowded around the robe figure... talking in a language that sounded neither pleasant or kind."
Quote from Loaniss>> You have history with the masked woman?
"Indeed." Wulcrath chimes in as he thinks back. "We had just stepped out of the cave when she attacked us, nearly taking all of us down Singlehandedly."
"A Man Named Gorr who had saved us once already stepped in just in time though." Wulcrath eyes light up a little as he remembers the frigid blast of cold air that saved him. "It was incredible, he froze her solid instantly..."
Prinhi raises her eyebrows at the story, "How fortunate. Where did this Gorr character come from? And where is he now? I feel it would have been nice if he was here to help... Bah, but here we are. Whatever you decide to do, you're welcome to stay here and gather your thoughts in peace and quiet."
Prinhi stands straight and her rabbit companion stands to attention, "I have to let people know what's going on, we're Caretakers of the land, but we're not one to sit by and allow such horrible things to take place. I'll be about if you need help or want to discuss." The gnome woman walks to a space and several forest creatures crowd over and listen to her whispering plans earnestly...
“I think I was hoping for more direction,” Bart says to the others. “I’m not sure how to keep pursuing this, or where we might go to find a way to save the poor girl whose soul we’ve got.”
"Hold on, now. Our goal is tae find an' end the necromancer who kidnaped us, not tae help the girl. I say we leave here the gem an' go search for 'em. The gnome said she saw 'em where they held us captive. Let's go there an' search the place, we didn't had the time before an' maybe we'll find a clue or two."
"True enough," Daffafle nods slowly. "Though do you think we'll be able to fend off these villains if we face them? We couldn't defeat the masked woman without Gareth's help...and if these individuals are even her equals, I'm not sure we'd be able to go against the lot of them."

“Yes, of course.” Bart settles in for Prinhi to do her work.

Khazan sighs heavily and sits down.
"If we 'ave tae. Thought our journey 'ere would give us some answers."
"Of course, that's fine." Wulcrath says, leaning forward in his seat, prepared to wait as he looks to the Caretakers rabbit, a bit confused...
Finally snapping herself out of her thoughts, Daffafle looks to the Caretaker. "Is there any way we can help? I have some knowledge in the arcane, though it is nowhere near your expertise."

Wulcrath looks back at Bart with a worried frown, and simply nods, before he leans back into his seat, slouching as he thinks...

"Me too." Wulcrath says looking down at his feet,, taking a moment to think. "I'm stumped..." He sighs out, sinking deeper into his seat, defeated.
"Hold on, now. Our goal is tae find an' end the necromancer who kidnaped us, not tae help the girl. I say we leave here the gem an' go search for 'em. “You... well, you’re probably right. Well seen, Khazan.” Bart nods a bit in surrender.

Wulcrath perks up a little as Khazan speaks. "It's certainly better than sitting here feeling sorry for ourselves."
