The small crowd stagger in the chilly night with a few whimpers of the cold on their bare arms and feet, but also the various corpses that lay around; some encased in ice like what was seen earlier close up, others are simply slumped over and still.
A man descends from the sky and lands to welcome them stopping them in their tracks, but he smiling showing of hands. He greats the liberators of the prisoners as the come to the front, "Ah, you finally made it. I was about to come and check in on you."
Suddenly there's a loud clattering of hooves.
"It's true?! They've been set free!" A woman wearing a bandanna over her mouth displaying fanged skeletal teeth. "Boys, deal with them!"
"I cannot allow that!" The smooth-talking hooded stranger from before outstretches his hands. The two lackey begin to float into the air against their volition with desperate cries as their weapons clang onto the cold ground.
"Idiots!" With a fine somersault, the bandit leader lands with her jagged daggers drawn. Her cold grey eyes flashing with malice, "I will send you to the master in pieces; it won't matter to him, regardless..."
Bart as you go to advance, you feel warm revitalising energy course through you and you are healed 11. You turn to see one of the prisoners with a hand upon you with a glowing amulet in their other closed hand. They gives you a reassuring nod before melding back into the now very frightened crowd...
