Alysa Dsais found lost in a book and steaming bowl next to her in the plain, small communal dining room of the shrine with the afternoon sun shining through the rectangular window.
Upon seeing Daffafleshe gasps, "Dear Daffafle. Whatever could have happened? Come close, hero." Her hand passes through the sunlight shining through the window and retains its glow as she places a warm hand on Daffafle's shoulder (and healing her 6)

Bartpokes his head from the large shaft seeing two guards now alert with spears. Upon seeing the half-elf they relax and allow everyone up, a look of disgust at the sight of what Khazanhas tied together in a macabre package...
“Thank you, priestess,” Daffafle bows her head in respect. “Aazel and I discovered a passageway beneath the unknown grave, likely how the body...dead or undead, escaped. My paladin friend has gone off in search of the other members of our group to further explore this. While waiting for his return, a strange darkness befell the area, and a nasty swarm of bats emerged from the hole, attacking me and killing Lucky,” the halfling pauses for a moment. “Were you aware of any underground tunnels beneath the temple? I imagine they’ve been here for some time.”

“Oh good, you’re here! Guardsmen, there appears to be something of a problem down there. We’re happy to deal with it, but we’d like our weapons back and we’d like to gather up our other friend first. Any chance you could wait right here, and we’ll come back?”
Bart stands there with zombie smell all over him, but acts like it’s just any other day
Aazel check the ghoul talking to Khazan as he does so. “Daffafle and I found something suspicious at the graveyard. A tunnel under one of the graves. I was coming to get you guys to help check it out when I caught up with you. I wonder if the two are connected some way.” Aazel looks past where the corpse was, wondering if the two locations joined up.
Wulcrath snuffs out his Torch and faces the guards.
"Yes, what Bart said is correct, we're willing to investigate this, but we need our weapons first, would it be alright if you were to give them back to us?"
He looks to the door behind them before looking at the guards themselves, waiting for an answer from them, and wondering where Daffafle has gone...
"Aye, its possible. But we need tae go deeper if we are tae find out. We also need tae regroup an' get Daffafle. Poor lass on her own." Throws the tied up corpse to one of the guards and dusts off his hands "You take this thin' tae yer lady. Wonder what she'll say when she sees what was hiding under 'er beloved daughter's room." He then starts going off the room, headed to the graveyard. "I'm going tae get the halfing, ya stay here an' watch out nothin' come out of the hole."
Alysalooks shocked with a mouthful of butternut squash soup on bread. After a moment she stands, "Pelor's grace, you have?! Would you care to show me, dear halfling? We may have to descend and the purge such evils with Pelor's light."

The stern guard's brow tenses even further, "I knew this talk of foul magic was easy all too easily... Of course, this clearly lies outside the norm and you have proven yourselves already." The guard's brow lightens, but an unfortunate scar across the forehead makes his face look as if it's always scowling. "Fedson, get these men they're weapons."
Fedson salutes before making a hasty exit, returning after a moment with a simple looking satchel. He gives the correct weapons to Wulcrath and Bartbefore stating, "Hedge went to catch up with the dwarf to give his axes."
Fedson then empties a nearby chest of papers, books and treasures and looks away the remains.

As Khazanstrides, he hears a man calling after and quickly catch up.
"Phew... Your axes, sir... You've been given permission to carry them into.... around, due to... circumstances." He holds out the axes to the dwarf, looking around looking all shifty before giving a nod and running back to his post.
Wulcrath takes his weapons and attaches his Sheild back to his arm, letting out a content sigh as he checks it a bit, before putting his sword back in it's scabbard, and attaching his Crossbow to the belt at his waist.
"Thank you very much gentlemen, I'm sure this job is hard enough without having to keep an eye on extra pounds of steel."
He turns to Bart as he waits for him to get his own things.
"When you're ready, we oughta go get Daffafle right?"

“This way,” Daffafle begins walking towards the passageway entrance, keeping an eye on the priestess and gauging her reaction. “You hadn’t heard of these tunnels before?”
((Just confirming we are leaving the guards to watch the tunnel?))
”Follow me. Hopefully She hasn’t gone exploring on her own if something like this may be down there.”Aazel leads the others as quickly as he can back to the graveyard.
To Daffafle, Alysa's concern for this eerie discovery is genuine as she grabs a belt of pouches and sheathes a mace.
They make it to the graveyard, both looking at the grave... Only to hear the thudding of running footsteps. They turn to see the arrival of Khazan, and his axes.
“Khazan!” Daffafle frowns a bit as she glances behind him, seeing no one else. “Did Aazel find you? Where are he and the others? We’re on to something pretty serious here about our necromancy problem.”
"Aazel with's the others, we've found a tunnel in Lady's Mylene house. Aazel think it might be connected ta the one ye found. I'm here tae take ye there."
He turns to the person near Daffafle.
"Nasty things hide in those tunnels. It'd be better tae stay away fer a while"
“Oh!” Daffafle’s eyes widen slightly at the news. “The plot thickens.” The halfling turns to Alysa, “Priestess, perhaps you and some of the others at the temple should guard this entrance while we explore the other, possibly the same, tunnel.” She nods to Khaz, “Lead the way.”
Alysa frowns a little, "Dwarfish champion, I appreciate your protective suggestion. But this graveyard is my charge, and I will not fail it again. As a vessel of Pelor's light, I will guide and shine it in the darkest of places, especially defiled crevices under our blessed land we call home - my fellow acolytes can look after the land. Let me come with you, or I go on my own." She reaches for her symbol of Pelor.
“No need for drastic measures, Priestess,” Daffafle holds her hands up a bit, glancing between Khaz and Alysa. “Certainly you’d be a welcome addition for our exploration. Right Khaz?”

“Agreed. Lead on Aazel.”

Khazan turns and start walking back to the farm
