OOC: Battle is on: roll initiative, if you'd please. I rolled a 1... pathetic - must be taking over from those other poor rollers, as my last one was a 2!
Naivara pushes open the door to the awaiting Redbrands. In the heat of the moment, she is only able to take a cursory view of the room before need to focus on those in front of here. The room is partitioned into three areas, with iron bars walling off the north and the south. There are several prisons, one to the north and two in the southern area. There also appears to be only two Redbrands, both of which are flanking the door.
"Thought that'd work," says the main talker, who you now see for the first time - he is not an unpleasant creature to look upon, although his personality clearly does not match his appearance. "Nothing like... Oof!" Naivara cuts off the rest of what he was about to say with a solid blow to his side. Redbrand loses 5 hitpoints during the attack.
Swift moves back up the corridor to the others. She steps around Virran to can get full sight through the door. She raises her bow and aims it at a redbrand she can see through the doorway. She whispers her hunters mark mantra before loosing the arrow... “I see you, I mark you, may my arrow find you”....
(OOC: Ok, so the battle is on against the two Redbrands. Naivara, you have made an attack but still have room to move. Should you choose to move, there may be an Opportunity of Attack, but currently no one else can get through the door to support you. How did you want to play this?
Moved over to the Eastern wall of the room, as on Roll 20.
Naivara gives a smile to the child hostage cowering on the other side of the bars.
“Help has arrived, friend. You no longer need to be afraid, these horrible men here won’t be around much longer. We are getting you out of here.” She whispers.
She meets the eyes of Mirna, sharing a sorrowful look. She is happy to see her alive, though sorry for all she has been through. The loss of loved ones is hard. It won’t be long before she can now pass on Thel’s necklace...
The battle started and victims to win over, Asmodean joins the fray. Moving up behind Stig, the bard scrambles onto the end of the sarcophagus, then bends low. He pulls out his two daggers, lines up the shot, then throws two daggers in quick succession (aiming for the Redbrand to the north of the door).

The bard, not wanting his new audience to be displeased with his performance, scores two stunning shots. The knives arc end-over-end to sink solidly into his flesh of his throat, killing him with a bloody gurgle.
Seeing this, the other draws his second sword and moves a little further from the door.
Stig moves into the room and attacks the Redbrand to the south of the door, conscious of not blocking the view/access of anyone else following him in. He strikes at the foe with his hammer.

Virran starts moving back towards the skeleton room stopping just at the corner of the corridor.
He peers around the corner as naivara rushes forward.
Probably would have been better for them to have come to us. Too late now
Virran unsheathed his daggers and readies himself
NightHawke prepares herself for battle and brings out her weapon and shield.

OOC... may not be able to use hunters mark. If it takes a spell slot then I’ve already used it. Not sure if it takes a spell slot.

As Naivara moves, the second Redbrand, seeing an opportunity, takes a swing at the Elf as she moves away.
Attack: 12 Damage: 4
Not surprised but this, Naivara is ready and easily dodges out of the way while the Redbrand struggles to remove the sword from its sheath.
