The Exploits of Misfit Company

Obsidian looks up at Kasha with a perplexed look, as if saying, "That's a RIGHT triangle, you idiot."

"JhR!" Kasha grunts in embarrassment and takes off her glasses, putting them away.

"Hmn?" Bixby looks down at last from the red glow, and furrows his brows at Alys. But upon noting the direction of her staring he silently makes 'o' with his mouth, before stepping over to have a closer look. Preferring his own tonics over the blessing, but not denying her help at the very least, he downs a strange liquid before setting to work on the door with his assistant.

Arcana(DC 18): 27.

With Alys' help, Bixby is easily able to hit the glyphs in the correct order and open the pyramid up without triggering any traps. The way to the temple opens, revealing a grand chamber with a staircase at the other end. As you enter the room, the door slams shut behind you, plunging the pyramid into darkness once more. You hear a disembodied voice booming.

"I DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE, BUT YOU WILL NOT STOP ME. I WILL RETURN. I WILL ESCAPE THIS PRISON. AND I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!" 

When the voice stops talking, you hear the sound of thousands upon thousands of little legs clacking. Those of you with darkvision see scarab beetles flooding into the room, pincers snapping. One of you will need to make a DC20 Survival check to navigate out of this room or take 20 damage as they eat your flesh.

RAID!! 24

Kasha quickly leapt on Yvans back and like a steed, directed him, and thus, everyone else, deeper inside to safety.

“Bugs are friends, too, everyone! Watch your step! Move move move!”

Kasha is able to successfully find a way to get to the stairs and get away from the swarm.

"WELL DONE. BUT YOU ARE SORELY MISTAKEN IF YOU THINK THAT WAS IT."

Suddenly five statues that bear the form of humans with the heads of dogs come floating towards you, their eyes glowing an ominous shade of green.

"ORIGINALLY THESE WERE SUPPOSED TO SERVE AS DEFENSES TO KEEP ME IMPRISONED. BUT THE CENTURIES HAVE GIVEN ME A WAY TO MAKE THEM USEFUL FOR ME."

“These guys are not friends. Yvan.” Kasha says seriously, patting your cheek then putting on her goggles. “Throw me.”

Harpoonsha: 21

Yvan slipped on his goggles of the night once they entered the pyramid, interested at what wonders would be inside. The booming voice and the slamming of the entrance door didn't surprise him, what did was the feeling of Kasha climbing onto him like a spider monkey and directing him on where to go. Seeing as this was working for their benefit in making sure they got out of this hallway safely, he willingly goes with it.

Once the voice echos again, the barbarian grumbles something incoherent, then reaches for Kasha once she gives him the go ahead. "Operation Harpoonsha initiated."

Shit. He's gonna chuck me. I'm not prepared. I didn't think this far ahead. I thought I was just gonna steer him. I don't know what to turn into. Why did he say Operation Harpoonsha? "Allow us then to return them to the status quo... after a fashion." Bixby replied. Regardless of whether the voice could hear it or not, he bit into a thumb to draw just enough blood as to scatter it into the air. "Let what you were once were become a shackle to your foolish selves now." He intones, causing the blood to expand and congeal about at least of the guardians to restrict their movements. Looking to the others next and seeing Yvan prepared to do something 'odd', Bixby frowns ever so slightly, and yet calls out, "Yvan... You got this. Make sure to aim for the thickest of them." He encourages in his on way.

Action: Cast (2nd level)Corrupt Fortune on CA4, CA5, CA3, and CA1. Charisma Save(DC 16).

Bonus Action: Bardic Inspiration(d6) to Yvan.

Obsidian hops onto Kasha and assists her with...whatever this shit is.

Stella glances at Bix as he calls encouragement, and a slight smile appears on her face before she launches herself at CorruptedAnubis5.

Kasha holds on to Obsidian as she sails through the air like a paper airplane, shielding the ***** cat when she sees the incoming green energy bolt that hits her. It hurt bad, as indicated by that "OWCH!!!" she barked mid air. 

"I think it's dino time!!!" she yelled into Obsidian's ear, who gave her a look as if to say, "Again? You gotta cast polymorph and then that's your turn, unless the blonde one who likes the big one, or whatever, wants to cast it for you, but then she loses her turn an-"

"I'm gonna do it!!" she screamed, interrupting him. "Hold on!!"

Obsidian held on.

"Ow!!" she cried. "Nails! Nails!!

"I'm sorry, i'm a cat!!"

Reaction: Cast (1st level)Shield with Psychic Sorcery to remove... (DC 1:6) all components of the spell.

Bixby neither moves or blinks as the beam comes careening for him. He just looks to it, and watches at the very last second the beam scatters dissipates off some unseen barrier.

Raising a hand in the air, the blonde will call down a Fireball onto the pack of nubis'. (intending to hit them before melee gets in there...)

Dex 16 for half this damage: 35.

"We can just pretend we didn't see anything..." She'll whisper to Stella.

Yvan had harpooned Kasha without thinking much about it, having hopes that the druid had understood to transform during the throw to surprise their attackers that she wasn't just some small obstacle that got thrown their way. She got it eventually though, a bit later than he had hoped. "I should talk about that next time with her..." He murmurs, making a mental note.

He pretends that he doesn't see Stella's great attempt as to not embarrass her further as he hoists his greatsword in his hands, also waiting for the casters to cast their spells prior to entering into the frey himself. At Bixby's words, the goliath looks back to the changeling with a smirk tugged at the corner of his lip, giving him a nod in acknowledgment and says, "Thanks."

 The barbarian teleports into the thick of it and brings down his sword onto one of the Anubis(4 if you wanna be specific)!
