The Exploits of Misfit Company

If the castle had a massive door like some of them do, Kashasaurus would run up to it as fast as she could and head butt it down. If it didn't bust down on the first attempt, she would shake her head, slowly back up, and keep ramming until the door gave way, or she fell unconscious from brain damage.

If the castle didn't have a door, she would simply roar in triumph into the air. If there were bodies to eat, she would take her time and devour them all in a most loud and messy fashion. She would then catch up with everyone if they walked inside the castle.

Kashasaurus is able to break down the door. You step into the vast entry hall of a castle, with staircases heading up and down, and hallways leading off in all directions. "Alys, you said that you saw your mother being trapped in some underground chamber, correct?"

Bixby had nodded along in agreement before, but would take a moment to at least play a note meant mend at least some of his wounds. Then again, the space about him distorts for a few moments as potential magical power is psionically converted into ... something less tangible. "If it is, best to have a light source for our less fortunate friends ready." Bixby chimed in as he looked to Stella.

As Kasha worked at devouring her meals and breaking down the door, Alys would have spent the time to focus her mind on mending those she could. She'd start with Bixby. And as she tended his wounds, she was contemplating suggesting a short rest when Vastra would prompt her for her mother's location.

Alys would swallow, closing her eyes to relive her dream over yet once again. She'd try to focus on the panning out of her dream, seeing if it zoomed out of an underground area. "Y-Yes..." She'd stutter.

Once Kashasaurus had perhaps settled into the other room, the elf would join her. Alys would look up to try to make eye contact with at least one of her massive eyes. She'd reach out to her with both arms wide. Should she be comfortable with her presence and touch, the elf would do her best to embrace the druid before beginning an attempt at dinomending.

Satiated for now, Kashasaurus would stomp around smelling the air, trying to pick out the scent of something that, perhaps, had a similar smell to Alys. She would bump her large snoot into Alys, trying not to knock her over and sniffed deeply against her, then returned her head to the air and sniffed. She would sniff the ground like a hound looking for something. If she picked anything up, she would lumber in the direction of the smell.

Alys couldn't help but let out a soft giggle as Kasha huffed her scent. With her deep inhales the air around her swept by and tickled the elf. Underneath the familiar scent of their home garden and her herbs, Alys herself, her skin, smelled sweet, like a mix of an apple and peach orchard.

With the last guardian slain, Yvan takes a breath and represses his rage. As Kasha breaks down the door and Alys does her rounds, the goliath's gaze his held where the spectral spirits once stood. "Rest now," He says quietly. "You all fought well." When it was his turn to be patched up, he watches Alys do her work, mentally going through the steps in his mind, then promptly thanks her when it is done. 

He follows behind the others when they enter inside the castle, looking at the various entrances and hallways there was only to then keep his gaze on Kashasaurus and Alys. There's a soft smile at forms at his lips watching the two interact, how gentle Kasha was to her even in that gigantic form, and how careful Alys was in mending her wounds. Before he is caught staring, he shakes himself out of it and says, "I... suppose we go down then...?"

Kashasaurus does indeed pick up a scent as she sniffs Alys.The scent takes you all downstairs and into a twisting, weaving hallway that's filled with mirrors.

Her snoot hit the ground and like a vacuum cleaner to the ground, sniffed rapidly following the trail. For a bit, Obsidian let Kashajurassic go down the stairs to follow the scent.

She thundered down the stairs, smelling and huffing and nose to the ground. When they entered the room, she sniffed the air and tried to pick up the scent again. She checked behind her to see if the others followed. 

Yvan looks to be very uncomfortable in this hallway.

Just as equally uncomfortable, if not moreso, Bixby largely keeps his eyes on the stairs themselves, and that of the legs of whoever happened to be right in front of him. It even got to the point of the changling absently flexing his fingers, or subtly making twisting motions. Even so, he continued to follow along without a word or ever reaching to hold something to at least suppress the compulsion.

Yvan: As you pass through the hall, you notice that everyone's reflections are turning to look at them when they aren't looking at the mirror. Stella's reflection in particular notices you, draws her rapier, and jumps out of the mirror, ready to attack you!
