(Xanlanann tries to attack with his Rapier, but the Goblin manages to parry and knock Xan's Rapier away! It goes clanging 10 feet away. Xanlanann tries to attack the Goblin with his Dagger as well, but the swipe misses.
The Serious Goblin no longer has a bow, but takes out his Rapier and tries to go after Xanlanann since he doesn't have his Rapier!)
Attack: 9 Damage: 6
(Xanlanann manages to use his Rougeish dexterity to avoid the Serious Goblin's attack.
The other Goblin takes another shot at Walton with his Bow!)
Attack: 20 Damage: 6
(The arrow flies wide, not really being a danger to anyone.)
Fredrick, you're up.
DMs note: Sorry guys, just bad luck, but you all have only managed to kill a single Goblin. Just the way the dice crumbles sometimes.
Walton grasps his holy symbol from his neck, holding it out towards the goblin as he chants some manner of holy incantation. A burst of holy flames appears at the goblin's feet, burning with a radiant light!
(Sacred Flame: DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or take 7 Radiant damage.)
(Xanlanann improvises without his Rapier and pulls out his other dagger. The Serious Goblin seems to be distracted by both the Erhorn's mind games and Walton's mere presence, and does not see the Dagger until it is too late. Pank, son of Morg, draws his last breath and dies.)
Fredrick, you're up. There is only 1 goblin left, but it is unhurt.
(Sorry for the delay people, I've been rather sick over the Christmas and with all the other hectic things the holidays throw at you, I haven't been able to get on.)
Frederick fistbumps the air as the serious goblin falls. With renewed vigour, and a need to get this battle done and over with so that they could find the girl, Frederick takes aim on the remaining goblin. He fires, aiming for the heart, gritting his teeth with determination.
(Emboldened by the group's fight, Frederick aims his arrow and finishes the job as the final Goblin is slain with ruthless efficiency.
As you all get your bearings, you look around the dark room. There's the hallway behind you from where you came, the Northern wall, where there seems to be some carvings on the wall, the Southern wall that looks plain, and the Eastern wall which looks to be covered in vines. The brazier is on a platform and is giving off some faint light.)
What do you do?

Walton dusts himself off after the combat is said and done, placing his mace back at his belt. He approaches the carvings to take a closer look, and try and figure out what exactly they are.
Erhorn walks straight over to Pank's corpse, nudges him in the shoulder with a foot a couple of times and sighs.
"Silly little bugger. Should have chosen the cake," he mutters, cryptically.
He wanders over to the platform with the brazier, gives it a suspicious look, and then looks around for Frederick.
"Hey. Shooty-man-who-I-can't-remember-the-name-of. Would you mind shooting the brazier?" He gives a winning smile. "I'm terrible at names. Thought you should know."
"Those carvings. Let me see them." Frederick moves towards the northern wall, next to where Walton is, placing his bow behind his back as he walks. "I don't suppose it's in Goblin, eh?" He hoped they were. He'd be able to read them, and perhaps they could give the group some hint on how to progress.
Regardless of the outcome of whether or not Frederick comes to understand the carvings, the next thing he does is look over at the brazier, an eyebrow raised at the request. "Why would you have me fire on this brazier that has not hurt a fly, Erhorn?" He asks, slightly amused. "Or are you suggesting that this brazier is nefariously playing the part of an innocent, hiding its true motives from us?"
(Fredrick and Walton are drawn to the carvings on the wall.
As you inspect the North Wall, you see that the carvings are pretty large and seem to depict several different scenes that show what appears to be an order of knights in several battles. In one of them, the knights are shown defeating what appears to be an army of Goblins, led by a particularly vicious looking, larger Goblin. The next carving shows the knights standing victorious over a field of dead Goblin bodies. As you see one of the other depictions, they show a huge Dragon terrorizing a village, burning homes and killing innocent villagers with vicious fire. The next mural shows the knights slaying the Dragon. The knights are all shown with matching insignia on their armor and shields.
As you go further along the northern wall, following and inspecting the murals, you see a large carving of a very regal-looking knight. His armor looks more intricate than the rest, making you all think he might have been the leader or founder. Underneath, the name 'Sextus Varius' is inscribed. Next to him, there is a further inscription that reads as follows:
"I pledge to serve law, protect the innocent, battle the agents of chaos, and never reveal the secrets of the Delian Order. My word is my bond, my life and honor is for the order, for this night and all nights to come."
This seems to be the extent of what is on the northern wall.)
Xanlanann returns one dagger to his belt and the other to his boot, then walks over and grabs his rapier from the floor. "That could have gone better" he says under his breath with a sigh, "but at least I'm still alive." He takes a quick look round and sees the 2 heading for the north wall, so he decides to take a look at the brazier to see if anything looks abnormal or out of place, as well as making a general sweep for traps
If anything, Frederick's reply gains him a patient, long-suffering look from Erhorn. Well, that's the expression on the unburned side of his face.
"If that is what it takes to get you to shoot the brazier, then yes. Yes, that is indeed what I'm suggesting. It is definitely innocent, and therefore needs shooting immediately." He pauses and pats his pockets. "If I were going to trap anything in this room, it would be the brazier on a platform that vaguely resembled an altar. I'd trap it with confetti, but then again I'm probably more benign than most trap-makers." He pauses in his pocket-patting, a look of consideration on his face. "Or perhaps I'm more subtly malevolent. It's got to be one of them, right?"
(Xanlanann performs a perfunctory sweep of the area, looking for anything that might trigger a trap of sorts, but finds nothing. He also inspects the Brazier. It appears to be bronze, about 3 feet in diameter, and very old. The Goblins seem to have been using it to cook their meals, as there are fresh ashes, including some barely glowing embers.
Everyone takes stock of their injuries. 3/4 of you have sustained some damage. There are 4 dead Goblins in the room, and no visible way out other than the way you came in.
What do you all do?
DMs note: Erhorn, just reminding you that you have a Tinder Box if you want to use it.

Walton scratches his chin in thought as he observes the murals, his curiosity caught by this "Delian Order" and its leader. He always considered himself a historian, albeit not a skilled one, and he always had fancied the many tales of knight's orders and brave heroes. Poring through his knowledge, Walton tries to recall any sort of details of this particular order.
Xanlanann runs up and attacks the goblin that is next to his companion cleric, and attacks with his rapier and dagger

"This could have gone so much better." Frederick growls through gritted teeth, as he lines up another shot, firing an arrow at the serious goblin.
Attack: 14 Damage: 7

Pank's outburst and the conviction in his tone causes Erhorn to frown and start the gestures necessary for Eldritch Blast.
Awakened Mind to Pank:
You won't serve?
Erhorn unleashes his Eldritch Blast toward Pank (To-Hit: 13 Damage: 2)
Awakened Mind to Pank:
Then get out of my Tomb, or die. I care not which you do.
Erhorn's intention is to make the Goblin uncertain enough to spread discord.
(Pank hears Erhorn's taunts and seems to get a bit angry. He manages to dodge Erhorn's Eldritch Blast just in the nick of time.)
