"Mizin? Oh, he got sent to see the boss in Skullport, since he won the sword. Dunno if he'll get posted back here, or if he's gonna get some cushy position somewhere else. Was a right nice sword too, all glowy"
Taj's ears prick at the words "Din’ like fire". Fire is an element with which she seems to have a natural affinity. But first, she must regain her strength. She curls up on the floor, tail over her nose, and closes her eyes, trusting the others to keep watch.
The Bugbears shuffle you into a smaller side room - with both groups feeling rather uneasy about each other, they’d rather you not get a closer look at them. It’s a small room, with a smallish black stone statue broken into fist-sized chunks. "We don't know if it patrols alone or in company of others. Might be a good idea to set up at a choke point somewhere and scout around, hopefully drawing it to us. I will go face-to-face with it and hopefully pin it down. Then we will destroy it as quickly as possible and withdraw here."
"That is a sound plan but if it is able to overpower you then it would be problematic for you. I will cover you from range as that is where my skills will best be put to use. If possible to would not be a bad idea to place traps of some sort of even if only to hinder it." Maruck says as he goes over things to ask the other goblinoids in his head.

“hey, you done now? I wanna sleep, and you’re using my bed. The Undertakers are north of us - head back through the mirrors and take the northern stairs. Don’t go left. Bring me a bit of it to prove it’s dead, and you’ll get your guide”

Taj blanches at the memory. Despite the rest, she still feels weakened by the encounter.
