"Eee!" Jaeson's eyes widen with shock as he jumps with fright, the box flying out of his hand momentarily. He scrambles to regain his grip on the item, eventually managing to do so. He turns to Tibby, his cheeks puffed, and a little scarlet. "Ahem. Didn't scare me one bit."
You find a few interesting things in box made out of what looks like thick paper, or more like several sheets of thick paper glued together, very light compared to the thickness of the material. On the outside is printed the words Wals mart...inside the box are several intriguing devices that appear to have something to do with cookery. Measuring cups, measuring spoons. But one thing catches your eye more then the others. A strangely formed jar made out of a brown material sort of like glass, but not. Its has a label glued to it in a weird dialect of common. You think is says " Larry's Seasoned Salt". If you take a sniff its smell very good. You put a little of it on your finger to taste, ready to spit it out if it tastes like poison, and you are ecstatic with the burst of flavor in your mouth. You instantly think of several different recipes where this magic seasoning would shine and it's a pretty good sized bottle, should last a long time...chicken, beef, pork and even fish would be amazing with this stuff

Noa shook his head as they entered the town. Having been razed, he was surprised the buildings were more or less intact and managed to get the wagon and their mounts inside a big enough structure. He immediately sprang into action and took it upon himself to find them a suitable building they could hide in and observe the immediate area at the same time.
"We should find the shrine and see what orcs we're dealing with. Every bit of information on the enemy is critical seeing as we're... Well, just us." Noa gestured at their party. "Vantage points would be our advantage in this area. I imagine the shrine would not be the same however. Perzy'S, do you think we can lure orcs into traps just to thin the horde? Numbers are bound to be against us..."
He stopped and looked at his companions when he realized he may have spoken a little too much in terms of tactics.
"What? I may not look the part but I did serve in a levied army before."
Skip would excitedly pick up the jar and carry it up to the front of the shop and hand it to the goblin. "I would like to purchase this please!" The heavy set halfling would say with a smile. "I don't have a lot of coin but I do have a few books and tools I could trade you... They aren't anything like what you are selling though.." Skip would say as he goes to reach into his bag and pulls out the three herb books he had taken from the attic of the mill and some gardening tools.. "Also, if it isn't too much trouble... since you seem incredibly smart and know much more about magical items than I do... would you mind telling me a little bit about these? "Skip would ask as he places the three red potions, the one green potion, and his own spoon on the counter next to the goblin. As the goblin looks through the items, Skip would give Tibby 10g, Yessica 10g, and He would give Jaeson 10 gold and the opal, and the gold filling. "This should help you all make your purchases I would hope. I found it on the corpses of those bandits we killed. Also when our new friend here tells me what these potions do, you can each have one of them as well..." Skip would add with a smile.

"Brahg, you say? I am glad to discover I was not taken off-guard by some nameless ruffian! Your commendations are unnecessary, friend, but not unappreciated. My duty calls for my service, and the strength of my arm shall always answer. Thank you, as well, for your help with our new...mercenaries, I suppose."Kuori appraises the five goblins as they go about their assigned tasks, listening to Perzy'S all the while. Clearly, goblins are not the breed of soldier-for-hire that Kuori would prefer, but it is most often unwise to ignore opportunity when it lands it lands directly in one's path. They've already "self-managed" the rogue element in their coterie, so perhaps this would prove to be for the best. This hopefulness did not translate to any particular affection for the little green monsters from the Goliath soldier.
"Striking the raiders while they look for their next bit of plunder? That's as sound a plan as I've yet heard, ranger - I must agree with your suggested course. My apologies that my combat with Brahg prevents us from learning any more of his orders. I will endeavor to be more selective in our future conflicts with these raiders." As Bree begins her preparations for the meal to be shared this evening, Kuori would do her best to butcher the pig in whatever manner the Halfling chef deems appropriate. Upon the discovery of the chest's contents, Kuori would recommend splitting it as evenly as possible (save for the rations and water, as its consumption should be common sense to any member of the group). If this is acceptable to the others, she will take her share of 39gp (leaving 37gp each for the other three), 75sp, 250cp, and 3 of the gems.
When the goblins return with the loot from Brahg's corpse, Kuori takes a special interest in the gold ring, trying to determine if she recalls seeing elements of the engravings anywhere else in her travels. If Possible, Investigation: 10[OOC: Let me know if it would be a different roll!]
Seeing the wanted poster but not recognizing the individual it depicts, Kuori would bring it before the others as dinner was about to be served. "Is there any chance that you three have come across this individual on any of your travels up to this point? I would be shocked if we came across them any time soon, considering the dangers we will be facing, but it would be wise to commit the appearance to memory."As dinner is served, Kuori receives the goblins' catering services with cold indifference, given that the wounds from their arrows are still fresh in both memory and body. The food does a great deal of work towards warming her attitude, however. "I see no reason for you nor any of the others to have been so worried about this meal, Bree Hill. The beast has been prepared perfectly! Thank you for sharing your talents with us so that we might rest even easier from the day's hardships."Kuori spends the rest of the dinner in relative quiet, but out of contentment, as opposed to any anger or melancholy.
Shortly thereafter, she does her part in helping to load the wagon, taking no small pleasure in the respect being shown to her by their new conscripts. While she does not lord it over any one of them, she doesn't hesitate to order them hither and thither to load the wagon as efficiently as possible. As she does so, she responds to Noa's shock at her statement from earlier. "Yes, there is enough rumor of a dragon making its lair within Ice Spire that I argued with my superiors for months that reconnaissance should be performed in the area, but only very recently managed to convince them that I was the right soldier for the mission. My "debates" with my elders seemed to be a particularly sensitive matter when they decided to officially grant me my moniker." She scowls at the memory and mumbles to herself for a moment before clearing it from her thoughts and finally loading herself into the wagon before the group moved onward. Kuori couldn't help but almost giggle at the sight of Bree astride her mighty steed, but stifled the laughter post-haste, so as not to cast any dispersion upon this, the late Hobgoblin Chief's aide.
As they ride toward Conyberry, Kuori takes the time that the others are spending using their full energy to scout, drive, and ride toward their destination to finally let her muscles relax from their earlier strain and injury. She winces somewhat as she sinks into her chosen seat and during this moment her eyes lock onto the odd but strikingly well-crafted offering left next to her. She lifts it to her eyes with a degree of care that is likely shocking to these creatures who have seen this massive woman display nothing more than brutality and bravado in the brief time they've known her. For Kuori, the gift is a confusing one. Trophies are a well-respected and encouraged aspect of Clan Thuliaga's culture and a common display of warriors' prowess. At the same time, this was not won, but freely given - by a goblin, no less! With her brow furrowed, her eyes scan the diminutive retinue before her and very quickly settle on one that looks particularly bashful. Perhaps it was the shade of red the goblin began to turn, or even simply the hour at which this took place, but Kuori's gaze softened slightly and she relaxed once more into her seat. Attempting to make eye contact with the goblin artisan all the while, she removes her right gauntlet and gingerly places the bracelet around her wrist before replacing the gauntlet over it - no need to risk it being destroyed or lost during combat, she decided. If she manages to catch the goblin's eyes at any point during the short process, she will give a very small nod and the barest hint of a smile before closing her eyes and letting the rhythm of the wagon's progress calm her on their way to Conyberry.
Her eyes snap open as the wagon slows and comes to a stop. Kuori exits over the side of the wagon and takes in the razed settlement. "[Giant: Orcs and their damned barbarism. To the Hells with them all.] A terrible shame, the fate that befell this place."Noa's surprisingly quick assessment of the situation brings a proud smile to her face. "Well, not a violent man, perhaps, but certainly a capable one. Excellent thinking all around, Noa Gala-Vahn. I must admit that, unfortunately, I'm in no state to be caught in a fight without a significant rest, so I would say that our first and immediate priority should be locating a building with both height and a dependable structure within its walls."

"Since we were attacked once nearby can we assume that these woods are unfriendly for travellers?"Daishi speaks to Falcon, waits a moment and then continues. "Do you have anything to aid us in case we run into more trouble - perhaps potions or scrolls? We could return them if they are not used."

He does not look ashamed or worried about the situation he has just described.
All the cards on the table. If he chooses to stay with me, he's in this for good and for bad.
Falcon, I know from my sources you are aware already of my predicament. Still, I hate to tempt a man to do something foolish. Anyll needs to know, or his loyalty means nothing.
"Skip..." Jaeson took the money graciously, jingle the pieces around in his hand. "Thank you kindly." With that, he took the box with his name on it to the Xan. "So, how much for the box?" Jaeson asked. He would still have to open it and check what was inside. Would probably be best to save that for when the group were resting or something.

To Yessica, " and for the Dark beauty, the ring is unknown to me but I have a sense it is your destiny to have it, so the price for this you will be a small lock of your gorgeous hair."

She makes a conscious effort to station the goblin who made her bracelet at the entryway closest to her. If any of them is going to be particularly diligent in making sure I'm not taken by surprise, it will be him.
Kuori is going to attempt to Rest. (Short, at least, Long if Possible)
Xam, showing a sign of frustration at Tibby attempt to circumvent the process, waves his hand on the signature block and the magically created signature disappears.
