"The pillars have a blessing?" Adray asks aloud. He snaps his head over and looks at them. "Maybe... the bridge we crossed yesterday had a blessing and it destroyed the devils. Maybe these pillars just need to be jump started as well."
Adray will approach the nearest pillar and investigate it for clues.
Investigation 20
Ooc: My bad for not refreshing before posting.
What should have been said is, "Nibs is right, ill take a closer look at the pillars."
Choir will follow Ordrag and Adray. She lights up her mace brightly to try to illuminate the room better. At the mention of the bridge, she looks closely at the columns and the room, and at Ordrag's suggestion, she will try the bridge prayer to Torm again, hoping it works on columns as well as bridges.

Ordrag and Adray are NOT inside the room yet - they are on the patio (if they did entered the room and not observing from the entrance - tell me about it).
Thinking a bit, Adray is not sure anymore that just the prayer to Torm is what would make blessing to present itself. But the heroes, those columns represent, you think something about them may be the key.

The kind of 'heroes' that appear in the stories sailors tell are vastly different to the ones depicted on the columns, and Ordrag chuckles as he imagines some of these noble knights getting up to the same sorts of antics.
Fran would have been find and ready to continue along with Ordrag, Lulu and Adray. She would follow along with Brutus at her side. Her ears would perk when Lulu would mention a blessing within the pillars, and sure enough it wasn’t just her attention it caught. The artificer would put her hands on her hips, keeping a look out while they investigated them. Should it be still relevant, she’d be happy to provide any helpful insight she may have.

Polly will follow as well, feeling rejuvenated from the fight rather then tiers. Her magic had not been this powerful in a long while. She walks up with Adrey and look the pillars over.

Both learned girls managed to put 2 and 2 together, linked the faces with the names and loudly call each hero. Each time they pronounced a name, the respected column begun to shine softly. From the big hall ahead you could hear (or may be more like feel) an angry rustle or moan. Something was definitely in that hall, still hiding and waiting.
"Lulu, you seem well versed in holy magics. Can you tell if the shining pillars are doing anything? Cleansing the temple, providing protection, anything?" Adray calls out.
Lulu made several circles around two columns resembling a dancing overgrown bumblebee and confidently declared "Positively blessed! No undead can touch them!"
The light from column auras was covering about 5ft space. No undead, though, tried at the moment to enter or exit the Chapel to test the idea.

"With this," Adray said pointing at the pillars, "we shouldn't have to worry about our flanks going in. So there is at least that much. And, it may give us a slight safe spot should we need to retreat." Satisfied, "We move but careful, Lulu warned us of something here."

Someone had to get inside, of course, and from outside - from the threshold of the room - there was nothing too frightening, aside of thick shadows. But the moment Choir stepped inside, she felt that otherworldly cold only ghostly apparitions can enact. It would be a welcoming change from the choking hot air outside, if not for the sense of horror the cold brought as well.
From the corners of the left part of the Chapel, three pairs of dreadful spirits emerged, reeking of death, and begun to move slowly towards Choir. Through the arch on the other wall you can see a silhouette resembling the Minotaur skeleton you just fought but it did not step inside.
