Demon was a bit too heavy to push but he grinned at the slap. "Oh, you playful thing." He winked and Polly felt a smack on her behind. "Polly, is it? I think I like your full name better - Pollymorpha... Find me when you are free. Old Fetchtatter knows a thing or two about good time." He did not bother to ask permission for telepathic speech or the mind reading. By now educated among you could remember the name of these kind of devils - arcanaloth, and his helpers were obvious chain devils .
Ordrag's question interrupted the pleasant conversation (or may be added to the excitement) and the devil enthusiastically jumped to his feet. "I'll show you." (Interesting detail - you noticed that that terrible aura around the sibriex did not seem to bother any of the guard/torturers here) Fetchtatter raised its speaking horn and yelled to the sibriex: “Tell me everything you know about . . ." (he looked at the party) "what is it you wanted? Ah! Tell me everything you know about Zariel's sword!” The chain devils snapped fingers in unison and free ends of the chains sprout razor-edged barbs and slammed into the sibriex's body, spilling ichor from numerous wounds in every direction. The sibriex shut it's multiple eyes and did not say a word out loud but in every mind there was a shout "You said you will free me!".
Fetchtatter scratched the side of the neck with a finger and said a bit embarrassingly: "Stubborn like hell. But a few minutes... some minutes... and he'll talk." He lightened up again and licked his lips in excitement: "Want to try? I bet your weapons would work too!" Chain devils looked at each other and one happily declared: "A coin they could not do it ten minutes!" "Two on twenty!" immediately countered the second one and both stared at the party expectedly.

Fran would remove her hand from her branded scar on her left shoulder. She was no stranger to torture or intimidation. "Best way is teh dangle somethin' sweet in front. So close within' yer grasps. She'd release her blades at the mass to test fate and it's resolve with a thorn in its side.

"Stop, stop! Wait!! Let's at least TRY talking first!" Polly screamed into the room in general. "Let it tell us what it wants and then see if we can do it before jumping down to the level of these... Things."
"Sibriex! Is it freedom you want in exchange for all you know of Zariel's sword? And how can we know you will tell us it all....?"
((The danger of idioms :) Sorry. All still for good fun!))
"How do I know you will keep your word and free me? You were quick to join those things torturing me." Frans glowing dagger returned to her, but the light from the spell was covering sibriex's flesh, framing the gaping wound with ichor dripping from it. (Devilish audience cheered and clapped)
"Our first reaction was try to heal you!" Polly insists, gesturing towards Choir. "Our second was to try and talk to you. I asked what you wanted... "
Polly glares at the others and then turns back to the Sibriex. "I apologize for them. Though you do not see their chains, they are currently trapped here as much as you are... But I am trying to control them. Despite it all, we would rather work WITH you than UPON you."
Polly pauses and swallows hard. She then leaps up and flies to the Sibriex, wings stopping quickly to drop Polly onto the ground at the base of one of the chains. Polly will reach out, grab one link in that chain, and then Dimension Door right back to her previous position, brining along the one single link on that chain.
((Assuming success, Polly hold up the link of the now broken chain as proof to the Sibriex that we can indeed free her...))
Fran would chuff with perhaps a hint of a smirk. She thought they had been talking. How did she know it wasn't false promises? Besides, it was barely a scratch. If she was going for damage, she wouldn't of used daggers. The testing of the ichor flopped, but at least they could keep an eye on the Sibriex's glow.
The artificer would lower her head to spit on the ground when Polly would say she's trying to control them and put her hands up in a surrendering motion. She'd turn her back to them and return her dagger to its sheath to show her resign for Polly and the beast. Brutus would turn with her. They'd simply keep an eye on Mooncolour and Lulu.

Devils meanwhile were watching Polly's movements with a great interest. "Oh, you are serious about releasing the thing? Tell us when you begin so we get the hell out of here."
Polly's manipulations did not work - the chain was well made with every link welded - after all, the sibriex was a huge creature and restrains had to be quite serious. The chain still could be broken however there was one culprit - the aura of corruption. The chains were within it. Devils seemed to be immune to the effect but not you and Polly got the proof of it right away: DC 20 Constitution saving throw or take 11 poison damage.

Reappearing back where she was just a moment ago, Polly bends over for a moment coughing and sputtering, trying to get the stench and taste of corruption out of her nose and mouth. Dammit, she thought to herself, there being no chain link in her hand. I thought that would work. She had seen the effects of the monstrosities aura and was prepared for that, or thought she was, but she hadn't been prepared to be unable to teleport such a simple thing away with her...
"Fine," Polly says after being able to breathe normally again. "I tried negotiating but I was the only one willing. Probably some irony in there somewhere." Polly shrugs and turns her back on the creature she had tried to talk to.
"Do what you need to do," she says to her companions and gives a little shrug.
" Get the hell out of here," Choir repeats back to the devils with some annoyance, and smacks Ordrag for good measure.
Choir examines the chains. Are they bolted to the floor? How are they secured? She thinks she can break the chains with a strong Shatter spell...but it might not be wise to free the creature with her magical abilities so depleted. "Shatter...chains," she says. "Tomorrow? Gust of Wind. The gust disperses gas or vapor, and it extinguishes candles, torches, and similar unprotected flames in the area. I think I'm ready for a long rest."

Only a soft scoff could be heard from Fran’s direction. Sleeping in this putrid area, in protection of this beast who could invade and torment their minds with their words... she was not excited or looking forward to the prospect should the group decide to so. The artificer would simply watch for Lulu and Mooncolours reaction, and listen for Adray and Ordrag’s opinions if they had anything to add. She herself, had done enough.
If we are indeed sleeping here, Polly suggests we take shifts standing watch as we would in any hostile area. "We're in hell... There is no safe place to sleep."
Several eyes on a different heads of the creature focused on Choir. After a long silence sibriex sent back a message "I will wait" - and went silent again.
Fetchtatter tilted his head and narrowed eyes at Polly: "Oh, really? Did he tell you just that - "stop torturing"?" All three jailers laughed but a bit nervously - even if they did not believe the words, they finally realized seriousness of group's intent about releasing the creature and probably knew enough about it's abilities to not wish to be here. "All yours, sweetie," finally declared jackal-headed and disappeared (one of the sibriex's head kept staring at the spot where he was and then eyes were following something invisible to the exit). Chain devils saluted the group mockingly and marched out without arguing. The room was yours.
Aside from a horror, chained in the middle, the stench and that aura of his, the place was relatively safe - at least it could shelter from the constant hot winds of the outside and hide from the vision of demon troops flying or walking around. Sleeping here was probably a daring exercise, but outside it could be worse.
Mooncolor and Lulu, though, were not so sure about it. The Unicorn planted himself at the entrance. He politely informed the group that he will watch out for intruders and ready to do so all night. Lulu looked at the suffering fellow celestial with a pity and whispered to Fran, taking her a bit aside: "He can not comprehend our decisions. He understands that he owes his life to us, but very lost and struggles with the idea of coexisting with devils and demons". Whether or not she understood it herself, Lulu did not say, but she kept her distance from the sibriex and from time to time mumbled something under her breath, resembling "focus" and "bigger picture".
Choir studied the chains - it's a web, binding sibries to the iron scaffold. The easiest way would be to simply break them, rather then try to untangle every individual chain. The chains are definitely breakable (though infernal iron is known to be resistant to fire, for example, so, mechanical means might be the best way). Unfortunately, the dreadful aura is not something related to the stench - it seems to be the natural emanation, that could not be simply blown away. But it had a bother - 30ft around the creature. The rest (about 20 more ft wide field) was free from danger.
Choir pats Mooncolor gently--and Lulu, too--before settling down for some rest. The trick would be to get an honest answer out of the demon...and, once it was free, to avoid being killed by it.
