Choir looks suspiciously at the red drink . She remembers the last red drink she had all too well. Subtly casting Purify food and drink, she dips the tip of one feathery finger into the fluid and tastes.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Adray, take the cup in hand and goes to take a drink but removes it before he does so starting to talk again and making gestures with the hand with the cup. "Well, my name is Pridesun and though I dont know all of the information I know maybe enough to verify if it is important."
He makes a rolling motion with his hand and continues, "something involving, cult of the dead three, consulting with the demons," then at the last he stops his movement, stares him right into the eyes and says, "and your mother's involvement in the fall of Elturel."
“Tough crowd.” Fran would chuckle awkwardly after the Kenku would cut her off from the redhead man, but return a wink to the feathery bartender. At least she got her sleepy neighbours name. The redhead would sip on her drink and pull out a coin to fidget with on the bar, trying to look as if she were contemplating gambling again.
When Amrik would call over the fancy drinks, Fran would let out a soft low whistle to herself watching the guy next to her hop to serve it. She’d look back to the barkeep, “Aye! Now that’s a fancy drink.” She’d take a gulp of her drink. “Whatsa sip of that worth?” The artificer would pat herself down ‘looking for change’.

“I’m Penny..” polly say short concentrating to remember the words and gestures for the [Tooltip Not Found] spell. She is not good at casting in front of others, especially when failure might mean their death, but think she can do it if she rehearse it in her head a few times. But the more she think on the consequences the more nervous she get.
The first was read thought. Second level and last for 1 minute. I assume that has passed so now she focus on remembering the spell charm. In case adrey gives the sign to cast it :)
"One gold coin!" declared kenku bartender in a voice and with intonation of someone counting up. Considering the most expensive wine was usually 10 gold for a bottle, it was not even outrageous. Kenku tilted his head and looked at Fran expectantly.
If Amrik noticed Choir's manipulations, he did not say a word, but the the spiky creature by his side hissed something - first at Choir, then to Amrik, and he had to calm the ugly beast down.
"Did I made a mistake and the wine is not to your liking? You do not drink, Pridesun, your lovely companion Penny neither and it looks like that sweet kenku does not trust the kitchen here either. Can I offer you something else, may be? If not for your friend Nibs - lovely name! - I would feel almost offended."
"Trust... Such an important and fragile thing... So easy to break... Ever thought about that? I do sometimes." Amrik took another sip from his glass. "For example, again I here about the cult of Dead Three. As an educated man I do know about it's existence and as someone, knowing my brother, I believe when you say he involved himself with them (admittedly, even for him it would be the next low), but now you are talking about fall of Elturel and make it sound as if it somehow can be my mother's fault? I am sorry, but at this point you begin to loose my trust. Still, you are saying that mysterial employer of yours convinced he "knows" something connecting us to all those things. Interesting. So, what exactly does he or she wants?"
Adray, stopped and put the cup down. "I apologize, as this is not my specialty. Rather than saying what does this information mean to you and your family. I should be saying what is it worth. Seems that we are on the cusp of something historic and there is a role to be played. Maybe with you or maybe there is an incentive to remain quietly by the side. This, I think is why he wants to meet."
"Like I previously stated, the offer is tonight. And we are to leave post haste, but I think we can spare you a little time." Adray says he looks at Nibs and says, "I think we could swing, what 20 minutes."
"You still did not mention where would we go? But you are right we can discuss it as we go. Excuse me for a moment - business. You can not just leave it unattended! I'll give a couple of orders for the time I am not here. Kasharra would keep you company, would you dear?" He pet the spiky horror on the couch, finished his wine and stand up. "Do not hesitate to order anything, while I am gone." Amrik nodded and moved to the stairs following up.
Good question :) Polly was studying imps - she would not recognize that creature from illustration (though, imps are shapeshifters). Still, she could say the creature hissed some curses at Choir in Infernal.
I am not sure any of you ever encountered something like this (actually, I am sure you did not).
We were warned that Mortlocks brother uses them to spy so even if Adray has not seem them he would assume this would be one. Anyways is that what was left down there or was that the name of some guard?
Both are still there - the little devilish looking thing and the red haired man (and three bouncers too, plus some upstairs whose allegiance you do not know yet).
Choir reaches out cautiously to try to pet the strange thing.

OOC: Which spell would that be? Reading thoughts or Charm? And if Charm - what level?

Ordrag suspects Amrik might be doing a runner, so he looks for an excuse to follow.
This drink too sweet for a lower-deck hand like me. I think me go wait back upstairs.
And he rises and ascends the stairs about 15 feet behind Amrik.
