Ordrag never intended to remain outside the battle, and his relatively fresh forces could help shoulder the attacks. The temptation was there to turn on the newly-attacking flank, but Ordrag instructed his devils to resist the temptation (a novelty for them) and continue to attack the demons obstructing the vanguard, in order to help push through.

Polly looks to press forward to S18, pushing her honey minions in that direction with shout of encouragement, false promises and outright lies. May as well feed them what they’re used to...
Adray was out of his depth here. He was use to being one of the fighter, more recently a leader of a small elite group. Large scale battles, he didn't have the expertise not to mention the loyalty of the men. He deferred to Krull's expertise.

Only one demon squad was standing between the group and their units and relatively demon-free field. And Fran's machines made a combine strike, grinding the deformed bodies into ichor and allowing others to get through the corridor.
Polly's bone devils returned to their "iron defense" tactic, but also managed to crash weakened opponent on S18, that allowed Adray's abishai safely follow the warmachines.
Choir's myrmidons risked it on and annihilated the opponent on T20 before it could do anything.
Ordrad's devils were hit, and though the blow was not deadly it was hard enough to weaken their next shot. Still, as weak as it was, demons on S20 could not completely block it and slow down their attack.

The group could continue to fight the demons or to make run for it - Zariel was not on a direct line, but it was possible to reach her now.

The run for the biscuits to the center of the raging battle was not an easy one. Even if moving though the relative allies, the party and their units had to fight off the attacks from above and those demons that made it that far and were locked in combat with the devils on the way. Some machines were broken, more elementals, and devils were lost, but eventually the group came to point where Zariel was locked in combat with two enormous demons in an 100-foot-diameter circle.
One of them you knew already and even battled - the Gnoll Lord, Yeenoghu himself. The huge fiend was circling around the smaller but may be even fiercer archdevil, laughing madly, waiting for the chance to strike with his triple-headed flail or send a spell.
The other one - a bit smaller (though with the size of the combatants "smaller" was very relative term) resembled a squat hill giant with short, bandy legs and a grossly shaped head. His face was a mask of savage madness and bloodlust and his eyes were locked on Zariel's weapon - a huge warhammer, that looked as if was covered with frost.
Devils and demons equally kept their distance - unlikely because any of them counted the battle of their leaders honorable, and more to stay away from the waves of magic and outside of the reach of the weapon.
Lulu frozen on the bother of the circle with a mix of admiration, relieve and hope on her face. She did not call her friend and companion yet, but you could be sure she was going to join the battle.
You are yourself now and free to act. If you join the battle - roll Initiative. Units can hold the line, but devils will refuse to attack Zariel and (most likely) their moral can not be high enough to battle the demonlords themselves.

Telesales by her Bone Devil minions, Polly tells them “It’s be fun, perhaps if any of us survive this we can work together again sometime... In the meantime, I’ve got gods to kill! ((An exaggeration, but so what?)) And you all... you got brothers to defend! If for no other reason than you should be the one to kill them and claim their stuff as your own! Now go! Go and fight, and wreck, and havoc!!! Have fun, boys!!”
Blowing her minions a kiss farewell, Polly flies her full 30’ movement west and casts Darkness upon herself...

Ordrag knows that they cannot effectively interact with Zariel while she is fighting two demons - and one a demon lord at that. But she might be able to repel one if they can handle the other, especially once she catches sight of her sword. His heart fills to bursting at the opportunity to engage in combat with such a fierce demon, and without another word to his diabolical troops (who will no doubt fight off the nearby demon hordes anyway), Ordrag flies toward Zariel. As he flies he invokes a prayer and a spectral warrior appears beside Zariel and in front of the squat demon, hovering in the air almost invisibly save for a glowing sword and shield. Ordrag flies up to the side of the guardian, almost within striking range of the demon and calls out a battle challenge, his celestial voice booming out across the battlefield: Come and meet thy doom, accursed fiend!
Initiative:7
Action: Cast Guardian of Faith to have the guardian appear in squares F13-G14 (2x2 space for Large creature)
Move: Fly around the bottom and left side of Zariel to E13.
Bonus action: Use Holy Light feature of Sword of Zariel to intensify the sword’s light, causing it to shed bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. Fiends find the sword’s light disconcerting and painful, even if they can’t see it, and have disadvantage on attack rolls made within the weapon’s radius of bright light.

Choir survey's the battle, hesitating, waiting for orders as usual. But this is not as usual. And, she realizes, she is in charge of her own unit now.
Even if they need to kill Zariel, Choir has no wish to fight on the same side as demons. "Yeenoghu!" she shouts to her myrmidons. "Kill the hyena god! He stinks up Akadi's sweet air!"

Adray turns to Krull, "You got us here and that is enough. You can stay and watch the show, kill some demons or take your leave. If I'm alive when this is all done, I'll make my way back."
When the party came to the clearing, first thing you saw is the Zarie's strike at her (one of many) immortal enemy. The flail in her right hand struck Yeenogu twice:
Attack: 30 Damage: 11 + 37fire
Attack: 31 Damage: 22 + 36fire
Then turned around and tried to hit Kostchtchie with the warhammer: Attack: 35 Damage: 23 + 50 fire + 14 cold AoE
Most mortals would be killed after one strike but demonlords prevail and when Choir sent the remains of her unit to attack the Beast of Butchery, he barked a command and hyena-headed demons, that were fighting the devils outside the circle turned on the hesitant elementals, ensnaring the divine army. Yeenogu used that commotion to make an attack on Zariel: Attack: 26 Damage: 12 (17 )
The move (both of them) attracted Zariel's attention as well and now she certainly noticed her own sword. Keeping away from the light, she turned her burning glaze at Yeenogu : 24 (19 )
Angelic Guardian sent radiant light towards both Kostchtchie and Zariel (241725 )
Both resisted (might be for the best too) but used the opportunity to curse at Zariel.
Polly hid herself in the cloud of darkness (though OwImp reminded her, that the demonlords might see through it) and now hanged closer to the battle, while Bone Devils stained where they were - they did not rush away despite the permission and for now stuck to defenses against occasional demons.
Fran made herself ready, while her warmachines turned around, helping myrmidons in their fight against hyenas.
Fran and squad will focus this round on attacking and defending from where they are as an effort to regroup and thin out the enemies.
