Ro stows her daggers and pulls out her scimitars, holding them both in one hand. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.
I am made of rage. I swing it like sword and wear it like shield.
She opens her eyes and reaches out to yank the door open. Then she grabs the second scimitar with her free hand, snarls silently at the opening, and runs through as soon as it's wide enough to squeeze through. If there's anything that appears hostile on the other side she'll leap straight at it and attack.

On the other side of the door, you see old stone bunks in orderly rows lining the walls, and a corroded iron brazier full of old coals stands near the middle of the room. The bones of a half dozen dwarves and orcs lie strewn about, clad in scraps of armor. A gray, hunched figures squats among the remains, pawing at the scraps and gnawing on the bones. At its feet is a pile of broken bones that the marrow has been sucked from. The gray head snaps up as the door opens, long dead eyes staring hungrily at the Goblin.
Before the ghoul has time to react, it has been disarmed by the furious goblin, and beheaded by Xiao, who finishes it off by smashing it's chest with her fists.

After Ro calms down, Twiglet and her exchange a quick few signs and then approach the rest of the party. "We'll take a quiet look at those rooms behind the jelly...thing" Twiglet suggests. Twiglet recovers one of the lamps from the "bat room" and fashions a dark lantern using some of the cloth on the floor of the "ghoul" room, making it as low light as possible.
Straining his ears, eyes and sensitive feet, Twiglet heads off into the North-West mining works
A still pool fills much of this cavern Twiglet discovers. The water is dark, revealing little of what might lie within. The shore of the pool consists of a thin layer of broken shells from strange, pale mussels, and a fishy odor hangs in the air. A shallow stream flows north&west out of the room along a tunnel. Craved steps leave the room to the east.
Up the carved (yay typos) steps, you find yourself in another corridor. Ahead is a closed door through which you can hear deep rough voices arguing in a language Ro knows to be Goblin. To your left, the corridor going up another set of steps.

After signing [trap, door, head], Twiglet quietly lays a trip-line rock-fall trap, securing the line from part of the door lock, via a wedged stick, to the door frame and stones piled above the door frame using the carefully wedged stick to retain them. If the door opens without first cutting the line, the stick will be pulled out and the rocks will fall on (hopefully) the head of the person pushing the door open. There are only small rocks around them and the small bits of wood to hand, used to make the wedged, won't support enough weight to make the stones do anything more than a give a shock and -maybe- a lump on the head....but it should slow them down.....briefly.

Humblodt's investigation of the pool room doesn't reveal much. The water in pool is very dark and still so that you can't see what may be below it. The tunnel cut by the stream looks to be around three feet high and the stream itself is about the same deep.

Ro spins around, looking for anything else moving in the room. Finding nothing, she starts hacking at the South door with her swords.

The door is turned into splinters eventually. On the other side she finds herself back in the room where she fought the pesky blood hungry bats.
Once she's calmed down, Ro beckons Twiglet forward to scout ahead.

Continue around the edge of that cavern to the craved [sic] steps, if I don't have to go through the pool, and into the next room
Do we need more stealth/perception checks?

Tallanvor searches the room for anything useful and heads to join the small ones.

Tallanvor finds nothing in the old Barracks room
Humblodt does the same, giving the craven steps a menacing look on the way.
Ro moves back down the stairs to stop anyone getting close enough for the bugbears to hear, and then asks Twiglet to relay what we found.
