Twiglet sees Ro's trouble and quietly approaches her. "Do we really need to get past this goblin?" He signs "I climb that wall". He looks uncertainly at the goblin at the top. "Maybe I can knock him out or something?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I wont be around for the rest of the evening...so here are some useful dice rolls, if it is agreed that Twiglet will try to either knock out the goblin from stealth (with an assumed back stab bonus and advantage on attack??
Acrobatics to climb the wall 7
Stealth to get behind the goblin 20
Backstab attack (cosh) with advantage (assuming the stealth works) 8
Damage (there doesn't seem to be a specific mechanic for knock-outs but here's a random d4 plus backstab) 4 plus 3
Tallanvor addresses the goblin "What can ye tell us of this cave. Where do the bridges go and what are we like to encounter up ahead? Be there sleeping quarters and the like?"
In general we would continue on this dialog until the goblin explains all that he can or is willing.
Twiglet is quickly up the wall and onto the bridge, his years of experience as a thief showing. He sneaks behind the goblin silently, hits it straight on the head, causing it to fall down unconscious on the bridge.
Meanwhile the goblin is spilling secrets in the hope that you don't feed it to the wolves, "Bridge leads between Den and Pool cave. Normally goblin on bridge to check for thieves. They alert goblins in Pool cave to release flood and wash them out. Rest of us sleep in Den on far side, but Klarg the Undefeated has own den on this side. He keep best loot there."
General summary. Can give more information about things if you have specific questions.
Ro takes out a rope and throws the end up to Twiglet for him to tie off so she can join him on the bridge. Standing next to him she looks back and forth between the unconscious goblin and the cosh, then puts on an exaggerated impressed face and silently pantomimes a snobby golf clap.
Adressing the goblin again Tallanvor asks, "Be there anything that yer kin keep as a superstition? Any gods or figures that we can use to intimidate them rather than kill your friends? What scares them the most? Fire? Magic?"
"Goblin worship Lord Overseer. He show that way to avoid punishment is to be punisher. We use whip to show worship. All goblins scared of those stronger."
Signing again, Twiglet offers to sneak a peek at what is on each side of the bridge. He also makes a comment about the loud noises the rest of the party are making below [they’d be the worst raid partner ever] he signs to Ro with a smile, clearly pleased he has shown his skill at last
Tallanvor urges the rest of the group to wait in the tunnel leading towards the tunnels leading to Klarg in order to not alert the fleeing goblins. He instructs them to stay ready in case there is a fight he will call for help by yelling "RALLY TO ME!" They tie up the goblin prisoner and tell him that he will be set free if he doesn't struggle or alert the others. This frees up Sildar in case there is a fight.
Roars and silence and Tallanvor have come up with a plan.
Once Twiglet and the others are all safely together (assuming they agree to do so) and the goblin is tied up he casts light on his cloak and drapes it over Roars in Silence with the hood up to conceal her face. Ro climbs up on his shoulders. Tallanvor casts Thaumaturgy so that his own voice booms as they head into the den of sleeping goblins and readies himself to cast it again once he starts speaking.
They enter the den and he bellow and as the goblins are roused he bellows in his best goblin voice "The Lord Overseer is not pleased with this clan. Flee this cave now or face death..." as the goblins hesitate he casts Thaumaturgy again to crack the whip and yells "GO NOW!" with the crack of the whip. Just then as they had planned roars takes the hood down with her face twisted in fury and mouth agape with the word "now".
The Goblin Den is a large cave divided in half by a ten-foot-high ridge. A steep natural staircase leads from the lower portion to the upper ledge. The air is hazy with the smoke of a cooking fire, and pungent from the smell of poorly cured hides and unwashed goblins. Five goblins had been cooking in the lower area. One runs down the staircase from the upper level. It appeared to have more jewelry on than the others.
"Master of masters, how did you earn your wrath?" the blingy goblin says looking intimidated by the display and is in their knees. The other five goblins are lying with their faces buried in the floor. "We have captured many slaves and trained them as you command. There is a fresh one in the upper level right now. It is our leader Klarg who is to blame. He is lazy and stops us from capturing more slaves to honour you with."
Tallanvor turns away from Blingy. "Then you will all follow me and we will speak with Klarg"
Tallanvor leads leads the way back to where his friends are waiting. Hopefully they will catch on and ambush the goblins as they approach. As long as one of them doesn't stab him in the back before he gets there...
Tallanvor changes course having a new Idea. The goblins tend to follow those who have power. He decides to take them to face Klarg rather than to an ambush. They head towards the bridge. The way must be direct to Klarg who would have meals brought to him.
Before they round the corner, Tallanvor has the goblins halt so that they can not see around the corner "Wait here" They proceed to the tied up goblin and kick the bound goblin off the ledge into the steam, hoping that he is obscured by the ledge or carried downstream.
They come back with Ro's hood now back in place "Come" And beckon the goblins to follow. They proceed across the bridge towards Klarg's lair.
1. If they notice the felled goblin:
We tell them that the goblin displeased us and not to ask questions less we become displeased with you!
If they suspect something and refuse to follow we fight near the bridge where our friends are close.
2. If they don't notice the felled goblin:
We proceed across the bridge into Klarg's Lair. If come to a point where it isn't Obvious, we bark "Which way" . Any time the Thaumaturgy for the voice would wear off, we cast it again. Any goblins that we encounter along the way, we say "Follow" and expect the others to fill them in.
Once we get to the Lair, we announce in a booming voice "Klarg the Undefeated, your rule here is at an end! You displease The Lord Overseer with your lack of slaves! You will be enslaved yourself" Addressing the rest of the goblins "Bind him for your Lord, kill any who stand in your way" The sound of the whip cracks as Tallanvor casts Thaumaturgy again.
As you cross the bridge, you enter a cavern is half filled with two large pools of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the pool, which drains out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below. Low stone walls serve as dams holding the water in. A wide exit stands to the south, while another smaller passage leads west, presumably down to the tunnel below the bridge. The sound of the waterfall echoes through the cavern, making it difficult to hear. There are three more goblins here, one of which runs to the south exit into the room beyond when it sees you coming. The other two fall into your collected group, which is now 8 goblins strong, but some of them are looking less intimidated than they were earlier. As you move towards the next room, you see through the entrance sacks and crates of looted provisions piled up in the south. In the middle of the cavern, the coals of a large fire smolder.
Humblodt had been waiting below the bridge and sees the unfortunate goblin shoved over the parapet into the stream below. Deciding that if it needed drowning it could be drowned later, he fishes the shivering creature from the water and leaves it next to the - for now - satiated wolves.
He then follows, at a discrete distance, the group of goblins being led over the bridge.
Depending on how things pan out, he would cast entangle on the group of goblins if they get too lairy, or faerie fire if another attempt is being made to intimidate them, or to embolden them ("you have the power of the Lord Overseer!") if they are persuaded to attack Klarg.

Tallanvor and Ro head towards the well dressed goblin with a menacing stride hoping the others will flee.
He lets out a wild bellow and hopes Ro catches on and opens her mouth
Ro squints and opens mouth wide, baring her teeth. Conveniently, this makes it less obvious to any onlookers that she's laughing.
