After inspecting The Persistent with Gimble and acquainting himself with his new ride for the foreseeable future, Cyrus spends some time gambling, swapping rumors with the presumably sailors he plays with about the seas *. He also goes shopping, trying to haggle his way into a cheaper set of studded leather armor while selling the normal leathers he wears **, and buying a second waterskin and enough rations for the journey ((which is how long, do we know?)). The first he fills with potable water, the second with ale from the tavern. He returns to Lord Hammand's to confer with Muldoon and see if there's anything by way of last minute preparations he can assist with. Any free time is spent between socializing with party members and standing at shore staring out to sea. If there's anyone who wants to combine the two he's all for it.

Once we are shown to The Persistent, introduce myself to the captain and spend the next two days getting acquainted with the ship, offering to help anyway she can. Once she has her quarters, if she is given individual quarters, set up a location to start working on her tinkering. When not helping on the ship, she will be working on the toys she has purchased.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
It looks like the group split up after talking to Hammand, so going off of that:
After their meeting, Maggie went back to the Oar’s Rest to drink a little more. She got a bit too drunk and asked Salty about whether or not his beard tasted like salt. Afterwards, she went to the bazaar and played a few songs for some money.
Gaerich accompanied Clav, keeping an eye on him and any threats from the shadows as he went about his business at the paper sellers. After that he immersed himself in the pleasures of city life he'd be missing on the ship and on the island, drinking, carousing, female company, and things of that nature.
Clavorus visited the shops, looking for cartographer/adventurer shops primarily.
He would be looking to find more papers and inks, mapmaking tools and the sort. Also he'd be in search of any other maps/bits of lore re: treasure in the area. He would also make sure his pouches were stocked for the spells he knows with the materials required.
He'd welcome Gaerich along, probably enjoying a lunch with him and his company.
On the 2nd evening he'd join Cyrus staring at the sea, enjoying a drink, and wondering what the journey ahead holds for them.
The two days pass by slowly as everyone is anxious to board the ship and finally head out to the island. On the first day waiting, Gimble immediately heads to The Persistent with Cyrus easily keeping pace close behind. Walking through the docks they come upon a The Persistent, her colorful striped hull is almost comedic, however, what this ship lacks in grace, and austerity, she more than makes up for with agility and speed. The Persistent affectionate captain, Volk Russell, an equally flamboyant aquatic elf welcomes Gimble and Cyrus with an extravagant bow and then shows them to their quarters before giving them a tour of the ship.
The ship was once a merchant ship, now rerigged by Lord Hammand to be a part of his small fleet of ships for his expedition company. Changes such as extra sails and comfortable seating have been outfitted on the top dock and the cargo hold has been redesigned with large estate rooms decorated with duck and geese feather mattresses, writing desks with attached lamp, portholes that look out towards the sea, and private restrooms, a library with a reading room full of nautical books, seafaring novels, books on rare species of animals, books on myths and legends from other lands, and so forth, a large kitchen filled with dry goods, meats, eggs, cheeses, and any other delicacies that Hammand and his guests request. There is also the Game Room where all the hunted beasts are kept to be skinned, stuffed, eaten, or mounted. A Sword and Armor room filled with... well you get it.
Captain Russell also introduces Gimble and Cyrus to the rest of the crew. There is his 1st Mate and Quartermaster Theo Woodbow, a tall, broadly muscled male human with indigo tattoos and the sort of whitetoothed smirk that suggests he will either fight or **** you very soon, the ship's cook Archibald Wettow a male halfling who has braids of silver hair, a half bitten ear and a series of ladles, spices and cooking knives on his belt and always smells heavily of cumin, peppers, and mead, the ship's Master Archer Mathilda "Matty" Strunger, a female human who is slender with sunburnt skin and always carries two hand-crossbows on her hips, the ships navigator and Master of Sails Huron, a male Half-Orc who adorns himself in a robe made of processed seaweed and small shells that glitter under the moon's light, the ships Boatswain Ronan MacDougal, a male human who stands about 6 feet tall with medium cut black hair, a full goatee to match, and piercing blue eyes and wears a kilt made of the skin of a dire wolf he claims to have killed with his bare hands, the ship's carpenter Shanna Cooper, a female wood elf whose auburn hair is constantly sticking to her sweaty forehead and is always wearing a stained blue apron, and finally the ships rigger Aegis Sigea, a male human who has the arms the size of a trolls from years of working the ropes on Captain Russell's ships.
After the tour and introductions, Captain Russell continues prepping the ship for her voyage, leaving Gimble to head back to her room and Cyrus who heads back to the market where he does a little shopping. Cyrus manages to haggle down the price of a fine piece of studded leather, and an extra waterskin for 30 gold pieces and then heads back to the ship where he spends time with the crew. Though at this time most are busy prepping for the ship and have little rumors to share except one lets slip that Captain Russell and Muldoon don't get along very well as both think they are in charge of the other.
Maggie meanwhile headed back to the neighborhood where Oar's Rest is and flirts a bit with Salty, making his blush and in return giving her free drinks. A little tipsy she manages to play some amazing music that draws a solid size crowd around her and she earns several silver and copper pieces that add up to 12 gold pieces. The next morning the drinking with Salty catches up to her and she spends most of the day nursing her hangover before heading to the ship.
Gaerich accompanies Clavorus as the bookish adventurer goes on a short shopping spree and purchases additional parchments, an extra quill, ink, a pair of compasses, calipers, and a ruler. Clavorus tries to get Gaerich interested in cartography, but Gaerich eyes are drawn towards the beautiful women walking through the market. Eventually, the two grab a small bite at one of the dockside restaurants and swap stories. That night Gaerich meets young lass who keeps him company and Clavorus collects all his material needed for spellcasting. The next day the two of them meet with everyone at the ship.
As everyone gathers at the boat Lord Hammand arrives lead by Muldoon who is dressed in leather armor with various pockets and a custom-built blowgun that is long and decorated with the colorful plumes of some animal swung across his back and Eustance who carries a black trident. Behind the trio are Hammand's guests accompanying him on his expedition. One is a female and male couple in their fifties with silver hair and both wearing clothes of fine silk, another older male gentleman who walks with his chest puffed out and wear a monocle that compliments his walrus mustache, and a younger female and male elven couple who can't keep their hands off one another. A sixth person emerges from the back, an older male human with a bald head and wears a long grey robe and carries a longsword in a scabbard attached to his side.
Gaerich nods at each of the crew members as they are introduced, holding his neutral gaze on the first mate for a moment longer than the others. “I am Gaerich of the World Spine.” He indicates the rest of his party “these are my clan, any affront to them is an affront to me.”
Cyrus clamors aboard The Persisent after Gimble, graciously introducing himself to Russel and the crew with his eyes lingering both on Woodbow's intense gaze and Matty's crossbow-slung hip. "Pleased to meet ya," he says to Huron and Aegis, "Happy to help out around the deck, these hands could use a few new rope burns."
On the last evening, Cyrus stands at the shoreline with Clavorus. He stares misty eyed at the horizon, the charming jaunt absent from his voice to leave childlike wonder. "Just think Clav, tomorrow we'll be asail and on our way to a new land. What wonders might we find there?" The boyish grin on Cyrus' face falls sour in a moment before recovering just as quickly, as if the aquatic half-elf just recalled for the briefest instance an upsetting and unavoidable truth before successfully repressing it once more.
The morning of the departure Cyrus is up by the docks to meet the sun's rise, joining up with his fellow party members at The Persistent's pier. He smirks at some internal thought as he sees Muldoon's possibly compensatorily large blowgun, taking in the appearance of the other guests before introducing himself after Gaerich. "Cyrus Natriallae, at your service. Tar, tempter, and adoptee it would seem." He glances up at Gaerich, then back at the rest of the party. "This is the charming Maggie Dark, one of the finer strummers and storytellers I've come across; and our very own diminutive dynamic duo, the prolix penitent Gimble and esteemed scribe Clavorus."

Gimble will give a small curtsy to each person she is introduced to and mumbles a greeting. Due to the amount of people and out of shyness she remains quiet, only speaking when spoken to.
You all load on The Persistent and Theo the First Mate takes the rest of you beside Cyrus and Gimble to your estate rooms while Matty helps Hammand show his guests to their estates. As everyone settles in the crew starts to unrope the boat from the deck and you notice Muldoon walk over to Huron and the two Half-Orcs banter in their own tongue and then Muldoon grabs Huron's arm and smiles at his fellow half-orc.
It's not too long before the boat starts to exit the harbor and those standing aft of the ship watch the port city of Murran slowly disappears below the horizon. The winds are strong and The Persistent cuts through the chop of the water with ease. During the days on the boat, the crew goes about their business with Huron and Captain Russell working together at the wheel, Matty checking the two large ballistas, one in the aft and one at the bow, Ronan and Aegis handling the ropes and sails, while downstairs Shannan assists Archibald prepping meals.
During most of the trip, Muldoon takes a seat on one of the luxury chairs nailed onto the top deck, reading books and writing notes or is found in his room or in the small training facility. Hammand, for the most part, entertains his guests who he has yet to introduce to you all formally. They tend to stay in the library or game room and spend little time on the upper deck except for the young elf couple who are constantly canoodling with one another.
From what you hear from Huron he estimates the trip to be a month journey and so far the first week out to sea has gone by unremarkably.
((Go ahead and describe what you do and who you talk to during the first week))
Gaerich will help where he is needed, lending his muscle to whatever task is at hand. He’ll attempt to talk archery with Matty, hunting and wrestling with Ronan, and sea life, ship craft, and hunting with Muldoon. And he’ll give smoldering barbarian looks to any ladies who seem interested in receiving them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing that the people on the ship (other than the party) know each other, Maggie asks around for some of their greater achievements, hoping to write a song about it. She also sings some ballads to entertain the large group. Any who know the song can join in. She takes some time over the week to flirt with Theo, Ronan, and Matty, to see who she can seduce for fun.
(I'll do a Performance anyway to see if they agree with Cyrus' boast: 18)
Clavorus spends his time aboard ship in a number of ways.
Using Druidcraft in the mornings and evenings, he keeps a track of the weather predictions in his journal as he writes his thoughts for about 15 minutes or so. He confers with the navigator Huron with his predictions, seeing if he needs the information or has his own means of prediction (If Huron welcomes it, Clavorus will give him daily updates. Trying to find out more about the navigator and his background as he does so.) He would also be talking with the navigator to look at any sea charts or maps, in order to create his own map of their journeys in his journal.
In the evenings, Clavorus would probably join Muldoon for an evening drink, to talk about their common love for maps and books. Or to sit quietly and read with him in the sunsets. He would use Shape Water to freeze small cubes or spheres to cool any drinks they might be enjoying. He would also offer this service to the ship's cook Archibald Wettow, if he needed it for any chilling or food preservation. (Can freeze about 5 cubic feet of water at a time)
He would eat dinners with any of his travelling companions that wouldn't mind his company, or any of the new people on the boat. Listening to any stories and telling a few of his own as he gets to know others.
For any small wounds or injuries, Clavorus would aid those he could by casting Cure Wounds.
He would gather 3 small vials of sea water, storing them with his component pouch for later. He would also be drawing pictures of animals he could see in the water, keeping them in his memory for later.
Cyrus spends much of his time helping out on deck, glad to finally get another chance to regrow the callouses on his rope-worn fingers. His gait is natural, and his work is accompanied by amicable chatter, but the glibness and charm are diminished. Days are spent working and carousing, the aquatic half-elf conversing mostly with Ronan, Aegis and Russel, the last of which he'll ask his opinion on Muldoon.
Depending on the origin of Maggie's song (i.e. whether he knows it), Cyrus will sing along, his mangling of the song's melody hopefully forgivable through his appreciativeness of joining the group in song. He's happy to share meals with the party and join in camaraderie, though he holds tension in his body, and asks more questions than he answers. Every night he stands on the aft, looking not up at the moon nor out at the horizon, but down towards the deep.
By day four or five Cyrus seems mostly back to his normal self. His jokes and winks return, and he offers to spar with someone.

As mentioned before the first week onboard goes unremarkable.
Most of you help the crew during the first week and from the looks of it they are quite surprised and happy for the additional help. Even Muldoon takes notice as Gaeirch and Cyrus help with the ropes and Clavorus sharing weather information with Huron.
During the first week, the following happens:
Gaerich works hard next to Theo, Ronan, and Aegis as they handle the coarse ropes and heavy sails. After a few days, Ronan invites Gaerich down to the crew quarters to share some whiskey and swap stories. Matty also shows Gaerich how to handle and operate the two ballistas on board. When asked if they have ever used them before Matty just replies that they are more of an insurance policy and that The Persistence tends to outrun her foes. Muldoon at first gives Gaerich a cold shoulder during the first week, but answers Gaerich's questions and one night shared with him that he's been working for Hammand for the last fifteen years.
Gaerich ROLL FOR PERSASUION CHECK and INTELLIGENCE CHECK please
Maggie manages to make some friends with the crew who quickly take to her because of her bardic skills. Archibald in particular who used to play the viola back in his earlier days before became a renowned cook. Maggie also played tunes for the crew and guests every night and each night her music would add images of the sea and all the creatures who live in it. Maggie is the first of the group to befriend some of Hammand's guests. While playing on the top deck the two romantic elves introduced themselves as Respin and Sentha Morro, recently newlyweds who were given a gift of a hunting trip by Respin's uncle Estelar Morro. Respin is considered one of the best hunters among his people and Sentha is always looking for the most exotic items to brag about in front of her friends. Sentha also takes a liking to Maggie and throughout the first week would come up to Maggie and request certain songs and if Maggie did not know them Sentha showed her.
Maggie ROLL CHARISMA CHECK please
Cyrus tugs at the ropes, working beside Ronan, Aegis, and his buddy Gaerich. Throughout the first week, Cyrus does his best to be where he needed and wanted and also to stay out of the way when most convenient. He tries to rub shoulders with the other guests, but Hammand would always be there to the intercept and send Cyrus on his way. Cyrus then asked Captain Russell about his thoughts on Muldoon and the captain just smiled and shrugged at the question. Theo also kept an eye on Cyrus and was concerned by the way the elf acted at sea. During the nights when Cyrus was looking down into the black deepness of the sea, Theo would watch far away enough to not to disturb Cyrus in what he was doing. Of all the members in your group, you see that Cyrus was given the widest berth by the crew and guests in the beginning, but as the days change so did those attitudes towards Cyrus.
Cyrus ROLL FOR ARCANA CHECK and CHARISMA CHECK please
Clavorus spends most of his time with Huron and Captain Russell as the two of them enjoyed having access to Clavorus's weather predictions. Huron especially takes a liking to Clavorus and he shows him the map reading instruments he uses when it comes to navigation by stars. During the nights Clavrous, with Gaerich, sit with Muldoon drinking and smoking, and Muldoon acts the same way towards Clavorus as he did with Gaerich, which was with a cold shoulder, but always willing to answer a question. Archibald accepts Clavorus's help and is put to work to not only use his magic, but to also chop, slice, and dice several vegetables and fruits.
Clavorus ROLL SLEIGHT OF HAND FOR CHECK and CHARISMA CHECK please
"What latrines?" Cyrus winks at the gnome, gesturing past the docks out toward the open sea.
