Gulgus, after having tried to be patient with his comrades explorations, meanders his way behind Kysdiane both marveling at the machine and being completely bewildered by it.
"I do see some tomes in this chamber. The titles of which are the names of various birds, such as Harrier and Starling... Do those sound familiar?" The creature says while its humanoid head looks to one side. "If so, I may have an idea. Though, it does carry some risks."
As this conversation continues, Kysdiane, with Gulgus not too far behind, follows the chirping sound and arrives at the front of the machine's interior. He sees two seats in front of a control panel that, at first glance, has a dizzying amount of gauges, buttons, dials and levers on it. He regains his bearings to notice a button that glows a dim green as it blinks along with the chirping.
Kysdiane sits down in one of the chairs and turns over his shoulder to Guglus. Pointing at the button he asks, "Do we press it? I think it will turn the entire machine on, but I don't know how the creature that Lia is talking to will react."

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
"What I propose is that I could imprint the information within these tomes in your mind while you sleep." The Nuckelavee begins to elaborate, "The main issue is... Here, in the Wyrdrealm, I am functionally a Nightmare Figment. As such, the entire experience may not be... pleasant. There is a chance the process may cause some stress on your psyche."
(Mechanics-wise, it means that you will need to roll a fairly difficult Wisdom save to avoid 1 level of exhaustion)
Avia moves to where the creatures head indicated where the books are located, but sees none. She does remember that there are tome of those titles back up in the hangar.
Kysdiane wonders to Gulgus if it would be wise to wait on pressing the button.
"Well, I don't see why not to give it a try." Lia says slowly, considering. "If we have the information, then it will make this much easier." She sighs and nods. "Let's do it."
"Very well... Tell me which do you want me to imprint and I'll prepare for it." The Nuckelavee says. "I will be exposing myself, acting as a Figment. I would rather not spoil too much of the time you afforded us for our investigations. So, I am going to limit the number of tomes I read to two."
"Very well... Let us begin. It appears I should be able to use my powers through this device." The Nuckelavee says as it grabs the first of the two tomes, for the Gyrfalcon. The eyes of it's humanoid head glow for a moment as the pages flip quickly from one side to the other.
It's horse-like head's eyes glow a green color, soon after, as Lia feels as strange pressure in the back of her head. Her head starts racing as she experiences, in her mind's eye, the sensation of flying the Gyrfalcon through extremely turbulent weather, complete with tornadoes, streaks of lightning, and clouds violently crashing into one another. Throughout the twisting skyscape before her she sees dark streaks going across her vision in between every lightning strike. Some of them even keep pace with the Harrier, just within the corner of her eye She dodges, dips and dives to avoid these obstacles in front of her.
Suddenly, one of the black streaks makes a sharp turn towards her! As soon as the shadowy figure reaches the cockpit, lightning flashes and thunder crashes!
The vision ends abruptly. Lia feels her hands trembling slightly.
"The first imprinting was successful. You now have the knowledge of how to operate the Gyrfalcon. Shall I continue?"
(Currently Wisdom save DC is 15, doing the other one will raise DC to 17. The penalty for failure will remain at 1 level of exhaustion)
The Nuckelavee reaches fort he Harrier's tome and repeats its action. The same kind of strange pressure in the back of Lia's head begins anew.
Within the the familiar sights of the Harrier's controls, Lia finds herself pursuing a large bird on what appears to be a day with a some clouds in the sky over a vast plain. The bird dips, climbs and weaves and Lia is barely able to keep up. The bird takes a sudden dives straight down towards the ground. At no point during the dive does it even hint at realigning with the surface. However, the ground below opens up into a vertical tunnel straight down. Following the bird, Lia goes deep into the rocky depths. The rocks begin to glow brighter and brighter as she flies deeper still. The bright light completely envlopes her and she emerges to see a clear green sky over a craggy mountain range. Soon, something becomes amiss, again as the mountains start rolling and tumbling over each other to form a truly gargantuan titan of stone. This large colossus seems to have something against Lia and swings one of its massive arms at her. With no way to dodge a mountain, her vision goes black.
She then finds herself in the same room again.
(Go ahead and roll the DC17 wisdom save)
"It is done... You now have the knowledge of the Harrier," The Nuckelavee says. "Is there anything else you need? Mind you, I cannot stay in one place for too much longer."
Two successive nightmares while still awake take its toll on Lia's mind and she finds it harder to concentrate (Lia now has level 1 exhaustion).
With some encouragement from Gulgus, Kysdiane presses the button. He observes a golden light coming from below the cockpit that gets brighter as he sees the magical circle lift off the ground around them. Just following the circle, he sees the familiar architecture and sights of the hangar trailing it.
While this is happening, in the room Lia is conversing with the Nuckelavee in, she senses little change. Perhaps a moment of disorientation due to a sudden change of direction (think of suddenly turning from north to south). The Nuckelavee shows no sign of being similarly affected.
"Huh. Well, I guess we figured out how to get this baby up to the hangar. Now we just need to figure out how to fly it." Craning his head back into the room with Lia, the paladin asks, "Hey, did you figure out how to fly this thing from our little friend?"

Can you remind me of which there are? Lia would be interested in the harrier and whatever this one is.
Harrier, Pelican, Starling, Grouse and Gyrfalcon (The one you're in, now). The Heron's book is available, but it was scavenged for parts.

Lia would want the Harrier and Gyrfalcon.
