"Thank you." Lia tells the little thief. She glances to the other two at the table. "What say you? Will you join us in our attempt to get to this library and to find this key to stopping what is happening?"
"I have no magics at my beck and call to speak of, but I know my way around a variety of tools that I think might come in handy for you. My last company I was the medic and a bit of a trapsmith along with being one of the main fighters. I can hold my own in a scrap and help out too."
Doc looks appraisingly around the table, pausing for a moment to allow the others to indicate whether or not they are interested in the expedition.
"So, where do we start? Do we need transport to this library?"

"No, transport is already taken care of." Lia says with a bit of an amused smile. "We just finished getting that sorted before we came here to look for additional resources for the next stage of the mission." She glances to the cowboy. "So what do you think? Are you in on this quest to end this threat?"
"Aw, dag nabbit. Why the hell not." He shrugged, elbowing Lia playfully as he meticulously spun his firearm back onto his holster."Hey, which library are we headin' to? And what is this about a key, toots?" He was slightly nervous, not going out adventuring since he was twenty or so.

"The library is one that flies." Lia says with a glance around at the others at the table. "We have a rather... different... means of transportation we just aquired in order to reach the library." She shrugs as she glances back to the cowboy. "As for keys, we can discuss that more on the way there."
"Something you will need to see to believe." Lia says with a teasing smile. "Have you heard the legends of a giant falcon that flew the skies above these deserts?"

Doc looked around the room and determined no one else seemed interested in joining the little cadre. "Maybe it would be better to show than tell, yeah? Seems like time might be of the essence. Take us to this transport and we can be off. "

"Agreed." Lia said with a nod of her head. Her long white hair swayed a bit with the motion, so she tucked it behind an ear. "If you are ready we can get back to our transportation. I don't like leaving it alone even this long, so it would be likely a good idea to get back sooner than later."
"Very true. While we did put it out of sight of the town, it is very much out in the open." Nessarian quips. "If there is any business you need to in town needs to be quick."
"Libraries in the sky ain't exactly my wheelhouse and Scath doesn't do well indoors for very long. So whenever y'all leave is where we part ways." Cree say, in response. "But, I don' think I'll be forgettin' what I saw for a long time!"
"Giant bird? You talkin' about one of dem Rocs? Y'all fly on a Roc!?" He looked amazed, tipping his hat in respect and in awe. "Well, I'll join ya if you need an extra member in your battalion or whatever it is." He nods, relighting a cigarette as he began to laugh heartily.

"I am also ready to go." She looks to the new members. "If you need anything pick it up quick, then meet us at the edge of town." She gives directions on where to meet up. Then she nods and, with a glance around, starts for the door.
Having no business here besides finding new employment, Doc decides to accompany his new compatriots to the edge of town to see this famed transportation for himself.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With their interest piqued, the new arrival agree to come with Lia, Gulgus and Nessarian, and they soon leave Razzel's Edge. It is just an hour past noon when they reach the edge of town. Barring any distractions, the journey back to their transport will see them there just before sunset.

Fortunately, the sun-baked landscape is all quiet during the trek. Before long, dyed red by the setting sun is not a giant bird, like Hol Horse assumed. Instead, it is a very large metal artifice in the vague shape of a bird, with its wings outstretched.
From the last time Lia and Gulgus had seen it (nearly 12 hours ago), it seems to have been undisturbed.
"Here we are." Lia says, nodding to the construct ahead. She looks to the Cowboy. "Not a Roc, but something a bit more farfetched in my opinion." She grins as she heads towards the entrance.
"Oh, my lord! Look at the size of that thing!" He would take off his hat and hold it to his chest as if honoring something. He looks at Lia, then back at the immensely large avian construct."That is the single greatest thing that my eyes have ever laid upon. My old friend Giel's great uncle used to have a... thing like this" He chuckled at the thought of his friend.

“What sort of transportation?” Toenail looks confused.
