With mixed reaction, including awe and unease, the party files into the entrance.
"This is the Gyrfalcon. We discovered it along with a number ofsimilar crafts hidden inside of a butte in this desert." Nessarian says. "It seems they were some sort of highly experimental effort to prevent some disaster. Evidently, some of the other crafts had been seen from one time or another in times of antiquity. According to what Lia and Gulgus had seen, whatever it was had gotten to them first."
"Lia has something that this machine can use to guide us to the Flying Library."
“Is it safe? What happens if we’re attacked in that thing? Some roc sees it coming and wants a fight?” Toenail is curious, but clearly is unsure about its capability
"This one has some fight in it." Lia says with a smile. "My harrier has even more fight in her though." Lia pats a pattern on the wall, that shows a smaller, more predatory-looking construct. "If we need to fight we'll be fine, but let's hope we can get to the library without the need."
"Pfft, if a Roc comes flyin' towards ourselves I'll pump its guts full of lead!" He sneers while pointing to the back of the airship. "From back there!" He quickly draws his gun and fires a shot, making it swerve around in fancy patterns before it flies back into the gun. "Like that."

Doc looks at the construct with a leery eye, but ultimately nods. "I've ridden with some strange company over the years. Seems like today will be no different. If'n you say it's safe then we'll be trustin'. Let's take this bird for a spin shall we?"

"Ok then." Lia says, moving to the controls. She closes all hatches and prepares the construct for lift off. (Do I need rolls for any of that or are we ok?)
Once the ship is ready Lia pulls a glimmering blue stone out of the neckline of her tunic, holding it up. She does whatever is needed to allow the stone to guide them towards the library... (I am not sure if she has to put the stone somewhere or simply be holding it as she flies the construct...)
(We can assume that her imprinted lessons lets her know how to do it.)
Lia brings the Gyrfalcon up into the skies. As she does so, takes out the dream-made lodestone in her possession and locates a small, circular shelf in the cockpit. Once she places it, it starts hovering as several magical circles appear and move about it until they appear to look like a sphere encompassing it. A small dot appears on a space on the surface of the sphere, above and behind the stone.
Insight check to interpret the heading, how well you do increases accuracy.
Lia is able to discern that the closest source of dream magic (presumably the Flying Library) is in the skies somewhere behind the current direction of the Gyrfalcon. However, the exact distance is unknown. The best she can tell it would take at least, all night to reach their destination.
"Behind us?" Lia says with a frown. She turns the construct around and starts in the direction sensed. She glances at the others. "Looks like it is some distance, likely taking all night to get there. Best get comfortable, we'll be flying for a while..." (Does she need to stay at the wheel of this thing to control it or is there an auto-pilot mode that one of the others can just monitor? I am wondering if we take watch shifts to keep someone watching the controls if that would work.)
(I'm fairly sure I mentioned that it could fly without a pilot. But I don't quite recall. And, yes, the skies are basically uncharted territory and there are some quirks to the aircraft, itself. So watch shifts may be necessary.)
"I am happy to start earning my worth and take a shift at watch if you show me what to do in an emergency. Does this contraption have a way to alert everyone if we find ourselves in trouble or anything?"

Looking at the newcomers Gulgus adds, "Tha lassie Lia's not without some fight in her as well" and then gives Lia a knowing glance.

(no roll is necessary, only for tricky/risky maneuvers)
With everyone on board, Lia runs to the controls and the Gyrfalcon soon whines to life as the doors close.

Lia explains what she can to the othres, then sets up watch rotations. She would take one and work out who would take others.
As Toenail take his self-guided tour of the Gyrfalcon, Lia explains the features of the craft. Hall volunteers h
After she finishes, she sets the vehicle to operate without a pilot as they turn in for the night.
Could I have watch order and perception checks please?
