Kysdiane walks over to Avia and offers a bit of guidance for whatever attempt she might make to decipher the room, or the growing crystal chambers. He then looks around the room for any potential entrances or exits other than the door that Gulgus just closed behind them.
After to giving divine aid to Avia, Kysdiane, looks to find other methods of entry. Obviously, the the windows he and Avia used to climb inside the room are a couple. Other than that are a few 3 feet x 2 feet grates low to the ground that have seen better days and above the machine is a rather large chute that goes upwards for a distance before fading into darkness.
Lia walks around the room. As she gets closer to the exposed crystals, the dream stone in her possession begins to glow its blue color more brilliantly. The crystals start to glow white in response.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Interesting, perhaps we should see what happens if we touch it to the crystals?" Avia investigates the panel, seeing if there is anything on it that might be of use.
Somewhat surprised by this new development, Lia calls attention to it. Avia then suggests an experiment regarding the dream stone and crystals.
Analyzing the panel, Avia notices that the slots behind the panel are the same size and shape as the crystals that Lia had discovered in the small chest from the other room.
Kysdiane activates his boots for another minute and calls down to the group that he is heading up the chute and begins to ascend into the chute.
If the chute is not large enough to fit a humanoid, then Kysdiane simply waits for the more intelligent people to come to a conclusion. Although he does try to pitch in his 2 cp worth. "I wonder if that stone was perhaps created in this facility. That would explain the reaction to the crystals that power it."

"I am not certain touching them together is good, nor am I certain it is bad." Lia says with a frown. "The problem is that, once done, it is likely too late then, either way." She looks to the others. "I think I'll wait on that test for now..."
As Lia politely declines to test out Avia's hypothesis, for the moment, Kysdiane flies his way up the chute in the middle of the room.
It isn't long before he comes across contraption that looks like three broad blades attached to the middle of a metal mount. It looks like they would've rotated on the mount weren't it for the numerous rocks from a long-settled cave in obstructing any movement. He them moves back down and wonders aloud if the dream stone was made here.
Renata nods understandingly and agrees with Lia gently, "It is true that we do not yet know how the stone works, so perhaps it would be best to examine the room before deciding whether we should experiment."
Renata and Lia are in agreement regarding the previously mentioned experiment as Kysdiane expands his magical senses regarding the crystals.
While, on the surface, both Lia's stone and the crystals in the room seem to be drawing from the same source there are differences, both subtle and marked. The more apparent dissimilarity, apart from their respective colors, comes from the fact that Lia's arcane magic is influencing its behavior. But, a more in-depth probe reveals that while the magic that had initially primed Lia's stone's magic is a more ancient kind than what the crystals are exhibiting, the initial spark behind it seems to be much, much more recent. He could even easily pinpoint it to sometime within the last few years!
Kysdiane tells the group his findings about Lia's stone and about the stones that are blocking the fan like structure at the top of the chute. "I don't quite know what our next step should be, it almost feels like everything is too delicate to trifle with."

Renata listens carefully and ponders between the choices, her curiosity grows with this mysterious room. She says, "the only way we are going to find out answers is too take action. It looks like Lia's stone is influencing the other crystals, and maybe putting it inside the panel will activate them, somehow."
(To clarify, Lia’s stone is only reacting to and influencing the crystals on the machine. Not the ones she found in that chest. Sorry for any confusion)
"Perhaps we should try to slot one of the crystals Lia found into the panel." Kysdiane suggests, "We shouldn't go any farther until we figure out how this works. I would hate for something to come to life and attack us from the back. We could just use the smallest one and see what happens."

"I agree," Renata says. She sits down beside Avia, but doesn't seem discouraged, and starts putting together from her material pouch, carved sticks and pieces of bones, on the ground constructing an eye-shaped diagram, with a token of Savras symbol in the middle, and two ornate cards on either side indicating either weal or woe. "I could perform augury, and consult the knowledge of Savras, the Lord of Divination, to see what would happen if we put slot the crystals into the panel."
Kysdiane looks surprised to know that there is a spell that can predict the future, but shrugs as he supposes there is much about magic that is unknown to him. He sits on the floor near the diagram that Renata is creating and watches patiently.
