Lia, Kysdiane and Renata combine their efforts to try to gain a deeper understanding of how much energy the crystals have.
Renata struggles greatly, possibly due to how unfamiliar they are to her and is unable gain any useful information.
Lia is barely able to get a sense of energy from the red and blue crystals, suggesting that they have the most energy among the six.
Kysdiane is able to back up Lia's finding, using the white crystal's current capacity of 9 as a baseline. While he doesn't know the exact charge of each other crystal, he is certain that the white crystal does indeed have the lowest charge, followed by green, orange, yellow, red, and blue having the most charge. He is also able to estimate that the white crystal contains almost a tenth of the total amount of magical energy while the blue one doesn't reach a quarter.
"Very well." Lia says with a shrug. She had voiced her concerns, and the others appeared to still wish to continue this. She hands over the requested crystal.
Kysdiane, feeling confident about the prospect of restoring power to the room for a time asks for the blue crystal, thinking that the goal is to increase the level to 100. However a quick look reveals there is only one slot left for a crystal. Perhaps reaching 100 may not be the goal?
(Someone has already come across information regarding this before on this floor.)
Realizing she is outvoted, Lia gives the blue crystal to test out.
Adding the blue crystal makes the gauge jump up in numbers drastically.
Kysdiane scratches his head, "So mathematically, that would mean that the blue crystal has a 'Flux' of 23. Let's keep testing to see if we can find the right combination. Usually too much charge is worse than too little, so let's start with the smallest charges and work our way up from there." If the others agree, Kysdiane wants to test these combinations (in this order), White/Green --> White/Orange --> White/Yellow --> White/Red. After each test, he makes note of the 'Flux' levels.

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
"Yes, that is the best idea." Renata agrees with Kysdiane, as the flux jumps in different numbers when the new crystal is slotted in. Though she is confused on what exact number that they need to reach, seemingly it would be impossible to reach 100 with them. She asks Lia and others on what number they should aim for.
"Why lad, ye be as sharp as tha teeth on a ghoul!", Gulgus agrees enthusiastically. He genuinely seems excited at the discovery and it's potential. "As for tha target number, I dinna recall anythin' that may have revealed that ta us. Maybe tha results of some of Kysdiane's combinations will point us in tha right direction."
After a small discussion on what to do with this new information, they agree to a more cautious method. After adding the green to the final slot of the panel and pulling the lever, the lights flicker dimly on and a soft, blue light near a button starts blinking on the machine with the domes and crystals. The button no longer seems to have a label.
Gulgus scratches his beard, an expression of deep thought on his brow. "Mayhap we should target tha number 42. I be told of ancient manuscripts were it be tha answer tae life, tha universe, and everythin' else!"

(Just want to say, that is great.) Avia nods her head. "Perhaps we try taking out the white crystal, and see what happens?"
(I'm getting confused now. To clarify, are you taking out the blue crystal and trying out the other combinations by themselves or are you leaving the blue crystal in and testing them?)
(Okay, then I am operating with the assumption that the blue crystal is not in one of the three slots. Correct me if I'm wrong.)
After a passing curiosity regarding the blink blue light, the party throws the switch back to the off position bringing the room and machine back into darkness and return to testing the rest of crystals paired with the white crystal, knowing that the white crystal is 9.
First, pairing it with the green crystal, the gauge reads 24.
Next, using the orange in conjunction with it brings the gauge to 25.
"What if..." Avia walks towards the crystals in the domes. "What if, we try chipping off a piece of crystal, from these crystals under the dome? Then we try putting it into the slots and see what happens? I'm out of ideas."

Kysdiane shares his suspicions with the group. "Perhaps we are meant to get it to 100% power. Let's try the blue crystal and see what happens."

(I never mentioned a label by that button before now. All I meant was if there was one there, it is no longer there, sorry for the confusion)

She offers guidance whenever possible.

Kysdiane shrugs, "Let's try out each combination WITH the white first, then we can swap it out and repeat the process with the next crystal."
Kysdiane is going to want to try out each combination listed above before testing any other combinations.
(OOC: Not sure what kind of checks I would need to roll for this...)
