Feeling fatigue catching up with them, the group returns to the elevator and to the top floor in order to rest. On the trip up, Kysdiane hands the necklace he found in the forge to Renata.
After the elevator comes to a stop and the doors open, the each person finds a place to put their bedrolls and get some shuteye, with the flying machines seemingly acting as silent sentinels.
In the midst of their sleep, they all pay a visit to the dream world.
Kysdiane:
Kysdiane sees himself walking through what looks like the edge of a forest. The sounds of wind blowing gently through the trees causing the leaves to emit their version of white noise. Slowly, but surely he starts seeing more and more sand until he sees a large tower of natural earth with a mound of sand on top with the remains of a wagon partially burind in sand streaming from above.
Lia:
Lia finds herself at the mouth of a cave, the stone around the mouth is a collection strange scratches. Suddenly, the stone she's been carrying the whole time appears in front of her and flies deep into the cave. She gives chase, but finds herself fighting against a fierce wind. It is going so fast, it is almost hot. As she fights, she sees a brilliant blue light at the end of the cave grow brighter until it blinds her.
"Soon..." a voice whispers.
Renata:
While Renata dreams, she sees herself in a grassy, hilly field in midday. As she looks to the sky, she doesn't see the sun emitting light but they symbol of Savras. Realizing this as a sign, she recognizes that she is currently dreaming and takes active command of her dream body. She reaches into her "bag" and pulls out the necklace and looks at it. Only this time the color is no longer red, but a golden yellow (Look in your character sheet).
Avia:
Avia's dream seems to be more like amemory, cooking large meals for her family. They are nothing too fancy, but the effort is more than noticeable. The table she is serving has a number of her family seating, patiently waiting for her to put everything on the table and sit down. She turns to pick up the last dish, but as she turns around, the table no longer has anyone seated. Confused and shocked, she turns around to look for anyone, but her kitchen has turned into a lonely coastal road. Looking own she is not holding the dish she was serving.
Gulgus:
Gulgus finds himself kneeling, studying ancient ancient dwarven runes in the ruins of a long-abandoed stronghold. He then starts hearing whispers around him.
"Cursed..."
"Graveyard of souls..."
"Should not be here..."
"Why..."
As the whispers continue, ghostly apparitions starts swirling about. He soon recognizes them as vaguely dwarflike. The finds himself surrounded by them as they get closer and closer.
(I will post XP on OOC chat, its been more than a while since I gave any out. Doing it now, because the XP load is getting a little bloated.)
Kysdiane rises at the end of his sleep which was mostly restful, but he is a bit confused by his dream. Shaking his head and resolving to figure it out later, he glances around to see who else is awake.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Avia wipes away a tear when she wakes up. After that dream, she is now in her Winter form. Her wrinkles are more apparent, her skin is blue, and her eyes are dark. She gets up and prepares some food anyway. She makes two pieces of Extra-Nutritious Grick Jerky, and makes a drink to go along with it. She also hands out water and cooks breakfast, so, "Everyone doesn't shrivel up like me."
5: Potion of flight
She asks if anyone would like her beef jerky(+2 Temp hit points), or her cloudy white potion, with blue flecks, that let's you fly.
Lia sits up, brushing tussled white hair from ehr face as she blinks sleepy eyes. She smiles as she sees others are stirring. "Ready for another day searching the dungeons under this place?" She asks, her voice light-hearted.
Renata wakes up. Her head feels quite clear, from a restful night of sleeping, but somehow she felt like she wasn't sleeping at all. It was more like a vision - of vision of Savras guiding her through a peaceful and mellow grassland, where she could see far beyond. She reaches into her bag and searches for the gem they found yesterday - and same as it was in the dream, the bright gem turns into a more tamed golden yellow, lying in her palm with a faint glow. She finds Kysdiane and shows him, "I think I figured out how to use this." She says, "it can create a sort of temporary bond between all of us, making us stronger as a whole. It also has the power of healing, when we needs it."
(DracheLehre: could you explain the stone a little more? There's 4 charges, recharges every night?)
Kysdiane looks impressed with Renata's new ability, "Sounds interesting... I'm sure it will come in handy soon." In response to Lia, he gives a smile and says, "Let's do this!" Unless anyone has any objections Kysdiane will head back into the box and press the button to take them back down to the level with the forge.

The next arid morning in the hangar, the group wakes up. The group returns back down to the forge to continue their investigation with fresh minds, fresh eyes and ready for anything that may come.
The forge is unchanged from when they last saw it. The grick corpses are still there, but now more than a few cave-dwelling insects are scavenging from them.
Okay, I don't know why it said I manipulated dice roll results and changed the dice rolls. I never edited the dice rolls. The original rolls were 4,7,1.
Avia commands Stata, the Weasel, and the Boar, to search the room for any trace of the Grick that ran away, or any new creature that has came in. Stata focus's on trying to smell the area, the Weasel focuses on looking around, and the Boar does a mix of both.
(I'm guessing the monster tooltips were the cause of the "manipulation?" This forum system has its quirks.)
Back at the forge, Avia pulls out an assortment of balls of fur, resulting in Stata being re-summoned, as well as a boar and a weasel of her own. She then sends them out to scout the area. The boar is seems to have some trouble finding anything of significance, as its sense of smell (being the most keen of the animals she conjured) is being distracted by the bodies of the gricks. Stata and the Weasel have much better outcomes. Stata finds a scent to lock on to and runs in the direction of the eastern exit and stands at the mouth looking back, But doesn't assume a defensive posture. The weasel climb into the partially opened hatch in the upper part of the forge and calls out.
Kysdiane starts investigating the exits of the chamber. He starts by looking into the hole in the south portion. Upon inspection, it appears to be more of the remains of a very rusted and crumbling spiral chute. Due to the many scraps of iron and frames, he is unable to determine how far down it goes. However, since he knows there is one more floor beneath their feet, he has a rough idea of what it is used for.
Lia takes a general looks around, not paying attention to anything in particular. While making some glancing passes (using passive perception) at the broken mine carts and sees some bent pieces of formed metal.
Peering into the hole and not noticing anything too out of the ordinary, Kysdiane reports his findings to the group before glancing up to see Stata near the eastern exit, and joining the large wolf by peering out that way.

Picking up a few of the pieces of metal, she notices that almost all of them seem are the same form. But each successive one has become of lower and lower quality. It seems that the forge was producing the same part for a long time before the fires went cold.
The group eventually moves to eastern entrance. By all means it seems to be a typical mine.

Avia Perception: 3
As they walk towards the exit, Avia calls back her creatures. She tells them to wait by her side. The weasel doesn't come back and when Avia looks for her weasel, it stands near a hatch. "There seems to have been a hatch back there. In that area." Avia points towards the hatch.
Kysdiane stays by the eastern entrance peeking around and trusting the rest of the group to call back if they notice anything truly out of place or dangerous.
