Still thrashing about in front of the three guards, the same troll falls prey once again to Lumen’s magic. His face contorts in a brief expression of pain, before shaking it off. It does seem a wee bit clumsy as it goes after one of the two guards who just burned its flesh with their torches.
However, brute force and terrifying intensity prevail as it swipes the guard across the back with one vicious claw and bites his shoulder. The man lets out a loud shriek, but remains focused and stays put next to his comrads as they prepare for another round of attacks on the beast.
The other troll remains in front of the stable From the back, you can see its wounds begin to close. Not fully, but its rubbery green hide seems to seal itself back up, and most of the blood stops flowing from Krackle’s sling stone.
With a powerful bash, it breaks its way through the wooden door and rushes inside, disappearing from sight. A moment later, you hear a blood curdling squeal that cuts above the the terrified clamor of the entire stable, and you can easily guess the conclusion, without even having to see it.
Amid the screams of the villagers, you can hear Madame Zoar shouting harried commands at the three guards. The half elf and the uninjured man break off and rush into the stable as well, leaving the third guard alone with the more injured troll. With an experienced level of coordination, he stabs his sword deeply into the troll’s hide, but is unable to land a hit with the torch that’s in his left hand. You can hear the other battle going on as well from inside the stable.
(Ok, everyone can post their next round of actions.)
Seeing his well slung rock fall harmlessly to the ground, Krackle would look towards Kess as she mentions fire. The tiny kobold would then quickly put his sling away before clutching his fist tightly and shutting his eyes. In an instant a small flame would bust into existence around this small clawed hand. The frail kobold would then throw the small flaiming ball towards the troll, sending it streaking through the darkness.
"Right... that was a dumb idea. Something a bit more... hot."
Kess waggles her fingers, and as if she were guiding a caravan of traffic through the busy streets of Luskan, she mutters an incantation and looses a Fire Bolt into the troll trying to still bust into the stable, hoping a searing blast to his back will deter the beast!
Chrys will attack whichever troll she can reach. If her legs can carry her inside of the stables, that is the troll she would prefer to go after. Of course, any dead troll is a good troll is what she thinks, as she raises her hammer and swings it at her target.
(I'll remind Kess and Krackle that their attack rolls are blessed... blessed means roll a 1d4 to your attack or saving throws, btw)

Drawing his sword, Lumen races up behind the troll and provides aid to the single guard that's currently fighting him. Throwing all of his muscle behind his attack, he drives his blade deeply into the creature's torso.
Reeling in pain from numerous injuries, the trolls spins around and lashes back at the half orc with two ferocious claws, Attack: 9 Damage: 10, Attack: 18 Damage: 8, drawing a gash of blood from Lumen's right shoulder, and then turns back to take a bite out of the guard, clamping its teeth on the man’s sword arm. Attack: 17 Damage: 7
Rushing forward to the edge of the stable, Kess is able to get a view of the troll inside. The sight is grisly indeed; it has torn its huge claws through the side of one of the horses, causing enough blood to quickly fill a bucket to spill out of the poor animal, and it is leaning down to grab mouthfuls of raw horseflesh in its mouth. Kess casts her fire bolt cantrip and easily hits the troll with an arcane bolt that slams into its back, causing a searing red mark to appear on the creature's mottled skin.
The angered creature turns around just as the two guards rush in to engage it in melee. It fights back with brutal and fierce intensity, which seems to throw both guards off their game. The half elf is able to land one shallow swipe on the troll's leg, but she us unable to find an opening with her off-hand short sword. Her companion has even less luck, as the troll viciously parries and bats his attacks aside with little effort.
Following closely behind, Krackle also rushes forward, and standing at Kess's side, he sends his flaming ball of magic into the troll's side, causing it to burn with even more agony. By now, the troll seems like it’s injured quite a bit, but still standing and lashing out with furious rage.
On his heels comes the dwarf, muscling into the stable as fast as her legs will carry her. Working her way into the melee beside the two guards, she looks for a suitable opening and swings her hammer with deadly abandon, bending and breaking bone and earning a nod of approval from the two guards.
(I'm going to bot Vesper's character this round, so that we can keep things moving. I'll say that she casts Fire Bolt, which seems like a highly probable action for her.)
Keeping a healthy distance from the troll that's now engaged with Lumen and the single guard, Vesper lets loose with an arcane bolt of fire that shoots forth from her finger. Attack: 8 Damage: 8 Unfortunately, it's a difficult shot, with the three melee combatants thrashing around so much, and erring on the safe side, her bolt misses its target.
Ok, we move onto Round 4. Everyone can post their actions now. At this point, both trolls are injured pretty bad, with the one outside the stable faring a little bit worse than the one inside the stable. The half elf female guard is injured and starting to appear worn down from the battle, while the guard outside is in a smiler state, but not quite as bad as she. The third guard, who is now inside the stable is still at full strength. Lumen is also injured.

Kess decides to join in with Vesper's casting and tosses another Fire Bolt towards the troll inside the stable once more, this time aiming for his face with the hopes of blinding or otherwise crippling the beast!

Doing his best to remain focused, despite been slammed pretty hard by the troll, Lumen keeps his blade moving as he looks for another opening. His persistence pays off, and he's able to cleave a deep gash into the troll's back, separating the rubbery skin with a thick, red laceration. However, he watches as the wound begins to close up almost immediately. It's certainly an intriguing, if not horribly discerning sight to see, especially up close.
Once again, the troll spins around to try and swat at Lumen with another vicious claw strike, Attack: 14 Damage: 14, but not before it swats, Attack: 23 Damage: 13 and bites at the guard on its other flank. Attack: 17 Damage: 7
Taking advantage of the double team flank, the injured guard tries unsuccessfully to drive his sword into the troll's torso, Attack: 20 Damage: 11. However, he this time, he's able to bash it hard in the face with his torch, which beings a horrid shriek from the creature. Attack: 9 Damage: 5
Meanwhile, inside the shed, the injured, burned and very angry troll takes a fearsome swipe at Chrys that would surely frighten and take down most folk. Attack: 11 Damage: 14. It then spins around and tries to pummel Attack: 21 Damage: 14and bite Attack: 11 Damage: 7 the male guard who's who's been waving the torch in its face.
A second later, Kess's arcane fire bolt slams into the trolls right shoulder, leaving yet another blackish red searing mark on its mottled skin.
Asit howls in pain, the troll is beset by another round of relentless attacks from the Half elf guard Attack: 11 Damage: 7, Attack: 19 Damage: 6, and her companion, who kills it with a powerful sword strike to the throat. Attack: 8 Damage: 9, Attack: 17 Damage: 7.
(Vesper, Krackle and Chrys can redo their actions, since the troll was killed before their turns came up.)
Chrys blocks the blow with her shield, and then growls. Before she can mete out justice on her attacker, the guards bring it down. She spins around, worried for Lumen, and finds him groggily stumbling to his feet. "Take care o' yerself," she yells as she runs past him, stopping to slap him on the shoulder and give thanks to the Duin that he was still alive.
Cure Wounds on Lumen: 7
She keeps on running until she's facing the last troll, hoping to give some relief to the other guard by providing a new target for the evil creature to aim at.

(OOC: this is what happend instead then!)
Seeing the troll fall to the ground, Krackle would quickly race towards Lumen. "Lumen! you're hurt again! I can help!" the kobold would say as his flaming hand cools and instead radiates with glowing energy as he places his hand on the knee of his bloody companion and casts cure wounds
Lumen thanks Chrys, then Krackle, once again, for healing him, and also once again rethinks his tactical decisionmaking process that keeps the musician finding himself in the middle of melee.
"Maybe you should stay back here and sling spells." Vesper says, seeing that Lumen is reconsidering his current tactical approach. "Or invest in a bow or something like that."
