You all carefully make it beyond the slick steps and push upwards. Taking your time with the final set of stairs, you all make it near the top. The pale green light you saw earlier still eminates from within. Arlo, since you're in front, would like to peak your over the ledge to take a look? Or would you all like to walk in?

Looking over the ledge you don't see anything beyond an open cave that has clearly been carved out, the winding stream that feeds the falls, and the source of the green light coming from deeper into the cave. The light is bright enough to be considered dim light.
As Arlo takes a look, the orange light of day fades to the darkness of night. You all are perched high enough to see the top of the town. You all can faintly make out the movement of flickering light, probably torches. A thoughts crosses your mind. There is a good chance that Orbid's thralls are sweeping the town for either you or your companions. Hopefully they found a safe place hide.

You all reach the top and stand before the green lit cavern. Looking in you see the the stream that carved out the cave and a walkway hewn from the walls. The dim eerie light allows you all to see the stream and path bare left. Weapons drawn you enter the cave. The rushing of water partially drowns out the clicks of flint and steel from Sieghart. With a woosh the area is bathed in torch light.
Is anyone wanting to scout ahead, or is the group carefully moving forward as a whole?

"I think if I were Orbid, I’d want to separate the group to take everyone out one by one. I say our chances are better if we move in carefully together."
The flickering torch light illuminates the path as it follows the stream left. Making the gentle turn a small, old, wooden structure comes into view. Taking a brief pause, no motion is detected. The building appears to be more of an abandoned guard shack. It is clearly a single room, maybe 6'x6'. An opening in the wall faces you, and is at about chest hieght. It leans left toward the stream from water logged age. The post lays roughly 50 ft ahead. Beyond that the cave bares right and you cannot see beyond the bend.
Press on or would someone like to take a second to inspect the shack?

Arlo looks to the others. “If you can give some light, let’s start it once we’re inside.” He then draws both axes and heads into the tunnel.

Catherine follows along, slow and cautious, her weapon at the ready.
Sieghart prepares a torch that he will light once he's in the tunnel.

Sieghart thinks for a second.
"I think if I were Orbid, I’d want to separate the group to take everyone out one by one. I say our chances are better if we move in carefully together."
"Agreed," Catherine says.
Arlo nods and starts to try to move quietly forward.

"I'll check out the hut" Lucas calls out.
He approaches the structure cautiously, looking for anything suspicious.

Sieghart will approach the shack with the torch. He will go inside and inspect it.
