Between the two attacks the puddings are squished into the corner (No way are you angling to hit them out of a corner and towards a window). They are both destroyed, acid splashing the walls, ceiling, and floor, the wood and decorations smoldering as the acid eats away at them.

This small room is filled with four floor-to-ceiling
bookcases. Each one is stacked high with books,
most of which appear to be fairy-tales and childrens
stories. A small armchair sits against one
corner, in which is lying a cat with an abnormally
large grin.
The books are mostly old, broken or worthless.

Al-Ashari with disgust on her face stepped back: "I hope this was all of them. If you do not mind, I'll go talk to the battler now." She would go downstairs, not bothering to ask the Duchess about monsters in her house.

„Well, this is a mess,“ Kale mutters to Thursday, carefully stepping around the carnage and making his way to the door. „I‘m going to find someone and ask if they know anything about this riddle,“ he says, „in particular, if Cecilia‘s the one who wrote it. The Duchess or Feste might recognize her handwriting, after all.“
First, Kale returns to the Duchess, just to confirm his suspicions, that the beautiful young woman in the portrait is, indeed Cecilia. As he is doing this, he also pulls out the riddle and gently asks her „Do you recognize this handwriting, my Lady? I found it in your daughter‘s room, and thought that perhaps she may have written it as a message of some sort to any who might be looking for her. If you‘ve any thoughts on the matter, I would love to hear them... anything could be a clue to help us find her, really, even if it seems insignificant.“

Soveliss raises an eyebrow to the cat and walks over to it, giving it a nod before asking, "I don't suppose you'd be able to point me towards something worth my time?" If he got no answer/reaction from the cat, he'd move on to try and find something with information about the city, or anything to help them find out more about what they are dealing with. He pays special attention to the older books since they might be more accurate.
"What can fly without wings?" The cat asks.
