Ignatia, you slowly turn the handle on the door.... and it creaks open. crreeeaaaaaakkkkkk
A cloud of dust poofs in your face. From standing in the hallway, you see a dust choked room, faintly lit from Flynt's torch. Without entering the room, and with your only light source being Flynt's torch, you can just generally make out everything you see on the updated map below. You'd have to go into the room and make checks to determine any other details about the items in the room or anything else in there.
...but from where you're standing and what you can see, the room seems empty.
Ignatia, you walk into the room and get a sense that it is a spare bedroom given its blandness. There's a slender bed, a nightstand, a small iron stove, a writing desk with a stool, an empty wardrobe and a rocking chair.
One thing that does catch your eye is a creepy doll which is sitting propped up in the window box...
As for the window, you take a look through it, and the way Flynt's torch is lighting up the general area, it seems to give you enough light to see a bit into the other room through its window. You think you see a bunch of objects draped in sheets.
Ignatia hastily checked under the bed and then exited the room.
" Alright then, we've got some interesting things here. The armour that battered Shae may have been part of the original security for the home, " Kill all who enter here without this symbol displayed sort of thing....""
" The skeletons I'm not so sure of....someone intentionally placed them there....I mean they may have once played the instruments there....some people have morbid taste."
Flynt nods and turns to the others. "Perhaps it is not haunted. The owner of the home may still be here, we just need to find him and ask him for ourselves. Either with words, or with the mighty force of our weapons."

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Ignatia, you open the door in the same way that you opened the previous door... not barging in the room, but just turning the handle and pushing the door open, if it opens. It indeed opens. Flynt follows you with his torch so you can see.
From standing in the entrance of the door, you can again only make out a few small details. You can determine that this is a storage room of some kind. It's very dusty again, and numerous objects in the room are covered with dirty white dusty sheets. You can see all of the details from the updated map below, but to get more details of the room, you'd have to go into the room and make any checks that you think are relevant.
Ignatia, you head into the storage room and notice a lot more items covered with sheets than you originally saw at the doorway. This room is big. Flynt follows you in with his torch so you can see. You start to really investigate the shapes, and perhaps even take a peek underneath a few of the sheets..... cough cough there is dust everywhere... and you see that it's a bunch of old furniture (chairs, coat racks, standing mirrors, dress mannequins, tables, etc.)
However - there are 2 things which definitely catch your eye when you enter the room and poke around a bit.
#1 - Near the iron stove, there's a sheet which is only half covering what you think is a large wooden trunk.
#2 - You see in the northwest corner of the room a narrow spiral staircase made of creaky wood contained in a 5-foot wide shaft of mortared stone. It goes down quite far, farther than you can see with Flynt's torch. It basically descends into blackness. (Updated Map below)
(whoever looks at the staircase will all also recall the letter you found in the clutched hand of the skeleton killed with the dart trap in the library secret room.... the letter is below, and it mentions the house dungeon. So you put two and two together and assume this leads to the dungeon referred to in the letter)
My most pathetic servant,
I am not a messiah sent to you by the Dark Powers of the land. I have not come to lead you on a path to immortality. However many souls you have bled on your hidden altar, however many visitors you have tortured in your dungeon, know that you are not the ones who brought me to this beautiful land. You are but worms withering in my earth.
I am embarrassed that you call me your master, and your pitiful excuse for a cult pales in comparison to the power I wield. Your miserable cult is a joke. This is not how Count Strahd operates, and I will not allow this farce of a cult you have going to continue bearing my name.
(this staircase is only visible if the party finds that letter, or with another trigger which hasn't been uncovered yet. So it's cool you guys found that letter...)
Ignatia - since you can't see in the dark (right?) and Flynt's torch only goes 20 feet, you only see darkness when you look down the staircase. You assume it goes down further than the ground level of the house.

The staircase is a shaft down through the house!
Ignatia stared down into the darkness....sometimes you had to go up in order to go down.....
And if this was the attic......where was the baby?

Ignatia shuddered as she passed the spiders but there weren't enough to make her freak out again...
Ignatia looked past Flynt to the southernmost door, " Lets try that one."
She walked towards the door and reached out to turn the handle...

Nothing seems to be outside as well.
(Hey guys sorry I’ve been absent, I just pulled three shifts in two days at work. I’m going to catch up as soon as I get home from work tonight.)
Shae takes a long look at the doll, to see if there's anything creepy about it.
Shae there’s nothing creepy about it other than it’s appearance.
(No problem at all!!)
Ignatia hastily checked under the bed and then exited the room.
" Alright then, we've got some interesting things here. The armour that battered Shae may have been part of the original security for the home, " Kill all who enter here without this symbol displayed sort of thing....""

" Nothing really screams Haunted yet does it?"
Flynt nods and turns to the others. "Perhaps it is not haunted. The owner of the home may still be here, we just need to find him and ask him for ourselves. Either with words, or with the mighty force of our weapons."
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Renny looks up at the walls and ceiling, "You really think so? Why hide and make people think your place his haunted?"
"No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow"
"No power in the 'verse can stop me"
Ignatia, you see a fluffle of dust bunnies under the bed.
Everyone is now in the main hallway of the attic.
Ignatia shrugged, " Well lets keep looking then", and headed for the door of the room she had seen through the window.

Shrugging, Ignatia entered the room running her eyes over the shrouded shapes warily....

What would you all like to do?
" Shae, you seemed to know your way around a chest in the other room. Did you want to take this one?"
She walked over to the stairwell and tried to look up it.
