Flynt, you go to open the door... and immediately after you make contact with the door, it engulfs your hand around itself, then taking in your whole arm into itself! The door begins to make funny noises with its full mouth from Flynt's arm, and you can also notice that it now has a few eyes sticking out of it.
The door has come "alive" and has Flynt Grappled he can still make a melee attack on the "door" while grappled, just can't move.
Renny - since you were Ready, you can go ahead and roll your fire bolt at the door since your reflexes caught the thing latch onto Flynt.

Renny, you're spot on. After the initial shock of seeing this freakish door come to life with teeth and all, you are able to refocus and send a firebolt directly at the door, and it smashes into it near the top, safely away from Flynt but still hitting the door. (5 damage)
The door still has a good grip on Flynt's arm, and it then tries to bite Flynt in the midsection, basically using its other side of its mouth, contorting in an unusual way. The bite is at advantage while Flynt is grappled.
Attack: 23 Damage: 11 (PIERCING) 5 (ACID)
The door sinks its teeth into the dragonborn, and it hurts. A lot. Many teeth which are at least a foot long sink deep into Flynt's midsection, and he then feels the acid burn as well. (9 piercing damage, and 6 acid damage taken). The door also still has a grip on Flynt with its other side of its mouth. It's contorted like a mother****er.
Shae and Flynt (Rd1) and then Ignatia and Renny (Rd2) are up! Feel free to go whenever and I will order the results of the turns properly.
(Flynt, if you do plan on escaping the grapple, the Strength check is at disadvantage. You can still normally melee attack the door though while grappled. Apologies if you already knew this)
You all are able to leave the master cultist chambers without any problems, leaving the footlocker alone.
So there is still the last section on this floor, or Shae seems to want to deal with the chanting right now. What would you like to do?
