Of course, you are all aware of a single creature that could alert the town of Drywood to your crimes. The one. The only. The Graphing Pigeon! You all look slightly behind the two engineers to see a pigeon with a little red bolo tie on it sitting on a pad of paper, “Coo?” You notice that every now and then it sniffles, like it has a cold.
Roland pushes Penny aside and claps his hands together. "HEY, DINGUSES, FOCUS!" He starts pacing in front of them cracking his knuckles. "As the girl said. This is a hijacking. No funny business. I don't know what I'm supposed to tell you to do, but I'm damn sure I know what to do if you don't do that thing when it is commanded." He smiles.
They both yelp and shut up really quick. Were this in any other case, they probably wouldn’t be so easily swayed. However, you guys have them in a pretty clear cut situation, they don’t have many options.

Ormond sighs, "I'll let the three of you run this ship for now. Let's keep that piegon in her cage, maybe bring her inside the cabin - she's got a nasty cough."
"I do want to know if we'd be closer to where we need to be if we just bypass Drywood or cut short of it," Ormond ponders aloud.
I believe that Deshi stated that his destination was Drywood. The map’s point of delivery was a colleague in that town. You could always abandon that. However, that would likely not go well over with the turtle.

"I'm for avoiding certain entanglements, too," Penny agrees with Ormond, "But unless you've got some sort of horse stashed away in your pockets, we're going to have to navigate through Drywood before we go somewhere else."
She collects the pigeon/cage. "Excuse me gentlemen, thank you, pardon me, pigeon coming through."
Holding the pigeon/cage, she turns back to the engineers. "Either of you have any thoughts on how we might enter Drywood with a short train and attract no suspicion? I mean, besides eliminating the engineers, of course, I think we'd all like another option."

They turn to look at each other and then back to you, before one speaks up, “No? Did... did you not have an escape plan or something?” The other one pipes up, “Yeah, I feel like that’s hijacking 101, if you ask me.” Followed by the other, “Exactly. Wait, run back around to that last part about killing the engineers. How’d we get involved!? That would be incredibly suspicious! If you want inconspicuous, just tie us up, ditch the train, and boom. Problem solved! Though... eh... if you could hit the brakes before leaving, that’d be great.”

"Don't move, or I'll at least snack on some fingers." He walks over and starts tying them up, one by one. "You know I actually bit off White Eagles fingertip once. Disqualified my ass.."
You tie them easily enough. If you have not notice, these men are of no threat to you. They are very willing to go along with whatever it takes to survive, so long as it does not interfere with their own morals.

Ormond nods his head, "We need to stop short of the town and just hike it - a shortened train such as this would bring too much attention. I also am okay with letting the Hippo bust up the controls some so that any reinforcements coming by train would have a hard time getting through. Once we're off the train, we'll need to hustle to town. Everyone, we should assume that we are all being actively hunted - especially after this charade." He then nods towards the engineer, "Thanks."
Ormond searches for rations and water from the Militiamen's packs, if any, and puts it within reach of the engineers. If he cannot find any, he gives some of his own.
The pigeon looks at Roland, large eyes blinking. This is an ordinary Graphing Pigeon.
Regarding the militiaman’s packs, you find two of them, as they were set for traveling. There likely would’ve been more, but you disconnected the other cars. It should cover the engineers fine... once they get their arms free.
