You notice as you're charging over the entryway of this cavern that the floor for the first 10' is actually very cleverly painted to look like stone, and not actual stone. some sort of trap obviously, but you have no way to relay this information...
The winged kobold is still dumbfounded and in shock while Kamag, Kod, Hordkhen and Delirious take their actions...

Hordkhen lurches forward into a charge as soon as place darts after the flying kobold. He draws his steel, and skids along side the creature and effectively flanking it before taking a wild swing from the shoulder...

Hordkhen can't make it to the flying one, Place' only could because of his speed as an Elk. But he manages to slice one of the normal kobolds in half. (You did more than double its HP in one shot, so, murder!)
Kod however cannot reach a kobold at this time, since the two closest have been slain. (I'll say you hold a strike in case one gets close enough to you)
Delirious sends an arrow past his teammates and into the chest of the farthest kobold, killing it.
Round 2: Fight!
Now that you're inside this section, you realize that what appeared to be a railing is actually cage-like bars that enclose the staircase down into the darkness, with a gate at the bottom. There is a key hanging at the top of the stairs.
Lyria sends out a ghostly hand to try and grasp the flying kobold's soul, but it is no longer in shock at the situation and just barely dodges the magical attack.
The wingless kobold, having just watched 3 of its friends go down, 2 of which in a most brutal manner, is a mix of terrified and furious, and is unsure which feeling to act upon. WIS Save: 18 Seeing the large blue dragonborn ready to cleave him like his friends just were, he decides not to give in to blind anger and runs into the open passageway behind the flying kobold whilst screaming his head off something in Draconic. (Sorry, Kod, Would have had him run right into your axe, but he rolled well.) Draconic speaking folk:

With a crack from Place's ramming, and another crack as its head hits the floor, the winged kobold starts quickly losing blood. It does not stir again.
You hear a commotion from the tunnel where the other kobold ran into. It sounds like many draconic voices being whipped up into a frenzy, along with the clattering of steel.
Kamag, Kod, Hordkhen, Delirious are up. The only kobold you saw has run into the tunnel, and there is a lot of noise coming from it now.

He sees the kobold who ran down there earlier yelling off towards the right-hand side. The noise of clanging gear and other draconic voices is coming from that direction, too, but none of the other creatures making those noises have come into view yet. It took 20' of movement to get to where you are now, 10 more feet will get you halfway down the tunnel, but probably not at a good enough angle to see very far into the next room. You still have the rest of your movement and turn. You can also make a perception check to try to gauge how many new voices there are.

On his turn, Delirious will move forward towards the tunnel that the screaming Kobold ran down and if I can make it to the entrance will hold his bow ready to drop the first non friendly target that comes out.

"We might have to greet our hosts at the start of the hallway..." Hordkhen grumbles in hushed tones- He walks to the hallway mouth alongside Kamag's flank, and readies his shield against his shoulder. "if we keep them here the injured can peel away as needed or just run.." He cranes his neck up and listens to how many voices and steps there might be and reports his guesses to his compatriots.
Kamag stands opposite Place' and readies a melee attack.
Kod and Hordkhen enter the tunnel and stand shoulder to shoulder, not really able to gauge very well how many there are. Probably at least 3. (kind of making Kamag's held action useless, but hey, protect the pup) Hordkhen places his shield forward, Kod takes a deep breath...
Delirious moves forward as far as he can and trains an arrow on the mouth of the tunnel, trying to look past his two dragonborn allies.
Lyria is up.
