Surprisingly, you are not noticed when you peek over the top of the ridge and look down at the small camp. Whether that was because you succeeded in being quiet enough, or because they aren't paying attention, you're unsure but either way, the cards are in your favor currently.
Observing for just a short time reveals that there are six human cultists and twelve kobolds in the group. Although the cultists act as if they’re the bosses, their leadership amounts to nothing more than ineffectual bullying. The humans’ weapons are stacked against a rock, out of easy reach. The kobolds have their weapons on their belts. This is likely a group of stragglers that stopped to roast a few prairie hens for a meal. The low spot between surrounding hills that they chose for shelter has tall boulders that have rolled into a loose jumble. In fact, it appears the surroundings offer no protection from attack and would make it easier for anyone to sneak up on them.
You haven't been seen, and you are all wearing robes. It would be easy to circumvent them entirely and move past, or gain a surprise round on them, or continue to watch, or something else I didn't think of. What will you do?

Chuckling at the situation, Hordkhen floats his thoughts; "...well that's a relief. Do we just stroll up while the ranger skewers them from above? Oh-..." he stops himself mid-thought, looking over to Delirious; "Brandywine- that's what you could add to that jar..." Pinching his claws together, to his lips, "There's a vine back west, 'Skjall's venom', drop some leaves in to really pepper it up.."
Alright if we ask them what they know we may get out without a fight but i fear we will run into the same problem of if we pass them by or we get in and out, and that is they might come up as reinforcements when we get to the main camp, and if we decide to get rid of them we should do it now while we have the element of surprise, also we should keep 1 alive so we can figure out a password or something into camp. what are all your thoughts?
Tar nods at Place; "...Agreed- we've got the upper hand, why not try to bluff our way into information, and with the ranger on overwatch, we handsignal for the first attack, if it fails or succeeds and we're done there, either way we keep the element of surprise."
well if we ask questions first they will have a chance to grab thier weapons even if they do think we are friendly I personally vote for keeping 2 alive but I can go with either plan
"Either way is good for me, because I'm doing the same thing in both plans. Although in my experience shoot first ask questions by force later is usually easier."
Kod says. "Circle around so when we approach we keep between the cultist and their weapons. When the killing starts they'll be unarmed. Whether they give us the information or not. Their will be blood." He palms his axe and prepares to go with the party approaching the cultists.
Grinning when Kod mentions there would be blood, "...Sounds good to me. If you want to take point, Place, we will keep close to your flanks. One of us signals or they go for weapons and we drop the hammer on them." Hordkhen looks over to the druid; "Or if you prefer i'll take point and talk first, leave it to you to decide who to spare or when to signal?"

Hordkhen tugs at his robes and starts to approach the camp- Looks around for any weapon racks in case they can approach to that direction to put them between- Perception: 22 , and when in range he hisses out an irritated and stern call to the camp, "...Why in the hells are you all this far off the path? Can you explain yourselves or do I speak to Landragosa myself?!!?" intimidation 5
The only gear Tar sees is the weapons that the cultists set to the side. Approaching from that side, several of the cultists jump at the sharpness of Tar's voice and spin around. The kobolds freeze and wait to see what's going on. One of the cultists answers, "I- uh- we- Landra-? The dragon? We just fell behind sir, I'm sorry. We got hungry and caught some hens if you'd like to join us? I think there's enough." He's eyeing you as if he thinks something you said was suspicious.

"Prairie fowl..." Tar flips his hood back and winces grimacing at them; "...Who is your captain? If you fell behind you probably didn't get the missive to head due south and double-back west- I was told at least 100 strong should be able to muster, how many do we have left, besides you hungry lot..!"
"Wha-? We didn't lose many in the raid I don't think. You came from the main force, right? You'd know better than we would how many are left. We're probably only down a few dozen, total. Why are we doubling back?"

Tar lifts his arm up to condescendingly point at the chatty cultist, "You're a coward and keep the company of deserters and if you don't comply ill drag you back and have you flayed!" Intimidation 13 , still pointing at this particular cultist, he jabs his forefinger forward in the air at him, while staring up at the rock where Delirious and Lyria are awaiting.
Delirious and Lyria, you may act. Take one full round of action, roll initiative. Whenever you're done with your turns I'll roll initiative for whoever hasn't yet.

Need to know who is staying up top besides Delirious, and who is going down the hill.
Whoever is opening conversation, what are you saying?

Delirious and Lyria hang back out of sight atop the hill while the rest of you casually walk down to speak with the cultists. What are you doing?
