OOC: Akai doesn't have the patience (or mental acuity) for riddles, but I would guess that Neverember may be hiding as a member of the performance troupe or a theater worker.
The sorcerer hisses his decision, "Hss, Akai has no patience for costumed fools prancing about, but if it leads to wealth and conquest, then let us see this 'theater!'"
Ian notes to the group, “How do we plan to approach this troupe? As viewers for the show, as adventurers jumping in making bold accusations, sneaking in, or some other ploy? I do not wish to jump into things without a plan in place. I happen to be somewhat of a performer myself, so there’s a lot of room for how we approach this.”
"I would prefer to attend a performance as an audience member, at least for an initial scouting run. It's the best cover for most of us. If you could infiltrate the acting troupe, so much the better."
Falshen adds, "I will see if I can get us tickets through my family connections - and possibly an audience after the show with someone in charge, if you fellows think it would be helpful."
Irma will join the members attending the theater as audiences. He will leave his shield and hammer behind but equip the dagger he picked up earlier, he will attempt to keep the dagger concealed on his person should they be searching for weapons.
Ian will busk outside the theater and hopefully make a scene and a good impression on his performance skill. He will then seek an audience with the manager of the theater operation to seek an audition for a part or as an understudy.
While Falshen secures an evening’s tickets for the Pink Flumph through his family connections, Ian gets himself into the cast of Kiss of the Lamia, a play about an evil Mulhorandi prince who is banished to a desert, charmed by a lamia, and sent back with powerful magic items to conquer his homeland in her name. The gallant bard is handed a bit role as the performer of a tragi-comic love song in Act 2, the original performer having taken ill after over-indulging in pickled prawns.
Ian has about half the day to rehearse, explore the theater, and talk to the cast, the director, and the theatre owner. How does he proceed?
Ian will spend the first part rehearsing until he feels comfortable with the part. Maybe an hour or two at most. Then he will first speak with the cast.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ian will ask the cast of the history of the theater. He will inquire about past patrons. He will also query about the stage itself, the lighting used, the mechanics of the sets, what lies underneath. If the conversation develops, he will push for more information about any special privileges patrons get with the behind-the-scenes or of any interesting gossip with those patrons.

OOC: Akai doesn't have the patience (or mental acuity) for riddles, but I would guess that Neverember may be hiding as a member of the performance troupe or a theater worker.
Irma raises an eyebrow in amusement at the news. "Well we don't want to miss the show. Shall we head out?"
The sorcerer hisses his decision, "Hss, Akai has no patience for costumed fools prancing about, but if it leads to wealth and conquest, then let us see this 'theater!'"
Irma nods in agreement with the Kobold. (Irma is ready to head out when the party decides a plan).
Gregor is ready to head out after confirming his arsenal of spells.
Ian notes to the group, “How do we plan to approach this troupe? As viewers for the show, as adventurers jumping in making bold accusations, sneaking in, or some other ploy? Ian nods, “I think this plan may work. I’ll approach it from one angle and you all another. A two pronged attack, if you will.”
"I'll provide communication between both prongs."
"Very well! Akai will hold his patience and watch as well, 'til time comes to leap forth!"
Irma nods in agreement at the plan.
Falshen adds, "I will see if I can get us tickets through my family connections - and possibly an audience after the show with someone in charge, if you fellows think it would be helpful."

Gregor will take an hour and 10 GP to re-summon his familiar as a spider.
Akai will likewise leave his dagger back at the inn and attend the performance with his spells and scales to keep him safe.
Ian will busk outside the theater and hopefully make a scene and a good impression on his performance skill. He will then seek an audience with the manager of the theater operation to seek an audition for a part or as an understudy.
