That stops Kei dead in his tracks. Not knowing what to do he traces sigils in the air and throws a pointed finger first at Ogmund and then at the boy. Three glowing darts fly towards Ogmund and two towards the fleeing boy.

Gerrard makes a few sloppy swings at the guards – concentrating his offensive on the older woman to the east, who seems more injured of the two. One of his swings connects, giving her another minor wound.
The priest calls out again, as he strides back into view in front of the table. "Surrender now, and spare yourself an eternity of pain!"
He reaches out and makes a pinching gesture. As he does, the flaming sphere is snuffed out like a candle. The priest then glances up and a glowing, levitating, spectral mace swings down upon Gerrard.
Spectral floating mace attack vs Gerrard: 11 . Hit: 6 force damage.
It's impossible to tell what's going on in the cellar or how many people they're facing, but the fight definitely doesn't seem to be going their way. With the big wolf and Gerrard in the way, Peri can't even engage effectively, unless he scoots under them and attacks he guards from behind. But that would leave him in the cellar alone, surrounded by enemies. Maybe the nobleman has visions of dying a hero's death, but not me! He pulls out a pair of darts and flings them at the old woman (#1: 24 for 5, #2: 15 for 4). Then he grabs the unconscious card player by her arm and begins dragging her back away from the stairs. "C'mon! There's too many, and they're all stirred up like a wasp's nest down there! We can find the stupid snow globe later!" ((Use his movement to drag the card player as far from the stairs as possible.))
Peri's first dart hits the old woman in her shoulder, but it's not enough to stop her. She continues to engage Bokowolf and Gerrard.
Grabbing the unconscious acolyte, he drags her 35 feet from the top of the stairs, her boots creasing a line in the sleet. (Which direction are you headed?)
Peri flees west with the unconscious acolyte, skirting along the edge of the ruins. (The skull dunes and the skiff are to the south.)
Meanwhile, underneath, Bokowolf stares down the blade-wielding guards, alongside Gerrard. Kei, his deadly finger still trailing a thin stream of smoke, watches both from a safe distance.
Both combatants down, Kei turns his attention to the stairs. As he begins to move towards the top of the stairway he is pushed aside by Peri dragging the card lady by the hair out into the fields. "Been shopping? Finally got a lady who'll go out with you?" The halfling beats a path straight past him without response. Must be going south. He descends the stairs just enough to see into the room without too much interference.
He reaches for his weathered cards, inspired by the sight of the other card enthusiast, and barks at Gerrard "I guess we're evacuating". A quick incantation as he runs his finger along the spine of the deck and the room below glimmers for a second. The time distortion finishing between Gerrard/Boko and their engaged fighters.
Each target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be affected by this spell for the duration. WIS 15
An affected target's speed is halved, it takes a −2 penalty to AC and Dexterity saving throws, and it can't use reactions. On its turn, it can use either an action or a bonus action, not both. Regardless of the creature's abilities or magic items, it can't make more than one melee or ranged attack during its turn.
If the creature attempts to cast a spell with a casting time of 1 action, roll a d20. On an 11 or higher, the spell doesn't take effect until the creature's next turn, and the creature must use its action on that turn to complete the spell. If it can't, the spell is wasted.
A creature affected by this spell makes another Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of its turns. On a successful save, the effect ends for it.
((If there's a choice in who it affects, the two engaged fighters and the priest, then other caster looking types))
