You hold a great feast for the large village and successfully push for the idea of the village council. The village is genenerally not too opposed to the idea of Gathrik, Glork, etc. to be on the council, but they have some concerns:
There's a feeling that a least some goblins should be from the large village, otherwise the villagers will feel they are have been effectively subjugated by someone else
To that end Hegar (the trader) suggests looking Naz'Tog (the guard captain crippled by Jardor). As long as he would cooperate, things would go smoother.
There's also a suggestion of a trial of skills, a competiion and festival combined to show off the skills of the council and prove they have what it takes to be on the council.
There is also some worry about the rumours of the cave full of hostiles you were in.
Serit
You are extremely efficient at lazying about and further recovers you injury (I think you injuries fully recover by end of week). The stealth thraining is started and progresses well. Making a case during the feast goes not go so well, but at least you only embarass yourself (a little) and not the candidates.
The mock attack on the willage goes OK. The militia responds quickly enough and the village seems secure.
Moxo
You are successful in making the canidates appear better with your subservience.
Other that this he is moderately successful in in the wekk in helping out hunting and herbalism.
(note: try to specify what you are rolling for on each day, otherwise it's a bit difficult to resolve a roll, when it could apply to any of several actions you listed).
Rohdin:
Previous week: Healing and general meeting go well. During the third day, you find in one of the empty houses a large coin, copper or bronze. The coin seems to have some gears and wheels on it, some rough representation of a mechanism. You feel somthing unusual about the coin, but cannot identify it from a simple glance. The goblins say a human hunter named Tonale stayed in the village a few weeks back, and this may be from him.
Current week: Finished healing injuries (except missing eye). Started training in healing. Your patrol results in no new nearby threats (except the cave from which you escaped), though speaking with Jardor, you find that there was an area further to the south, where even his giant hyena companion appeared uneasy.
Religious service: did you build a shire, because the goblins do not worship Helm. Their shrine seems to be to the goblinoin pantheon, although it looks dusty and rarely used. As a cleric, you know that many of the monster gods have not responded to prayers in a long time.
"I am ready to go. I am at the peak of my abilities once again, it would be foolish to leave the enemy a staging ground so close to our own. Also, I also owe one to those bastards. They took my eye from me, I want payback."
Rohdin is more than ready and willing to go back into the cave. She is fired up.
Serit turns to the group, "Listen, I know that I have made many errors in our short time together and I understand if it is hard to trust me because of it but I assure you things are going to change. That being said, these things in here hurt me, they hurt Moxo and took Rohdin's eye. Though they deserve a world of fear and pain we need to take this slow and steady.
"I believe I can take point with Moxo here. We won't be too far ahead though. Thoughts?"
Moxo quirks a brow about taking point but doesn't protest. "RightBehindYou," He assures, instead. And by right behind he means more like a good 8-10 paces... But Sling is readied and eyes open for any signs of danger.
You go inside the cave. From memory, you know there's a couple of dead ends mining shafts with some minerals that Gara noted last time but never investigated and there is the corridor leading to the first guard room.
Moxo follows Serit, sling at the ready. Moxo maintains a few steps behind, and a step or two to one side when possible to try and maximize his view and angle to take shots, if needed...
Are these rooms illuminated or do we need our darkvision? Do we all have it?
Serit is very stealthy, and as far as he can see, there is nothing in the early parts of the cave. Where are you going, the dead ends, or the first guard room?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Moxo should be ok with his Darkvision and will stealth a few feet behind Skerit keeping his eyes peeled for anyone moving besides him and his companions.
Moxo somehow stubs his toe against a heavy, solid and sharp rock. The words that unintentionally came out his mouth at that moment echo down the corridor.
You do not encounter any obvious threats while looking at the dead ends with the yet unidentifed minerals. Nor do you see anyone in the first guard room.
Anything you wnat to check/search/investigate/anything else?
“What’sTheseRocks?” Moxo quietly asks rhetorically upon noticing the unidentified minerals. Moxo licks and bites and sniffs them, trying to figure out what they may be based on his race’s tendency to be diggers and tunnelers. ((12 Investigation.)) Whatever he figures out (if anything) he’ll just shrug and follow Serit deeper in...

Are we ready to take on the cave one more time?

((Moxo would be reluctant, but rather go with than be left behind in the village...))

You make your way to cave. There appear to be no guards at the entrance. How do you want to proceed?

Rooms are not illuminated. I assume you brought some torches.
Serit opts not to take a torch on his stealthy progression into the beginnings of the cave system, relying on his darkvision instead.

Gara whispers, lets do it step by step, lets check the side corridors, to avoid unpleasant surprises behind us.
(Gara has 4 faintly glowing beads, but if need be he can pull a torch from his bag.)
