The sound the wall makes is hollow, there seems to be an empty space behind it. On close inspection, the wall is also not as solid as it appeared initially. There must be some kind of mechanism which opens it, but failing that, it could be broken and forced open without too much trouble.
You find a hidden lever to make part of the wall open. Behind the wall is a small room. The rest of the missing goblins (Brizz'nat, Klorg, and others) lie montionless on the ground there. It looks like they were simply tossed and left there.
They are not immediately waking up, but with no immediate threat you, Serit, and other villagers if you choose to call them should be able to carry them up.
Serit does help in bringng the unconcious people out of the cellar. On one trip he says, "Gara, is there anything useful in this hidden area? Did this barghest hoard anything useful?"
Gara nods at Serit. Coins and valuables for the town and pearl and magic items for us for now. Tomorow i can use the pearl to ritual identify the items.
Serit would do his best, and rope in other goblins to drag the body of the Barghest out to the street. He wants the village to see their enemy, "This creature was here, among you. It thought it could feast and grow powerful off you. Naz'tog was there to slay this thing and now you are free of it!"
Goblins slowly gather around the corpse of the fiend. One eventually musters the curage to approach closer and poke it with a stick. "It's dead", he says in disbelief, "it's really dead!"
The goblins burst into cheers and celebrations. A creature of their worst nightmares that normally the goblins have no chance against, was now beaten.
Naz'tog approaches the corpse and shouts over the other voices:
"Without the visitors in our village, this fiend would have beaten us, one at a time. They deserve the credit for slaying it!"
You hold the late somewhat shorter late night celebration (because most of the winners are barely standing). As per your earlier plan, Naz'tog, Gathrik and Brizz'nat become the council, and Bulpo becomes a mediator for the council.
I take a closer look at the wall.

„I found something...“
Gara looks if he can unlock the door...

I will try to wake them up, if it doesn‘t work i will carry them up one by one. (Most likely i will need Serits help though.)

Once all the victims are save, Gara will search the shop for useful thinks.

(My post didn't come through)
Gara would try to get the wounded fit enought, to celebrate the victory and finish the feast and give out prizes to the winners of the competition.

After a long day Gara will retire for the night. During the night you can see light burning in his place until long past midnight...
