Abraxas shares his realization that the pulsing is an anti-magic field with the others. Turning his attention to the glyphs, he'll ask for help from one of the others in trying to understand what they do: 27.
(OOC: Rolled with advantage, assuming help would be provided)
Harmony had heard Abraxas, surprised about the anti-magic field and thinking. She would help Abraxas with trying to understand what the glyphs are, even if she might not know a whole lot.
OOC: Since this is a mental check, I would treat this as more of a group check than a Help action, but since one of them was a nat 20 it doesn't matter in the end. I wish I could see what the other result was, but the dice roller results have been broken for ages.
Abraxas recognizes the lock as a test of arcane knowledge. Mixed with the antimagic field, opening the lock requires enough knowledge between two individuals, without the use of magic, to correctly interpret the glyphs, one person for each of the rows. Together, he and Harmony easily free the mechanism, and the lock clicks open loudly.
"Thank you, Simeon. And thank you Harmony, " Abraxas says. "The more minds the merrier," he says. "The door is unlocked, but can we tell much about what is beyond it?" He'll listen at the door or see if there is a key hole of some similar way to perceive what is on the other side: 7.
The door opens to another narrow hallway beyond; flat, unlike the previous corridor. The massive brick construction of the citadel makes the hall seem comically small, as two bricks cover the ten feet ahead before the hall turns to the left, ending after another ten feet at another wooden door.
Garu opens to door to a 20-foot-cubed room with another closed wooden door along the right wall.
There are two tall wooden tables in the center of the room, each with a large stone step leading up to it. The first has a large stone weight sitting atop it, while the other seems to have smaller pieces of wood scattered across the surface.
A voice echoes in your minds as you enter. "Bear you strength, or bear you intellect?"
Harmony sees the table, surprised to hear the voice in her mind. She isn't that smart, so she would go for strength herself. But then she had heard Simeon, confused. Can they choose both?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Do we think we can lift the stone? Or, rather, do you think any one of us can lift the stone?" Abraxas tries to peer at the table and see what the scattered pieces of wood are: 12.
"I don't have a clear view of the other table," he says.

"Well done," remarks Simeon as the lock gives way. "Onward then."

The door is solid, with no hole to peer into what lies beyond. Abraxas listens, hearing no sounds from the opposite side.

Keeping his shield in hand, Simeon pushes the party forward.
Garu opens the door, peering cautiously ahead.

Abraxas moves down the hall to the next door. He examines it for traps: 12.

Examining the door at the end of the hall, Abraxas notes that it does not have a complex lock like the previous door, and does not seem to be trapped.

Garu steps over to the door and holds onto the handle for a moment then pushes it open, peering inside.

Simeon's voice echoes through the silent room. Nothing seems to occur as a result.
"A valiant attempt," Mro Jus Bir offers.

Simeon nods at Mro Jus Bir and smiles faintly. "Worth a try, I thought."
The wood elf then turns and speaks to Garu, Harmony, and Abraxas. "As a group, we possess both. I suggest that it matters little which one we choose.
