If he sees none, he'll turn to the others, "Anyone know what those things were? Or why they'd be hanging around an empty farm?"
Manfred dusts himself off with a smirk. It was exactly his type of battle -- one where he had to do very actual fighting.
Looking to Survivor he nods and adds "Or why in the seven hells would there be two sets of foul creatures feeding off the same tiny village? This can be no mere coincidence!"
He tries to remember any lore or songs he had heard from his troupe about shadows and their connections, if any to succubi.
