Otrov, you jump back and dash past Dain, you move around the corner of the hallway to a point were you can barely see the light glistening on the slime. You shoot your crossbow and it hits, but with all the rubble you are not sure if you hit the slime or a rock, by the sound maybe both.
The slime starts to flow out of the rouble and quickly fills the southern part of the hallway. A few small rocks are still floating within it. It even reaches , but doesn’t block, the door were Relgalyn still stands. Part of the jelly swipes at Relgalyn
Attack: 12 Damage: 9 plus 5 acid damage.
For Dain: you are in a narrow hallway, between you and the jelly are 10 feet at the moment. The hallway curves for another 15 feet west, before it ends in a wall. The lined up rocks in front of the door indicate that there is another hidden door, but it will need an action to search and open it. If you move only 5 feet west you will still be 10 ft away from the jelly, if you move any further you will lose line of sight. Otrov is just north west of you and Relgalyn stands in the door you just came through. Relgalyn is within reach of the Jelly.
If i remember right, Relgalyn had the lantern. The jelly is still in dim light from the door but the rest of the corridor is in darkness.
I assume you will keep on using ray of frost to immobilize the jelly. Dain roll me 4 d20 to see if there is a critical fail. If not, we can assume you have no problem to dispose of him.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Three times Dain misses the slime, giving the creature enough time to corner them in the narrow tunnel. The slime takes one swing at Dain
Attack: 21 Damage: 14 and 3 acid damage
but misses and a moment later at Otrov
Attack: 7 Damage: 7 and 1 acid damage
who can dodge the attack as well, before Dain is able to open the hidden door into the main chamber of the temple.
with plenty of room to move it is easy for the three of you to strike down the yellow slime, only leaving a smelly puddle and a few small rocks on the ground.
"Moving on is fine by me." Dain says. He returns to the area with the fallen rocks and has Sabastian fly past it this time, looking to see what is on the other side.
On the other side is another dead end, from the layout of the whole temple you can assume there is a hiden door leading to the south east corner of the main chamber there.
So far you have the foyer with an open chamber north of it. The main room that got a hidden door north, that leads to two rooms nw and wnw of the main room before circling back to the main room. A coridor that Circles from the ne to the se corner of the main chamber and that branches into a coridoor leading east, but that ends in a cave in.
you discovered also a room wsw of the main chamber, but half of it was burried under rubbel.
You were at A, thats were you foundt the skeleton, and at B. You could try to move the rubble, but it will take some time ( several hours, if all 3 of you and the dwarfs work together.)
Go first.

"Another one of em for sure." Dain says as the slime thing attacks. He lifts his hand and casts...
ray of frost
To Hit: 14
Damage: 2
You do hit and the outside of the jelly freezes a bit.
Relgalyn will disengage and try and back up out of its reach, "You've got it Dain, kill it quick please!"
Bardic Inspiration for Dain.

1... 15
2... 13
3... 5
4... 12
5... 15
(And yes I had to go back in and double-check those rolls to make sure I was doing a d20 and not a d3... how simply stupid is this?)
As you miss attack number 2, do you stay where you are or retreat further west towards the blocked door?
Otrov please roll 5 d20 to see if there is a critical hit.

Otrov looks disgusted as the jelly dissolves. “Is anyone in need of rest or should we move on?”

“Yes, lets finish this and get out of here,” Relgalyn comments, still holding the lantern.

Back down that northern section of that tunnel then. Anywhere else we know of that has not been explored yet?
Otrov and Relgalyn can have a look at the map.

So have we explored A, B, or C yet?
