*Items we sell like the old suits of Leather armor and my gem do we get full value or half like Bhelmek is guessing?*
"Thank you, your Highness. You have been gracious in your generosity. I just hope we can make it bare the fruit you wish to have." Bhelmek will nod his head in a quick bow to the prince.
*That still leaves us owing 18 more gold than our 500 (assuming selling for half), is anyone else throwing in their own money? or if we are cutting something what is it?*
"Thokk, take the studded, you'll need it. Ulfric take the bow or the chain. I suggest the Longbow. Even if you don't need it you have it and you will be carrying extra arrows for Thokk."
"Taking out either drops the cost by 50 gold. Not selling my gem or spending my personal gold brings what's owed to 28 gold. Meaning we each get 4 gold and 5 silvers."
Bhelmek will pay the Bills and hand out everyone shares then he is ready to follow the orc.
Ulfric takes the bow and slams his great axe into it with all his not inconsiderable strength, splintering it into bits.
"I said I have no need for either" he says yanking his axe from the table, squaring up to Bhelmek with a mad glint in his eye and a vein pulsing in his forehead "and I ain't no pack mule either" he says, throwing the arrows at Thokk.
‘Cease and desist at once!’ Cries the prince, storming over to the bickering dwarves. ‘I have been reliably informed that the both of you are capable fellows. It seems I’ve been mistaken, as have been your references. If you do wish to dishonour yourselves I would have you do it elsewhere. If you can come to some amicable agreement, for the near future I will reconsider your employment, however as it stands, you are indebted to me already as you have taken my coin. Simply put good sirs, wind your Nine Hells necks in!’
For such an unassuming character, the prince flared up, red in the face and quivering.
Bhelmek calmly turns to the enraged prince, "I said I would do the job and I will. If your majesty wants me to go, I'll go. If you want me to do the job, I'll do the job. Decide." He demands looking just as calmly at the prince as he had at Ulfric.
‘You must forgive me, it was unbecoming of me. It is just this mission means so much to me and my people. I understand you are each your own person but I plead with you to put any differences aside and work together to aid me.’
The prince appears quite genuine in his plea. A distressed look covering his face.
"I have said I will, but, I am sure you understand, as a group any one of us can not be flying off out of control at even intentional insults. Let alone at imagined ones, your majesty. If it is going to happen, it needs to happen here. Now. Because once we are on the mission it not only endangers all of us, it endangers the mission as a whole." Bhelmek will calmly explain. "Here and now, even if thing go bad, you can simply replace those of us unworthy or even the whole team. Once we are in the tower, a second try, ... is unlikely."
With obvious great effort Ulfric starts to control his rage.
"If this smooth talker winds his neck in, I'll do the same, for now" Ulfric practically growls to the prince. "I would advise against telling me my business in future laddie. I'm no stranger to spilling dwarf blood" he says to Bhelmek, pushing past the other dwarf to grab a cask of ale.
Ulfric opens the tap of the cask straight into his mouth, quenching his rage with ale.
Calmly Bhelmek replies to Ulfric," Well at least you know your crimes." At Thokk's prompting, Bhelmek turns to the prince, "With your leave your Highness?"
The journey to the location is uneventful, long and tiresome. You follow the winding path which cuts across the face of a cliff with your guide dutifully leading ahead. The trail abruptly swings into the stone cliff itself and gives away to a 500 foot long and almost as wide cavern. The ceiling rises a good 250 feet above you.
Your guide says he must leave and beats a hasty retreat back up the trail. After a few moments of staring into the cave you see the tower, which you initially mistook for a stalagmite. It rises 100 feet in the air and is over 200 feet away. As you slowly enter the cave, you see more clearly that the tower has wooden ledges high up on its sides, and several small windows open outward perhaps 90 feet above the floor of the cavern. No other doors or entrances are visible around the base of the tower. You initially approach the tower from the south.
Ulfric continues to look around, somewhat aimlessly, as he spends time momentarily gazing at stalagmites and stalactites briefly thinking they are humanoids. (Even hanging from the ceiling)

*Yes that is correct, half selling value. Unfortunately you’ll have to cut something (hopefully not someone!)*
I take the regular leather then make it easier and lets us get moving
"Keep the bow and the chain shirt" Ulfric says. "I have no need for either".

"I'll be taking my share in hard cash" he adds
Bhelmek throws him 4 gold and 5 silver. One piece at a time. Into his chest. A calm expression on his face the whole time.
"Better here than out there." He says to himself.

Ulfric looks around to see whether there are signs of anyone or anything in the area, particularly tracks leading to or from the tower.

Any chance can I help him look ?
*You can do a specific perception check if you’d like. Tell me where you are looking and roll. That’s for everyone*
