This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Not wanting to just gawk through the window, Vin will act as though she's twisted her ankle, and with Mendax's help (presumably) hobble over to lean against a window sill, trying to discreetly peek inside while "tending" to the "injury."

Also, what do the people in the courtyard look like? As in what races and how are they typically dressed? All seem to be nobility, or is there a bit of a mix?
Vin, with Mendax’s help you are able to get a very good look inside.
Gazing into the center room you can see that the walls of the twenty-foot-high pillared room are covered in frescoes of bathing nobility. You can’t see more than the tops of a few people’s heads because of how high the stained glass windows are, but judging by the steam this is the room where the baths are located. The two other rooms contain massage tables, as you observe one a androgynous looking human in a white outfit walks in and briefly makes eye contact with you before closing the curtains.
Con is watching the people passing on the street, whether they look at the bathhouse, and watching people coming and going from the bathhouse, trying to see who they are, perhaps remember their faces. Perception12
While Kestrell waits for Mims to respond to him, he turns to Con: "Hey, we should get a room upstairs for tonight so we can keep an eye on the bathhouse from there overnight. See what kind of nefarious goings on are happening at night, that sort of thing."
Vin will direct her attention back down, as though to inspect Mendax's work, and whisper to him "nothing of interest, unfortunately. Some folks enjoying their bath, and some who look to be workers, but none that stand out as nefarious. I can't make out this secret door that Tarina told us about; I'm afraid we may need to get a closer look."
She looks down at her garb, which - while nice enough - is clearly of a more common make than the garments of the noble ladies of The Gate. "If the plan is to act as patrons, we might need to rethink our wardrobes to avoid any suspicion."
Kes, Mims cocks her head to the side as she considers your question “I couldn’t say if they’re ALL lords and ladies, but I imagine some of ‘em are, probably plenty of wealthy merchants and the like as well. Cheese? Oh my yes, with fresh crusty bread and butter, would you like some?”
Con, you get the distinct impression that Mims is not reading much into the topic of conversation and is just happy to be chatting.
Vin, you don’t see any guards, only attendants and the one masseuse. And yes, other than the windows, the courtyard is the only way in that you can see.
Vin will say to Mendax "Unfortunately I don't think there's much else we're going to see from outside. Let's make our way back to the others."
Vin will lead the way, stepping gingerly on her "injured" foot, and greeting Con and Kes as though they just happened to run into them there, pulling up a seat at the table. Glancing around to make sure no one is in hearing distance, she'll then lean in and quietly say "Couldn't make out a whole lot. Nothing that seemed odd for a bath house; I got a good look inside but couldn't make out this secret entrance that's allegedly in there. What's the plan? The way I see it, we - or some of us at least - can go in acting as patrons and get a look, see if we can't notice anything closer up, maybe ask some questions. We also might want to keep an eye on the place into the night, watch who comes and goes, maybe get an idea of who we may be dealing with in there?" She glances between the three, eyes settling on Con. "What do you think?"
We don't look rich,Con says bluntly. They won't let us in as prospective patrons. He thinks for a moment, making sure no-one's listening in. We could catch one of the patrons leaving, follow him, pull him into an alley, beat the shit out of him, and force him to bring us inside. Risky, though. He takes a drink of his ale.
Vin just blinks at him, head cocked to the side. "That's... an idea. I don't think it would be too much effort to purchase a couple nice outfits. I could maybe even sew something together. I could play the part well enough, I think. Kes as well. Or we could do what you suggest, but steal their clothes? Not my first choice, but certainly effective, and I could easily clean them afterwards." She pauses to think for a moment, and then sighs. "I'd just like to know where this door is before we truly make our move. It'd be quite embarrassing to sneak in there, and end up getting caught because we can't find a door."
((Now)) "Easy there, Con, control your killing instincts! Vin and I can buy a set of fancy pants, and go in there for a little bath, maybe a massage or three. I love this plan!"
"It's reconnaissance, Kestrell. Not a vacation." Vin scolds the young man, secretly hoping they choose the plan where she gets a fancy bath. They must never know, she thinks to herself.
"Anyway, unless there's any objections, I think that's how we should proceed for now. I can take Kes to the tailor, get outfitted, and we can go in and scope the place out, while the two of you stay here and keep an eye out for any commotion?" While she speaks she idly prestidigitates Kestrell and herself clean, as it would hardly do for them to try to act the part in fancy clothes while they themselves are covered in grime from the day before.

Con listens to Kes chattering away, and gives him a scowl, but doesn't interrupt.

Con, you observe that most of the people going into the Baths do appear to be wealthy if not necessarily nobility.
Vin, the its hard to gauge the status of the people in the garden as they are wearing plush cotton robes, but they certainly don’t look poor.
While Kestrell waits for Mims to respond to him, he turns to Con: "Hey, we should get a room upstairs for tonight so we can keep an eye on the bathhouse from there overnight. See what kind of nefarious goings on are happening at night, that sort of thing."
Did Vin notice anyone outside
or inwho seemed to be armed, guarding the place in any way, or paying particularly close attention to us?(Sorry didn't notice the addition to your post.)
Also - and sorry if it's been said already - is the entrance through the courtyard the only way into the building? Besides windows.
Con eyes the waitress; is she taking note of how interested Kes seems in the bathhouse? Insight 11
He also kicks Kes under the table.
"Ouch!"
Mendax crouches below the window while he "mends" Vin's hurt ankle. As he works on the ankle he asks Vin, "what do you see, lass?"
Vin will direct her attention back down, as though to inspect Mendax's work, and whisper to him "nothing of interest, unfortunately. "Right!" Kestrell winks at Vin.
"Yes, let's go. Should we rent one of the rooms upstairs for Con and Mendax? I close by base of operations?"
Con eyes Vin and Kes, sizing them up in his mind for fancy clothes, then nods. I think that works.
