"Well, now, I was traveling from Blingdenstone when I met Buppido. We were together for awhile, until we reached near Gracklstugh, when he killed me in my sleep, chopped me into pieces, and brought me here to his... shrine. I... I'm not sure which pieces are mine..." the ghost of Pelek seems to tremble a bit. "I'm afraid I don't know much more about this place, though I've heard it called the Whorlstone Tunnels, and other than Buppido, there's a derro in a funny hat that goes in and out of the narrow areas sometimes."He begins pacing around, looking through the mangled body parts. "I wish I knew which ones were mine..." he mumbles. With a start, he looks up, "Oh! I remember now. This place has a queer magic to it. I saw one of my hands, severed of course, animate and run away through one of the tunnels. You would know it if you saw it. It has a large black obsidian ring on it. If you do find it, could you take it back to Blingdenstone and bury it? Maybe then I could finally rest, and get away from this... place."
"Pelek, could you tell us a bit more about these caves? What should we expect ?" Then showing the derro unconscious on the floor, "we have the weird derro, we are bringing him to the authorities. And if we find your severed hand, we'll do our best to bring it to Blingdenstone. Any place particular you would like to bring to ?"

"No, I'm afraid I have not ventured far from this awful room, so I don't know what lies further in." Pelek eyes the body of Droki, "Ah, yes. That's him, although... he's much bigger than I remember. There are very small tunnels in this cave, and I saw him enter them, but he'd be much too big to do that now." He shuffles a bit and floats around the room as he continues. "I had always hoped to be buried in the catacombs beneath The Ruby in the Rough temple. You can't miss it. Yes, if you could find my hand and bury it there, I'm sure I could rest then."

Grimnir thought about what Pelek said about the size of the Droki. "I don't think we miss anything magical on Droki that would make him change his size...Unless the strange lump of black metal does something like this?" (OOC: any roll to identify the metal object ?)
"About the four small pouches containing toe nail, we should bring thing back to the stonekeeper. Do you think the Droki was into voodoo ? Or maybe just creepy ?"

(OOG Assuming you take a rest, you can roll hit dice if needed, Valrish can attune to the Boots of Speed, and I'll describe the things you've found in more detail. Anyone who would like to examine something more closely can roll an Investigation check, and tell me what you're looking for.)
Grimnir - Other than the lump being slightly heavier than it looks, you find nothing particular special about the metal. Inside the copper tube is a scroll with names corresponding to the names on the bags. At the top, it says, "For immediate delivery to Narrak," and below it gives descriptions of the contents of each bag by name. They all appear to be various collections of skin flakes, toe nail clippings, saliva, and hairs from Stone Giants.
Belwar - You immediately recognize the other scroll as a spell scroll and the books as arcane as well. You spend some time examining them during your rest and learn that the scroll is a spell scroll of Invisibility and the books contain detailed instructions for casting two other spells, Tenser's Floating Disk and Feign Death.
Oorr/Belwar - Pelek seems content now, hopeful you'll be able to help him out by finding his hand and laying him to rest in Blingdenstone. As he walks the chamber he points out that among the gore and bones are scattered coins. Altogether you find 10 gold and 11 silver pieces, and a piece of lizard skin parchment with a dwarven script on it that says, "Worship Buppido."
You are resting in the cavern. Droki is still unconscious. You have exits the way you came, back to another cavern and the area with the water. And another exit to the South East.

As you head East, you realize that the cavern so far has been lit with a dim light, further evidence of the Faezress. You hover noiselessly through the tunnel, but as Zippy crawls along the wall, he dislodges a few rocks that clack and clatter. Interesting enough, they don't seem to echo. As the rocks fall to the ground, they come to rest near the decaying skeletal remains of a humanoid. It is slumped against the tunnel wall, and is covered head to toe in yellow mold. You nearly pass it by, but you notice a glint of something on the skeleton's left hand.
You follow Oorr at a distance, so well that even Oorr doesn't notice you. You see zippy dislodge some rocks and they both pause to stare at something yellowish on the ground.
Oorr notices the glint in the skeleton's hand and tries to discern what it is... Perception 22
You look closer, and clearly see a sparking silver and blue ring on the finger of the skeleton. There is a yellow mold surrounding it, but the ring shines through.
Oorr makes a sign for Zippy to get on the ceiling. Then, he lights up a torch and tosses it at the mould-covered skeleton.

The lit torch lands on the skeleton, immediately catching the mold on fire. There's a bright flash of light, as the mold goes up in flames, spores and all. It burns quickly, and dies just as fast, leaving a charred skeleton wearing a gleaming silver ring.

The tunnel opens into a natural cave, wherein you see several fungal creatures dancing to a silent tune. Three of them stand five feet tall, while the others are half as tall. One of the small ones stands apart from the rest, its movements not nearly as frantic. Hunched nearby are two larger creatures that resemble apes covered with mushroom growths and yellow mold.
You recognize the fungal creatures as Myconid's like Stool though these are bigger in size. (You left Stool at the inn with Sarith, so he's not with you.) None of them appear to have noticed you or Zippy, or Grimnir, who I assume has continued behind you.
(OOG Haven't heard from Belwar or Valrish in a while so if you want to do anything while Grminir and Oorr are exploring, let me know.)
