OOC: Three initiative critical failures! Are we doing Mass Combat or something?
(OOC I'm not sure exactly what you mean by mass combat, but to my knowledge, no, this is just a normal combat. You just happen to have a lot of active NPCs. I'll post all of them at the same time to speed things up.)
OOC: Bit of a joke; I wouldn't expect that many critical failures from this few rolls.

OOC What is the difference in height between our shop and their ship? If there isn't any, is there enough space on our shop to make a running long jump? If I can, then I'll make the jump to land on their shop and attack the closest Kuo-Toa after raging 25, damage: 8. If I can't, I'll take the ready action to attack the first Kuo-Toa to jump on our boat without raging 18, damage: 5

The ships are more or less level with the decks, so you make the jump and slice deeply into the unlucky Kuo-toa (#3) that you land next to (KT-3 takes 12 damage, 6/18)

Derendil heaves a heavy sigh, "Honestly, can't people see we're just trying to get home? Shuushar, aren't these your people? Tell them my father will happily reward them for my safe return, and this awful curse removed." He then tries to angle the oar he was holding to push the boat a little further away from the Kuo-Toa ship. (Athletics11) Unfortunately the oar gets caught in with the oars of the other ship, preventing him from pushing off.
The eight Kuo-Toa produce nets and spears, rushing to the edge of their boat, and begin assaulting your own ship.
KT-1 Throws a spear at Oorr, Attack: 14, Piercing Damage: 6 KT-2 Throws a spear at Derendil, Attack: 9, Piercing Damage: 3 KT-3 Stabs his spear at Valrish, Attack: 23, Piercing Damage: 10 KT-4 Attempts to throw a net on Valrish, Attack: 16 (If it hits, Valrish is restrained) KT-5 Throws a spear at Grimnir, Attack: 5, Piercing Damage: 6 KT-6 Throws a spear at Eldeth, Attack: 21, Piercing Damage: 3 KT-7 Throws a spear at Sarith, Attack: 21, Piercing Damage: 3 KT-8 Throws a spear at Jimjar, Attack: 20, Piercing Damage: 7
(OOC really sorry about the manipulated notice. I keep having to fix parsing errors. I consider what's there the final rolls.)
As spears clatter on to the deck Sarith and Jimjar yell in pain.Valrish is stabbed and the restrained by a net on the deck of the Kuo-Toa ship.
Shuushar call out to the leader, "Peace friend, we come in peace! I am Shuushar the Enlightened, and I bring a message of joy to our people!"
"Heretic!"shouts the Kuo-Toa leader, and the assault continues.
Bupiddo rushes to pick up a spear the Eldeth deflected with her shield. He tries to throw it back at one of the Kuo-Toa. Attack: 18, Piercing Damage: 4. As small as he his, he five the spear a good heft and it slams into the side of one of the fish people (KT-6 takes 4 damage). Bupiddo cackles, giddy with excitement.
Oorr whispers the word of a spell, spell of plant conjuration, and immediately fires a bolt toward the fish-man who apparently is the chief (Kuo-toa monitor). "Zippy stay there!"

The cross bow bolt sinks deep into the Kuo-Toa Monitor's shoulder nearly severing the arm from his body. (9 damage, 47/65) Immediately vines sprout from the wound and begin crawling across the monitor's chest, seeking to wrap him up tightly. Strength Save: 12 The slippery Kuo-Toa just barely manages to wriggle free of the vines and they shrivel away.

Jimjar twirls a dagger and flips it at the most injured Kuo-Toa: Attack: 11, Piercing damage: 7, but the dagger flies too high, sticking into one of the Kuo-toa ship cabin walls.
Meanwhile, Sarith pulls Stool behind him and prepares to deflect any spears or nets thrown their way.
Eldeth follows Bupiddo's cue, picking up a spear and hefting it at the Kuo-Toa: Attack: 9, Piercing Damage, 1. The weapon is slick with some slimy substance, and she is unable to throw it far enough.

The Kuo-Toa Monitor leaps down after Valrish and attempts to knock the barbarian unconscious by biting at him and striking him with his fists. (With advantage due to being restrained by the net.)
The monitor delivers a severe beating to the dragonborn, but Valrish's rage ensures he barely feels the attack of the Kuo-Toa. (Valrish takes 3 piercing damage and 4 bludgeoning damage.)
