OOC: Outch !!!! Didn't think it could hurt so much !!!!
the spear I catched was the one before the monitor (kt4 rolled a 22) . If the kt1 was already down, I aimed for the most hurt kt.
Ah, okay, but that was also a melee attack, not ranged (I indicated he stabbed you, as opposed to threw it at you) so would not be able to be deflected. You kind of jumped into the middle of them all!
OOC: getting my ki back then... although not gonna help with me unconscious :)
At this point the fire from the bonfire has expanded more, as more of the ship starts to burn. Some of the Kuo-Toa closest to the fire begin to sense the heat.
Apparently his skin is so slippery, even magic slides right off.
I just remembered that I was concentrating on create bonfire. Casting a concentration spell forced me to drop the spell I was already concentrating on.

Yes, see above. We'll say the initial spell has gone away, but the boat itself is now on fire, and growing.

I started working on that post before I saw yours. Sorry.

The monitor takes a savage hit from Valrish's shortsword. (6 Damage, 35/65)
Derendil starts to breath heavily as the battle intensifies. The spears thrown from the fish people, the sight of Grimnir being beaten down into the deck. The Quaggoth throws down his oar, and let's loose a yell, unlike his usual soft elven speak. His eyes go almost red as he leaps across the boat into the fray, massive claws slicing out at the Kuo-Toa nearest him (6).
Multiattack: Claw 1: 9 Claw 2: 14 (OOC ....wow) Unfortunately his wild swings find no purchase in the flesh of a Kuo-Toa.
The Kuo-toa toward the back of the group, sensing the heat, turn to find a fire spreading across the back of the deck. Two of them (7 and 8) rush away from the battle to deal with the fire. The rest continue fighting.
KT-2 Stabs his spear at Jimjar, Attack: 9, Piercing Damage: 5 KT-3 Stabs his spear at Valrish, Attack: 9, Piercing Damage: 4 KT-4 Stabs his spear at Derendil, Attack: 23 Piercing Damage: 3 KT-5 Throws a net on Bupiddo Attack: 17 KT-6 Throws a spear at Eldeth, Attack: 8, Piercing Damage: 5 (OOC .... wow again, but this time it's in your favor!)
Shuushar continues his meditating, neither attacking or defending.
Bupiddo, narrowly dodging a net thrown at him, grabs the dagger out of the cabin wall, then immediately spins to attack the Kuo-Toa who just tossed the net. Attack: 21, Piercing Damage: 5 Yet another miss.

Oor and Zippy contineu the fight, but the steeder's bite just misses the Kuo-toa.
Jimjar takes another dagger stab at KT-2 Multiattack: Dagger 1: 11 Piercing Damage: 6 Dagger 2: 17 Piercing Damage: 4 Two vicious hits to the fish flesh of the monster. It's hanging on by a thread (KT-2 2/14)
Stool, Sarith, and Eldeth remain in a defensive position on your boat, but Sarith decides to chuck one of the fallen spears back at the Kuo-Toa, aiming for those nearest where Grimnir fell. Attack: 4 Piercing Damage: 5 Unfortunately he doesn't really put a lot of effort into it.
The Kuo-toa monitor sees an opportunity to unleash on the barbarian thanks the reckless attack that left him vulnerable.
Bite: 26 Piercing Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. Unarmed Strike 1: 10 Bludgeoning Damage: 3 + Lightning Damage: 2 Unarmed Strike 2: 21 Bludgeoning Damage: 5 + Lightning Damage: 2 (Edit: I'm pretty sure I screwed up on the damage rolls here, but since they didn't hit, I'm not going to edit them)
Amazingly, Valrish is able to block the brunt of the attack with his shield, and only suffers a slight bite from the monitor (Valrish takes 1 point of damage)

3, 4, 5, and the monitor are all standing in a 10 foot square area. Bupiddo, Valrish, and Grimnir are on each side of that grouping. So imagine the 4 kuo-toa clumped by the edge of the ship. Valrish is on the opposite side, Grimnir to the right, and Bupiddo to the left.
2 and 6 are fighting their own battles to the sides. 7 and 8 are putting out the fire.
The first Kuo-Toa sees you coming and ducks, still getting a partial hit of the blast. The other 3 however are taken by surprise as fire from Belwar's hands engulfs them.
OOC: Ok :)
Sorry about the all confusion. I don't know why I though the monitor was a bit separated from the others, that will teach me !!!

No worries, don't be afraid to ask clarification on anything. It's easy for stuff to get missed, or I might forget about something too.
