Kronk starts jumping up and down, "Whoooee, waterwave fun never Kronk do!" He looks at the captain. "You bes driver floater thing?" (are you the captain?) He hops aboard and start looking at and into everything, sort of like a giant, slightly deranged kid. "Goodies be we loverning this fine adventure." He chews experimentally on one of the lines as he seems to find the smell of tar delicious.

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
You all board the ship, one by one. As you come up to the top to meet the captain, you hear her voice. Referring to Kronk, “Aww.. he’s cute.” Harq, when you go up to greet her, you see a beautiful aquatic half-elf woman. “The Caladan? Oh.” For a brief moment, her gaze falls to the floor. Almost immediately after, she goes back to being cheery. “Well, thanks for the booze. You know our kind need it time to time. We can definitely drink when we leave this damn town.” Seeing Skarhys come behind all of you, she grabs him by the shoulder and moves him aside (friendly, not violent). They start talking. What will everyone do?
Brodan will move off to the side as he tries to get a basic layout of the main deck of the ship. He muttered about wanting the feeling of sold stone beneath his feet. As he speaks he seems to mutter to himself in a few different languages.
Helena quietly follows the group around the ship, simply waiting behind everyone. She opens her mouth to ask the captain a question but is too late as she takes Skarhys aside. Whilst waiting for a chance to speak, she'll try and listen in on their conversation.
Helena, you silently move toward Skarhys and the captain. You hear Skarhys’s usual voice variety as he talks to the captain, but it seems like you missed a part of their conversation. “–and I’d like to get it. You know how important this is to me. Important enough for me to call in my favor. I hate saying this, but you do owe me.” You were stealthy enough to be able to see them as well without getting caught. You see the captain nodding. “Please, Brynn.” The captain, who you now know as Brynn, crosses her arms. You hear her voice. “Alright, alright. Just make sure your friends don’t get into any trouble. My debt is to you, not to them.”
After leaving the captain with her booze, and exploring the ship, Harq will watch Skarhys and try to find a time to catch him to ask "So... As a traveler you must understand that a the vague promise of some kind of treasure isn't really enough. Be a bit more specific about what our take is to find this gem for your boss." He continues asking "Also... this is not a traditional crew for an upstanding citizen. No judgements here of course, I'm quite happy with the ship, but I'd love to hear more about how you came upon an agreement with such folk."
At some point after he'd also like to ingratiate himself with the crew. So will try to find the Chief Mate, along with any other officers near him, and again see if any would like a drink.
Kronk is in absolute delirious with delight, he climbs the rigging, sniffs the sail cloth, eats tar from any buckets he finds and finally settles in in the crows nest. "Kronk bes joyousliousness complete!"

The ship leaves the dock, going parallel to the land. It is going in the direction of the hills on the map. From the current position, it would take about 3 days to get to the island. The Sea Lady looks mostly clean. Someone with experience on a ship would be able to figure out that it probably docked at Tarnos to fix up the damage from a recent battle. It’s a large ship, made out of the best materials a pirate could buy. Some of the wood looks out of place, as if it replaced older planks.
Harq
When you talk to him, Skarhys tells you, “You know you’re here to help me take back my beautiful gem, right? Well, based on the information I have gathered, the person hiding my treasure from me has his own gold as well. As payback for all these years I lost trying to find it, I plan on taking my payment with interest. I’m sure there’s more than enough to buy you your own fleet. Besides, I know my wares are almost useless to a strong group like you bunch. Everyone has their own wants and needs.” Skarhys turns to leave, but as he walks away, he says, “As for the crew here, their captain owed me a favor. She’s eager to get out of her debt to me.”
Harq, you look around the ship and meet the crew. While talking to a man cleaning the bottom deck, you hear a gruff voice behind you. “Harq? That you buddy?” You turn around to see a man with a very large build, both tall and very muscular. In the light of the lanterns, you see the face of Mulke, a man who served on the Caladan alongside you. Roll a history check to see what you remember about him.
Knowing the trip is going to take days, Lia decides to make some friends among the ship's crew. She would look to play some dice, chat with people, and just be friendly and maybe a bit flirty.
Brodan first and foremost works on getting his sea legs so that he will not end up being miserable for the entirety of the trip. Once that is done he will move to simply observe the crew as they work and go about their daily routine.
You remember Mulke as being passed over as first mate on the Caladan due to your actions. You revealed that he had been stealing pieces of gold and if he remembers what you did, he probably harbors resentment towards you.
Mulke laughs heartily. “The Sea Lady’s wonderful. She’s sturdy and packs quite a punch.”
Though she was about to ask the captain a few question, they are answered as she listens to their conversation. Hearing everything she needs, she heads to the top deck to appreciate the view for a while, chatting with whoever of the ship's crew passes by. She tries to get them to tell her more about the captain and the history of the ship and crew.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
insight 23 - does he know/remember?
((and he's the first mate here yeah?)) "You finally got that promotion you ol bastard! Good on ya!" Harq says, laughing and trying to get a read on his old crew mate, adding "Looks like we'll be on your ship for a bit. Bird fella promised some reward to find somethin' uh his. After leaving the Caladan I figured it's time for another adventure."
You attempt to ask the crew about the history of ship. Most of them ignore you and focus on the new booze their captain decided to share with them.
Harq
It doesn’t seem like Mulke is angry with you. He seems genuinely happy to see a former friend from the Caladan. However, you get the feeling he’s hiding something.
I just realized we’re kind of dealing with two different timelines now so to connect them, I’ll say Helena and Harq’s posts were from the night they boarded the ship (as the sun had just set).
Everyone can take a long rest for the night, as it is probably really needed after that bar fight.
The next day (aka Day 1 out of 3), Lia plays dice with the crew, mostly working on making friends and flirting with a few. Brodan, on the other hand, is focused on getting his sea legs and tries hard to not be nauseous. What does everyone else do during the first day?
Brodan, can I get a con check?
