Helena/Brodan You two look around for any buckets you can use to clear out the water in the hold. You find three buckets in total.
Lia
You can barely hear it, but there is, in fact, a groan. You feel the crystal around your neck begin heating up intensely. Anyone who’d touch it would immediately be burned, but you are not. You can feel the entity stirring, as if waking up from a long nap. Your mind suddenly becomes completely blank, and you can think nothing but the words “Be alone.”
Helena sighs but takes one of the buckets and start throwing water out with Kronk. She turns to Brodan. "Try and find some other things you can use to throw out water. Bowls or even cups. The more people we have on this, the better."
(If there are any empty barrels, could we fill them with the water and get someone, maybe Kronk cuz he's strong, to bring them to the top deck to empty then out?)
I’ll give you this one: The barrels that were knocked back by the water from your previous attempt to block the hole were opened, and its contents burst out, splayed all over the floorboards and are now floating in the water. You could use them if you want, but Kronk will need to roll a strength check.
Lia, with water swirling around her, and her tunic plastered to her thighs, looks around.
"I am going to search..." She says, heading off from the others. She moves into the first room she can find, that had no one in it.
"I am alone..." She thinks as she pulls a crystal from inside her tunic's neckline. She brushes her white hair back from her face as she feels the crystal in her palm, the heat soothing rather than scorching. "What do you wish of me?"
Kronk You lift one full barrel with ease, but seemingly struggle with the second, before you can place both on your shoulders.
Lia For a moment, the crystal glows. Then, a ghostly semi-transparent being flows out of the crystal. It speaks with a real voice, instead of the usual telepathy. “Girl. You must do something for me. There are more of those in the world.” As your patron says that, it points at your crystal. It continues, “Each one contains a fraction of my essence, and if you can collect them, we will both have more power. I can barely sense one now. It’s far, but closer than any others.”
"I have no problem with that." Lia agrees with a shrug. "As long as there is more power for me as well, then help me find them and I will do what I can to gain possession of them."
Lia “The closest one, I can feel it. It’s hard to see exactly where, but I can sense it in the hands of an orc, somewhere north. You need to get off this ship.”
Kronk/Brodan/Helena Brodan and Helena continue using the buckets to fill up the barrels, while Kronk takes them to the top deck and dumps the water out. In about 10 minutes, you are able to bail out all the water. What will you do now?
Harq Brynn comes back to the helm to see you steering while Skarhys helps you navigate. As she gets close, she seems to have an angry expression form on her face for an instant before it disappears just as quickly. She says, “I was down there when the rocks tore through the hull of my ship. I don’t know what happened up here, but we’re lucky your big friend could make the quick fix.”
Lia The ghostly entity shakes what seems to be its head. “The moment you touched that crystal, you gained access to a very small portion of my abilities. There isn’t much I can do with such little power, aside from empowering you and influencing tiny things. I can’t sense if the orc has companions, but I do know that he has an ally... something truly evil. You need to take my—our—crystal from him.”

"The storm was too much to handle! But I think we've got it now."Harq says, handing the wheel back over, adding "How are things below?"
Helena leans on the side of the ship for bit, letting out a sigh. "Lets just hope we won't need to do that again. Good job, Brodan, Kronk."She'll just hang around in the lower deck in case something happens again.
"Soonest to be on feels solid grounding," Kronk seems to be anxious to be on with the quest, hopefully a bit drier part of the quest. "Soonest long to landings?" he asks the captain.

Brodan will move to find the bucket as well, grumbling to hisnelf for accepting any kind of job that dealt with a boat.

Kronk will grab two buckets and start bailing at a furious rate.
”Kronk under not water, Lronk under water not,” he chants rhythmically as he bails.

((You’re in the lower decks, you’d have to run back to the surface to throw the water out.))

Brodan will nod before going off to see if there are any more places where they will need to bale out water.
