Tarak's pupils seem to grow; the blackness swallowing up his entire eye. Faint sparks of silver and gold collide within where his iris used to be. From his vision... everyone looks like the mysterious person. All standing around... all needing to be destroyed as quickly and violently as possible....
With Morgan, and Lafetha nearby, they hear the faintest whisper come from their Paladin friend. Oh Seeker Mine...
((Everyone, roll initiative))
Round 1 (Begin)
Situation: Abigail is caught, her hand being grabbed by the mysterious figure. Lafetha and Tarak are side by side, with Tarak quickly going on the offensive and no longer himself. Morgan is somewhat between the two in the bar, as the patrons have yet to realize what it likely about to happen.....
Tarak looks around as his friends suddenly vanish and the traitor splits into multiple copies of himself and roars with frustration. “Where did you send them? You will tell me before you die!!!!”
Then he launches himself at one of them swinging his great sword in a mighty arc.

The Mysterious Man: Moves / breaks out of the grapple / continues to move into the streets and ducks around - breaking line of sight. 22.
Patrons: look over at Abigail trying to grab the guy.
((Auto for Tarak: 7))
Round 1 (End)
Summary: Abigail runs to the door, trying her best to prevent the Mysterious Person. A brief dialogue moves between them, but the cloaked figure makes a break for it. Abigail makes an attempt to grapple, but doesn't manage to grab ahold of anything enough to keep the figure pinned down. They slip by, and dart off into the night after breaking line of sight.
The patrons look over at Abigail, raising a eyebrow, before continuing their day. Morgan - seeing Tarak change - casts on Tarak before grabbing a hold of him. Keeping him in place. Lafetha takes a quick cast of a spell, the vines extending out from her and lashing at the Paladin but to no effect. Tarak, grappled, seems to ignore it and just takes two swings. The first at Morgan and the second at Lafetha. Both attacks do strike wide and away.
Round 2 (Begin)
Situation: Abigail is by the door, having seen the person run off around the side of the building. (Action to use Perception, Disadvantage on the roll. DC 22)
Morgan is grappling Tarak. Lafetha is within 5 feet of the two.
(Tarak is Hexed - STRENGTH, and if Morgan continues to grapple under the grappled condition)
Morgan continues to grapple Tarak, "Guys, we need to knock this guy out, I don't think I can hold on for much longer!" Morgan will drag Tarak 15 feet away form where the stranger left the room.
Two other people in the tavern also rush over; helping Morgan to grapple with the Paladin.
"Whoa there buddy, put the sword down."
Round 2 (End)
Summary: Abigail runs outside, looking around but is unable to find the cloaked figure. She has an idea of the general direction, but after that it's just into the town. And it's very likely with the figure being a local - she won't be able to find him without a painstaking process.
Some of the patrons of the inn see the upcoming skirmish. Not entirely knowing what's going on, they rush in to help. Grabbing at Tarak and together with Morgan, pushing him back and further away from people. Lafetha seems stunned (past 24 hours) and simply stands there. Tarak takes two swings. The first stabbing down and into Morgan (14+6 : 20 attack for 15 Damage). The second blade turns and strikes down one of the patrons. The greatsword digging through the shoulder and stopping just below the lugns.
Round 3 (Begin)
Abigail is by the front door, 30ish feet away from the now melee going on. Morgan (bloody) is holding on to Tarak and near dead. The other patrons in the tavern are currently shouting and clearly going to be getting the guards / together to now likely arrest - and worse - for the murderous Paladin.
Lafetha is about 15 feet away from it, seeing the dead person and Morgan teetering on death.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Morgan spits the blood on their on to Tarak, "I baby sit you to the iron hermit and this si how you repay me?" Morgan's pupil's trun itno blood red slits (Hex Blade's curse) Morgan releases the grapple takes out the rapier (Ghostblade is in another dimension) and gives two swings (nonlethal) Attack: 14 Damage: 14 Attack: 11 Damage: 9
Summary: Abigail darts over, seeing the person fall and Tarak clearly engaging the room. She slips past a wild swing, using the opening of the softer joint area to thrust a dagger deep into Tarak (21). Lafetha, standing somewhat nearby, lashes out with her thorn whip (11 + 6 is 17. Don't know why you rolled +2). The vines entagling around Tarak (5) and yanking him away from the crew of people closer to Lafetha.
One of the tavern members grabs ahold of the dead, dragging him of to the side. Others run out, continuing to shout for guards and assistance. Others rally - smashing bottles and moving to go after the Paladin but aren't able to get past his armor.
Morgan moves back towards Tarak, drawing their blade and manages to place two quick slashes across the back of the knee and into the side (7 + 9). Now surrounded, Tarak's first swing cleaves one of the patrons in two. The blade swinging in to the spine before kicking the corpse off the blade. The second turns to Morgan the blade cutting deep into them as a spray of blood covers the floor (15).
Round 4 (Begin)
Setup: Morgan lays on the ground, bleeding out. (Death Saves, unless healed) A very bloody and teetering on death Tarak is surrounded on three sides by other Patrons, with Lafetha about 15 feet away. Abigail is about 10 feet away from the injured Morgan and Tarak.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Abigail, seeing Morgan fall bloody to the floor, gets angry. "Enough of this!" As she runs toward Tarak, she drops her main hand axe in order to reach into a pouch and pull out a handful of sand. Abigail blows it at the paladin, whispering a faint lullaby. (Sleep for 27 )
As Tarak falls unconscious, Abigail uses the butt of her other axe to smash the back of Tarak's neck.
I am assuming with 3 hit points that Tarak has the lowest current hit points in the group, so even if it also causes some of the villagers to sleep, I get him. That being the case, I auto critical if I hit an unconscious target like Tarak, which will bypass the Strength of the Grave ability.
Off Hand Axe - Attack: 19 Damage: 7 Additional Critical Damage: 10
