Alarm (X) ( ) Of Thorns (X) Of Wolves (X) Fire of the Fey ( ) ( ) In the Rope ( )
Abigail begins to head into (Area 2)... but as she approaches, her feet scuff across something on the ground she did not notice.
A blinding flash of bright green light beams out from where she once stood, spewing out.
Abigail and.... (1d4: 1 - Lafetha. 2 - Morgan. 3 - Tarak. 4 - Wilson) ... make a DEX SAVE. (If Tarak is the target, get the paladin bonus. Otherwise it does not apply) 2
Both Morgan and Abigail reflexively duck and move as whatever spell goes off. The blinding flash of light washing over a swath of land and sky before vanishing just as quickly. Both pat themselves down - everything seeming to be fine - as Abigail moves into
Area 7
a large area that has some logs cut down, while other trees are primed and marked for being destroyed. Plants and small pathway crossing back and forth over the bog itself to give way and access to the trees and supplies. A heavy fog sits on the ground, masking what may be in the water. Moving around a bit closer, it's.. steam. The sounds of boiling water all around you. Periodically, the ground shaking.
Looking around, there's a small section that goes to another side of the bogs that have yet to be cut. It seems the corridor that Wilson was looking down (hallway C) continues through here. A pathway leading away (3) and to another section further off (1).

Tarak peers into the steam that suddenly surrounds them. “We need to move out of this area quickly. This steam is making it hard to see but it seems that this place is designed in a clockwise pattern continually the paths leads us forward but I see another path right near us. I suggest we move back into that area (3) and clear it so there will be nothing behind us when we move forward across this steamy area. Assuming we can make it to either exit without being ambushed.”
He draws his great sword and begins to move along the edge toward 3.
As Tarak begins to enter and walk in the steam... it emerges. Bursting from the ground below right beside him. A massive creature; steel blue with scale-like chitin segments. Two large black eyes with a third small black eye around a insectoid face and mouth. Large fins fan out from the head and down to the lower segments, with nearly a dozen set of legs that propel it out. Rows of spines fall down it's back; flames flicking off as it coils and moves. Looking down and around, it's nearly 16 foot long body glancing at the group.
It looking directly at Morgan, Tarak, and Lafetha. While it's head glancing more towards Abigail and Wilson... but they are still under stealth.....
The creature then springs to attack...
Round 1 (Begin) Tarak is in melee with this... beast. Morgan is about 10 feet away. ((Abigail, Lafetha, Wilson can be from melee range to 30 feet away))

Round 1 (End)
Summary: Wilson notices the beast and calmly aims - fires - and reloads. The bullet striking in the upper section of the creature (8). Abigail moves up behind the creature; jamming her blade straight into it's backside (10), but as her weapon pierces it's flesh - a flash of fire errupts in her face (14 Fire Damage). The creature looks over at Wilson, then to Abigail, as if assessing them for a moment before lunging down at Tarak (44). Massive pincers and jaws latching on; both burning and digging into his skin. Tarak tries to resist, but isn't able to get free. He again makes an attempt, prying the jaws out of his sides and dropping to the ground. The gauntlet lets off a small flash of arcane surging power; a shield flowing out in front of him while he chants...
A weapon made of holy energy appearing on the other side of the beast. It reaching out and striking (8). Morgan looks at the mess going on, pulling out their blade and from the tip two beams of arcane force streak through the air. Mist parting from the sudden surge as both impact the creature (16). Lafetha, seeing the bloody Tarak standing there beside the beast, pulses with a flash of healing energy. Searing some of his wounds closed, as flesh scars over and begins to stitch itself back together (+9)
Round 2 (Begin)
Situation: Abigail and Tarak are both in melee with the creature. Morgan is about 10 feet away. Lafetha and Wilson are 30 feet away from the beast. The beast itself notices Lafetha cast and heal Tarak. It's eyes twitching as it looks around the crew.... seeming much more aware than one would expect.
