Tarak looks up and quickly assessed the situation. 7 birds working together can do a lot of damage but the Druid is the real threat as he can just summon more things. But Tarak is sworn to protect and he can’t leave Wilson alone to handle them all. Quickly he swaps to his bow and fires at the birds.
Morgan goes up to the Druid and Bonus action Hex and then two swings from ghost blade: Attack: 26 Damage: 13 Attack: 25 Damage: 13 If hit will invoke the ghost blade for 11 additional damage ((forgot about Hexblades Curse, So +3 damage to each hit ((hopefully both)) and the nat 19 is a crit so extra damage 20 ))
Summary: Wilson begins to work with the locks. If not for the gloves he had on, he knows that this moment may have not gone quite as well as it did. The lock comes undone, able to swing the opening of the crate open. In there lying a gnome, looking like they've been starved and likely beaten. Chains are wrapped around their arms, and legs, easily doubling the weight of the poor soul. Wilson's unsure if he'd be able to maintain flying while carrying something that heavy... and certainly the fall would kill the gnome. The chains are ropped around without a strong lock; so he could perhaps just try to slip them off....
Abigail engages with the Druid. Feinting and getting a brief opening. Her dagger moving across the hide of the Ashgard warrior (21), a second strike turns to move towards him but it is caught by his arm. Thick Loxodon hide deflecting it away. The birds launch their attack at Wilson as he looks into the cage. Swirling in a mass of feathers tearing at feathers (14).
Lafetha seeing the swarm of birds lashes up, tendrils wrapping around one and dragging it down. Tarak drops his shield while stowing his blade. Pulling out his bow, he turns and aims at the injured bird; an arrow flying and striking it. The bird also disappearing into the air.
The Druid turns to look and smile at Abigail. Slamming his staff into the ground as a massive Thunderwave rings out. The sudden wave blasting into Abigail (31; Con Save for half) and (possibly knocking her away). He chuckles, his trunk taking out a potion and drinking it, before tossing the small vial. (+ 7) Morgan... pounces.. moving forward and getting in two - deep - slashes into the Druid. Blood spraying out and running down his torso and back (57).

Round 3 (Begin)
Situation: Wilson is 50 feet in the air; above Tarak and Lafetha. The Gnome wrapped in chains. Sliding the chains off would be a sleight of hand, while attempting to carry him out would be a athletics check. Likely if the athletics failed... the gnome will fall down the 50 feet (5d6 & die) below - unless caught by someone underneath (Lafetha or Tarak / acrobatics or athletics check. / action)
Morgan is in melee with the Druid. Abigail is (either 10 feet away, or, in melee).
Tarak and Lafetha are 60 feet to the Druid. (And Wilson, in the air)
(If Nat 20, there are still birds. If not... birds are all gone as concentration is broken: 1)

Tarak ducks to the side pulling Lafetha out of the way as well as bits of debris rain down from the dissolved birds. Then he looks at her and says “I’m going to help Morgan and Abigail.” Tarak moves 30 ft and aims at the Druid.
Abigail, blood erupting from her mouth as she hit the ground from the blast, blinks and wobbles - her head spinning.
She gets back on her feet, crouching behind her shield as she softly sings An Ode to Lost Mothers (Cure Light Wounds: 8), trying to comfort herself during the heat of battle.

"You better not come back if I kill you!" More slashing! Attack: 15 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. 26 Damage: 8 ((I'm not seeing the critical damage dice 14 ))
The Druid's hand extends out. A connection forming between him and a nearby tree. The tree seeming to split in two; as the Druid seemingly pulled into the arching split between the tree. It lingering for a moment.
Round 3 (Combat Ends)
Wilson... (does what he needs to in the initiative). Abigail, having been blown back, takes a moment to recover some of her grave injuries. Lafetha too notices the injured Abigail; a wave of healing washing over her to assist.
As Tarak steps forward and let's loose a arrow, the Druid casts. Causing a nearby tree to split in two - forming a archway - that he seemingly vanishes into. Morgan's swing finding it's way into the air and striking a branch; severing it in two.
The sounds of the tree coming back together ring out... as whatever he just went into will close in seconds.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wilson begins to carefully remove the chains from the gnome spreading his wings to fill the entrance against the birds getting in.
Sleight of hand 19
after hearing what druids spell and watching him flee through the portal. he calls to the others, "We aren't getting paid by the head! let him go!" Wilso will NOT follow through the portal.
((he is waiting for a moment of calm to assist in getting the gnome down.
Morgan looks at the portal, Readied action to Green Flame blade any creature that comes out of the portal. Assuming the portal closes they nod, "It was probably better I didn't kill you anyway, you would come back, and I don't have another cloak of the manta ray. Alright people! We got the gnome, let's get out of here... and by here I mean this town. Though I will miss the tea parties..."
Wilson is able, with some time, to get the figure out of the tied up chains. The gnome himself unconscious. Bruised. Out cold. Likely pushed far beyond his own limits and exhausted to a point where his body won't recover without intervention.
It's likely they were bringing him back from this state, only to repeat the torture over and over. The cage itself a trap from others, and the chains keeping him stuck in the swamp.
Another few minutes go by. The archway sealed and the sounds of the woods returning. Bugs. Slithering reptiles in the water. An occasional squirrel. The mission still standing; get what this gnome was carrying - and bring it to Ossus.
((The Gnome needs medicine, which can only be done over a long rest by 1 person - who sacrifices their own long rest to nurish him back to health. Or by two separate people working in shifts, each needing to roll medicine. DC 15... Unless you figure out a magical way to remove their exhaustion or pry into their mind))
"I mean if people need I can stay up and help, but I'm much better at pretending to be a doctor than actually being a doctor." If somehow no one is assisting Morgan will assist otherwise they take a long rest.

Tarak agrees that we need to rest but not here. He suggests heading out of the grove back to rest in a hidden area outside maybe an empty house.
Assuming no one rejects the plan Tarak will take a long rest.
