Summary: Abigail freezes. The sound reverberating within her; causing her to lock up. It more than just fear - all of her muscles contorting and forcing her to stay still. Unable to move. Tarak and Morgan attempt to engage the leaping beasts. Morgan firing off two Eldricht Blasts that strike the side of one of these, lizardy things, each impacting with a bit of a thud (4 + 5), before taking a swing at the one that dives by but misses. Tarak takes his blade, casting a spell that echos down the hallway from the sound of his chanting, before swinging. The first slicing against the same creature (16), but the other two swings he attempts to make unable to connect. Morgan does notice that their own necrotic energy doesn't seem to have any impact on the beast.
The three creatures attempt to bite and claw into Abigail. The first's trajectory being shifted from the combat, missing and scraping against Abigail's armor. The other two both sink their teeth, tearing her flesh (15 piercing + 11 Necrotic). In the blink of a eye, all three turn to mist. The mist vanishing into the darkness, before the sounds of of their clawed feet can be heard on the ground while they circle around.
Lafetha moves to Abigail's aid - her hand against the missing chunks of Abigail. Causing her body to repair, regrow. Muscles reforming, but the scar of the wound remaining (+13). Wilson readies an action, in case they strike again.

Round 2 (Begin) Reset on 6: 5 Save: 7
Situation: The group is tightly balled together, trying their best to keep their backs against one another. But, with only Morgan and Wilson with torches, they can only clearly see 20 feet in front of them before shadows come over. The three beasts don't appear against the crew's darkvision. Yet they can all hear the sounds of the creatures moving all around them.
Abigail feels her muscles relax, her paralysis ending.
Morgan looks at Lafteha, "Hey! I said take care of people if I die, not get handsy literally half an hour later! these things are immune to my creepy death magic, any idea what these things are? any weaknesses we can exploit?" Morgan moves 15 feet away from Wilson in order to expand the range of visibility, and then readied action eldritch blast Attack: 15 Damage: 13 Attack: 13 Damage: 11 on the first bug they see.
((also I forgot Hex gives disadvatnage on checks of a declared type, lets say dex checks))
Tarak growls as the one he hits somehow keeps going. While the other two dodge around him. Seeing them vanish into must and back into the dark he readies himself to attack the moment the attack again.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Abigail fights off the shock of being paralyzed, partially eaten, and then revived. She gurgles and gasps, attempting to get her breathing under control (Second Wind: 8).
She smiles at Lafteha, "Thank you. I owe you one." She scans the darkness, waiting for any sign of the creatures with her sword at the ready.
Abigail is going to Ready Action and Attack against any creature that comes within five feet of her.
Lafetha pulls out one of the touches that she has, and uses Wilson's to light it, and moves 15ft in the opposite direction of Morgan to make the area of light bigger.
Wilson sheaths his sword for a moment pulling a small gem from a pouch at his waist. Muttering in Aarakoan the Gem of Brightness flares up with brilliant white light.
he then lobs the lit torch in the direction the creatures disappeared in.
Not sure if it will count as an attack (he would love to hit one) so it is here as a blind (Disadvantage) improvised weapon thrown.
Attack: 12 Damage: 4
((disadvantage, only added dex to throw, and did not add anything to the damage cause i didn't know if this would even be needed))
Summary: Abigail finds her second wind (+8), before reading herself for an attack. The attack does come, the creature bounding through the darkness - like a cat chasing a mouse and wanting to play with it - jumping as it attempts to slash at her. Abigail ducks under, swiping with her blade. But the creature turns into mist, it floating back and into the darkness.
Morgan steps forward, expanding the light from their central rally point. Wherever these things are, it's still beyond the radius of the light. Their arcane powers begin to flicker around the drawn blade; ready and waiting. One springs out of the shadows at Tarak - it slamming into his shield. He manages to get a quick stab in it's side (14), while Morgan turns and fires - striking it on the opposite side for a moment (6). The creature turns back into a shadow, quickly vanishing from view. The light around them not stopping their ability to turn to shadow.
Lafetha also takes out a torch, lighting it in the air to give some visibility and steps to the opposite side. The light radius expanding. Wilson tosses a torch, it clunking and exposing a single one of the pack of three. It seeming that they're not necessarily grouped up. He then takes out a small gem, casting it high in the air. With a command word, the room lights up. The light pouring out of it and across the hall they're in. The other two coming into view, each of their eyes squinting a bit at the light.
Situation: With Wilson's gem held high, the three beasts are now visible. Their bodies dancing in the shadows. Each of them away from the other as they've encircled the crew. One is about 20 feet from Morgan. (40 feet from rest of group / 55 from Lafetha) One is about 20 feet from Lafetha (40 rest of group / 55 from Morgan). The third is roughly 40 feet from everyone. Wilson, Abigail, and Tarak remain within 10 feet of one another.
One of them does have a few blows against it, but doesn't seem bloodied. Nor is it afraid (A). The second, having just been struck does show signs of keeping it eyes off of Tarak. While the third is fine. All three of them do appear... disinterested now that there is light pouring over the group. Their walking and moving seeming to be similar to a cat that's lost interest in a toy.
On Initiative 15: The creatures let out another of those... shouts. The sound attempting to lock people into a state of Paralysis. Everyone: DC 10 CON Save. (Fail, and become paralyzed on initiative 15, until the monsters next turn)
Tarak moves so he is 5 ft away from the closest one and still 5 ft from Abigail and Wilson for the +3 to con save and for AOO to work if needed. Then he attacks.
Abigail moves to attack the one she thinks most likely tried to jump her last round (I am thinking it is the one that did not get hit, but is not the furthest from the group). She feints to the right before attempting to stab into the beast's neck.
Summary: Abigail busts of speed 40 feet to the uninjured one. As it moves in a protective way, Abigail feints. The creature over-extending in a bite while she turns and pivots. Driving her blade across it's side (15). Morgan blasts the one that looks the most wounded. It ducking away from the first beam but the second slamming into it. It's side and face dripping with deep purple ichor as it lets out a shout. A different kind of shout. One of injury and fear - as it calls out to it's others and down the tunnels. Likely a call for it's mother.
Tarak notices the them all breathing in, ready to let out that sound once more. He braces, ready for one to cross his space. Wilson notices the creatures demeanor turn. Moments ago they seemed to be losing interest, but now being engaged, their eyes go wild. Feeling backed into a corner. The three let out that wave of bass. It traveling through the crew. Lafetha feels her muscles tense and tighten, unable to move for the incantation she was going for. The beast closest to her runs past her, before turning into shadows. The other two also turning into shadows. That smoky mist appearing on all sides of Morgan. Slashing. Biting. The course of necrotic energy from their bodies coursing through Morgan's own. (24 physical + 23 Necrotic: 47 total)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Round 4 (Begin) Recharge on 6: 2
Situation: Morgan lays bleeding out on the ground, roughly 50ish feet from Wilson, Tarak, and Abigail - but 60ish from Lafetha. One of the three creatures is bloody, while the two injured one's seem to be guarding it. From the look in their eyes, it's hard to tell if they're trying to escape or if they're so frightened they're going to fight to the end. Echoing through the chamber, a deep low bass sound is returned. Like the one you hear wild an hour away from the town. Likely the parent returning a call to it's children.
