"It was a heavy price. One that I needed to pay. What better is revenge from beyond? A ghost returned to the living. Symbols can't simply be bought. They're made. I simply had the resources to bring this symbol back up," she taps a few fingers on the railing. Her gaze centered on the figurehead.
"And if I was able to find this figurehead, and bits of the remains. And you survived. Well perhaps others survived. Or at least that can be the story in time. That perhaps whoever," the word drips in sarcasm, "sunk the boat will lose some face. As clearly, they can't finish a job."
The clocks and church bells begin to ring to tell the time; it spreading across the city. "But I must admit, I do have some other things to get done today. I certainly hope that once your tenure is complete that you can come back and we can work out a deal."
Then he heads back to the boat along the way he will browse what various stores are selling
Tarak many of the shops and stores are selling various wares. Leather workers with their armors and outfits. Blacksmiths making anything from nails to blades. Windows of all manner of tailored clothing; a bit of a cultural mashup. From doublet's, waistcoats, vests, and banyans to hooded greatcoats and layered robes. It's easy to see what might be more for show and high fashion, and what is likely for everyday work and ware.
Still it's a bustling street for tailors and cobblers. When crews coming on shore needing all sorts of work done before heading back out to sea.

Once the crew gathers back at the Windhook, they do see Captain Rollo bringing a few extra supplies on board. The tide rolling out currently - making the boat a bit more of a hop into than you remember. Still dwarfed by the large multi-mask boats that are also on the docks.
"We all set?" he asks, gesturing for anyone to assist in bringing the supplies from the dock down to the stores below. "Cause once we're out at sea it'll be full attention and likely some sleepless nights. Windhook here is more of a flatter bottom boat. We're likely to get tossed all around. Might roll. Might not. So say your prayers and rituals before we push off to make sure you're all set."
This sailing element will be a few different sections focusing on more skill challenges representing segments of time during the sea voyage To start, need a Navigator's Tools + INT, & Nature checks Each segment will need to start a character assigned to: Lookout with Perception, At the Wheel with Vehicle Handling (Water) + WIS or INT, Assisting with the Rigging with Athletics or Acrobatics. Rollo can be assigned to any of these. Anyone not assigned can be either Ready to Assist & Above Deck. or may be attempting to get some shut-eye aka a long rest Staying up from one segment to the other is a CON CHECK (not save) that starts at 11 and increases by +2 until you sleep. Failure and +1 level of exhaustion.
Both Abigail and Lafetha chart a series of maneuvers to get out to sea and attempt to catch the winds. Both were wrong...
What seemed to be calm turned quickly into rogue waves and a sudden storm of wind. The evening sky having grown dark - and quick. Abigail at the helm making a quick turn but it not being fast enough.. driving straight into a wave.
((Everyone on deck - STR Saving Throw DC 10 or be tossed overboard))
The sails strain against the wind, and will soon become damaged unless a person on the rigging is able to get to the lines and raise them back to safety.
Other rogue waves are coming (and possible people falling overboard) - whoever is being the lookout needing to call them out for Abigail to navigate into and towards.
The boat rocks. Tilting and shifting as a wave crashes over the side of it; dwarfing nearly the entire mast before the water recedes. Once it does, both Lafetha and Morgan are no longer on the deck.
With both lookouts now overboard, there's no one to call out in the storm. A quick look around the water just shows the churning white caps on the dark water: Morgan and Lafetha nowhere to be seen.
Abigail:
You know these storms well enough to understand the swells and the waves will only continue. The Windhook is just not the right size to be navigating this, but it can be done. With nobody to call out, you're spinning the wheel a little blind...
Do you turn the boat in a effort not to drift further away from your overboard crew? (Water Vehicle + WIS or INT) Perhaps you attempt to navigate and point the boat into a wave; preventing damage but knowing it'll flush across the deck and may knock more people off? (Water Vehicle + INT; disadvantage due to not knowing the direction) Or do you try to ride a wave; getting distance in some direction that'll eventually lead you out of the storm itself? (Water Vehicle + DEX; disadvantage due to not knowing the direction)
Tarak:
Up on the rigging you pull the sails up. The storm raging around you but it does appear mostly localized. Still, it doesn't seem the Windhook is going to have a easy time getting out of it. You see Abigail getting the helm ready (with her decision) but the storm is coming from all sides and she certainly needs a spotter right now.
Do you... Attempt to look for Morgan and Lafetha? (Perception) Call out where the (next round) wave is coming from? (Perception or Nature) Get a oar ready to assist anyone attempting to climb back on board? (Athletics) ((DC 10 to pull anyone up out of the water who's within 5 feet of the boat)) ((Something else?))
Morgan & Lafetha:
You both are rushed off the boat, hitting the small railing and falling into the churning ocean. Looking around you can both see each other - separated by about 10 feet of ocean. The Windhook is only 30 feet away right now, but the sea is attempting to pull you down and away. The ship itself turning and tossing as it rides the storm. The lanterns on the mast giving you some kind of point to look at.
Swimming towards it comes with it's own challenges (Athletics / can take 1 level of exhaustion to give yourself advantage), as the ocean attempts to bring you down. ((Or other ability))
Seeing Morgan and Lafetha get dumped overboard, Abigail curses. "Morgan, I hope you can take care of yourself out there..."
Knowing that without a spotter, her odds of keeping the ship upright are diminished - and not wanting to put all of her hopes in Tarak to help her through this - she is going to attempt to keep the boat from drifting farther from her fellow crew members.
Big Wheel a keep on turning. Waves won't you stop a churning... Rolling. Rolling. Rolling Water Vehicle: 22
Tarak hangs on to the rigging for all he is worth and hopes that the others are able to get back to the boat. What he does know is he has to try to help Abigail know what is coming or the next wave might take them all overboard as well.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Windhook: 8 (x2)
Abigail turns the Windhook. A swell coming and lifting the boat up then the boat falling back down. Abigail turning the wheel to do her best at preventing the boat from rolling and moving.
Morgan gets a breath of air and casts fly - grabbing Lafetha as they make their way back on the deck. Hitting the deck as Tarak looks around and calls out to Abigail of another incoming swell...
With another swell on the horizon. You know the storm will pass in time, but you could also attempt to get out of the worse parts of it.
Abigail do you.... Knowing these waves are tossing your smaller boat around, turn into it to hopefully prevent any structural damage? (Water Vehicle + INT or WIS) Turn and attempt to use the wave to begin carrying you away and get some distance from this storm? (Water Vehicle + DEX) Hold steady? (Water Vehicle + DEX or INT or WIS / advantage. Give advantage to saves if successful)
Tarak, Morgan, and Lafetha... Do any of you attempt to spot any incoming rogue waves for Abigail? (Perception) It might be possible to for someone to get the mast partly opened - giving you some distance from this storm but may make it more difficult for Abigail / Damage the sails (Acrobatics or Athletics) Attempt to row in a effort to gain any distance? (Athletics; can take 1 level of exhaustion for advantage) Try to figure out how long this storm will last, or maybe how far you need to get away? (Nature) Brace for whatever is to come (Advantage on incoming save, if any)

Abigail departs Madam Ce'Forgebar, and slinks back to the Windhook - lost in thought and memory.
