Lafetha, taking a brief moment you do look around. Trying to find a calm inside the storm itself. The way the wind swirls in combination with the clouds. The faint bits of light that slip through and are on the horizon.
You firmly believe that the storm should pass in another minute or so (8 rounds.) But if Abigail is able to ride the waves, or people managed the sail, she could navigate out in about half that time.
Abigail you turn with the incoming wave. Spinning the wheel to maneuver the ship. Rocking. Rolling. As the wave changes the boat once again drops into the water. You fighting for control to keep it from rolling or capsizing. But you are successful in the stunt. (Windhook takes: 6 doubled)
Before you get a moment to catch your breath Morgan shouts at you that another wave is coming...
Tarak, while you braced it seemed that the sailor in the crew managed to pull off a impressive stunt.

Abigail do you... Knowing these waves are tossing your smaller boat around, turn into it to hopefully prevent any structural damage? (Water Vehicle + INT or WIS) Turn and attempt to use the wave to begin carrying you away and get some distance from this storm? (Water Vehicle + DEX) Hold steady? (Water Vehicle + DEX or INT or WIS / advantage. Give advantage to saves if successful)
Lafetha, Morgan, Tarak... Do any of you attempt to spot any incoming rogue waves for Abigail? (Perception) It might be possible to for someone to get the mast partly opened - giving you some distance from this storm but may make it more difficult for Abigail / Damage the sails (Acrobatics or Athletics) Attempt to row in a effort to gain any distance? (Athletics; can take 1 level of exhaustion for advantage) Brace for whatever is to come (Advantage on incoming save, if any)
The Wave: Will Deal: 5 d6 of damage The DC: 11 ((both for navigating it & for any saves))
Tarak attempts to use the oars to right the boat, but to no success. Abigail makes a turn, attempting to find a path from the heavy wave. The boat rushing up, and the wave seeming to fall underneath them... the Windhook hanging in air as it crashes back down, yet another wave of water flushing the deck and striking the crew.

Morgan drops off Lafetha, "okay, if this happens again then she's definitely doing it on propose... why would she want to kill us. Unless, there is another love interest." Morgan looks at Lafetha, "Another another love interest. She's cheating on me TWICE!?!?! that's super embarrassing, but who is this mysterious love interest?" Morgan sees Tarak's completely jacked bod, his muscles glistening with sea water as he pulls himself out of the ocean "of course... it all makes sense now..." Morgan looks up and sees the inescapable wave coming for the ship, "TARAK I need your hot body next to mine... that came out wrong! use your dragon sparkle good juice... that's worse some how..."

The wave plows into the side. Abigail trying their best to turn and get the wave to move. The ship rocks, the wave crashing along the hull. The sounds of the wood straining and a few loud shouts of Captain Rollo down below deck. Doing... something down there.
Then the wave breaks over the side. Striking over the crew. Abigail and Tarak both falling overboard. (Lafetha and Morgan - STR saves / advantage with +3)
((Depending on who's on the deck...))
Rollo runs up, soaked and wet. And a slightly bloody face likely from being tossed around for the last little bit. Hammer and a few extra planks of wood from whatever he was fixing down in the cargo hold.
"Oh what in the name of the Queen...." ((Rollo will take the Helm and hold the boat steady, if nobody else is on the deck. Otherwise he will assist anyone trying to swim with the oars))
